[box]This is my first RMT ever, but I've played Pokémon Showdown for quite a while. So I wanted to share my favorite team, and it's a sand-team that have been pretty successful. It has Tyranitar as sand-inducer, and I would say it is a balanced team since it has 3 offensively-oriented and 3 defensively-oriented Pokémon. It started with me never being able to get a good sand-team together, so I started to look around other sand-teams to get some inspiration. And of course is the first choice for an OU sand-team if they want Tyranitar or Hippowdon. And I choose Tyranitar to begin with, since it has better coverage moves and can survive a Hydro Pump from Choice Specs Politoed (if you are in Sandstorm). Then I keept building in this pattern, keeping in mind that they had to be viable choices; one sweeper per one wall. And so on until I got this, in my opinion, a pretty good OU Sandstrom team. So here I present to you, Wrath of the Sands![/box]

Tyranitar@
chople-berry.png

Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 Hp / 132 Atk / 112 Def / 16 Spe
Nature: Impish (+Def, -SpA)
Moves: Crunch | Stealth Rock | Superpower | Fire Punch
Description: [Box]I choose Tyranitar as a lead over Hippowdon because I wanted to have some balance between support with Stealth Rock and coverage with the other moves. And for the 16 speed EVs, I have them to outrun other Tyranitars, and then I utilize the Superpower to easily take them down. I exchanged the Pursuit for Crunch because I wanted to be able to hit targets I do not Pursuit-trap hard immediately. I like to use Chople Berry with the defense EVs just to get some durability against Tyranitars biggest weakness and I don't use any SpD EVs because Sandstorm already gives him double SpD which makes him a great tank to both physical and special attacks. I like to have Fire Punch on Tyranitar, just to easily plow away both Ferrothorn and Forretress early game just because I don't have a rapid spinner.[/box]

Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 Hp / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
Moves: Bullet Punch | Bug Bite | Roost | Sword Dance
Description: Scizor is by far one of the best pokemon in Overused. It's really no wonder why it has been at the top of the usage stats for so long. While sadly most people believe it is a Choice Band set, but they doesn't start tremble in fear untill you begin setting up Swords Dance to execute them with great STAB priority and STAB Bug Bite. And due to its big pile o' resistances, Scizor can usually find a good and suiting switch in. Scizor can be brought in after a Choiced resisted move whose user usually fears Pursuit from Scizor. While the Choice user continues to attack, Scizor can set up boosts from Sword Dance and then possibly sweeping a whole team. If the enemy still thinks you have Pursuit, you could go for even more SDs or Roost up, or you could go straight for the Bullet Punch or Bug Bite, in case the enemy resists the Bullet Punch. Scizor is the ultimate killer on this team having immunity to Sandstorm and Toxic, which usually stops Pokémon from sweeping. And it does often plows through in the end. The only hing is, Scizor needs to be careful of burns as there is no cleric on this team.[/box]

Jellicent@

Trait: Cursed Body
EVs: 248 Hp / 156 Def / 104 SpD
Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
Moves: Scald | Taunt | Shadow Ball | Recover
Description: I would have wanted to put Rappid Spin Tentacruel over Jellicent at this team, but allready having a Poison-type Pokémon, Roserade, I wanted to have a good and bulky Water-type and spin-blocker, instead of another Poison-type. This set helps me deal with CM Reuniclus and other Ghost/Fire-types. And as I do resist Fire-type, I can also cover up another teammates weakness. As I will write, Jellicent has great synergy with Gliscor. Because the both cover their weaknesses good and if the opponent think I will do another swtitch from Gliscor, I can (with predictions) get a free chance to set-up Sword Dance. Not only is Jellicent a good spin-blocker but this set of Moves allows Jellicent to stop any Pokémon that wants to set-up, and while that Pokémon is attacking Jellicent I can use scald untill I get the Burn and then I can stall them with Taunt/Recover, and get off some extra damage with Scald/Shadow Ball.[/box]
