I was wondering if Diamond and Pearl was good enough for me to get a DS for? I don't have one yet and I was thinking about getting a DS Lite. Though I'm worried that when I do get it and pick up D/P I'm afraid that the wifi battles would be loaded with noobs. Any thoughts or opinions of weather It's worth getting a DS Lite for?

On-Topic: Yeah, I bought this game, and I'm loving it. However, the DS has so much more: Elite Beat Agents, New Super Mario Bros, etc. etc. To say that this game alone is worth the DS... seems like a loaded question. There are plenty of other really fun games to get for the DS and you shouldn't limit yourself to a single game.

Honestly I'd say a DS Lite is definitely worth getting, not just because of Pokemon but because of the numerous other games available for the system.

I really love my DS lite. If I'm truly honest with myself I bought it for pokemon even though I picked my DS up last December and played other games like Mario Kart while waiting for pokemon. If you really like pokemon then I don't see there being much of a problem with buying it because there are other great games for the DS. Elite Beat Agents alone is worth buying a DS in my opinion. I should bring Sonuis's attention to this topic.. he could list of a bunch of other worthwhile DS games.
