ORAS OU X-zard HO (peaked at ~1500)

Charizard (M) @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance

I built this team around X-zard. Standard offensive DD set, but with EQ > roost. EQ is good because too many things wall it without EQ (looking at you heatran) and I can't always wait for heatran to be gone to start the sweep. I also don't want to break momentum to counter heatran. I didn't want to run duggy either.

Sableye @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe
Careful Nature
- Knock Off
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt
- Recover

Sableye is pretty cool on this team because outside of heatran leads, he beats most pokemon 1v1. Priority WoWs for any Lando-ts or other bulky guys like Tyranitar, metagross, etc. Knock off is a given, and stall breaker taunt is good for guys like Slowbro or Crocune. Special defense because the WoW will cut physical attacks in half for him. 8 speed to get the jump on other sableyes.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Knock Off

Scarf lando is awesome because he can switch into a lot of pokemon, tank a hit, and force a switch. Pivot u-turn is amazing with X-zard because he can scout for a good switch in opportunity (this is a common theme on this team, pivoting into a chance to set up). I think everyone knows what lando-t does, he switches into physical attackers and forces switch outs (ttar, metagross, other lando-ts).

Raikou @ Assault Vest
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 16 SpD / 236 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Shadow Ball
- Volt Switch

When I thought about what pokemon X-zard needed, AV raikou was my first thought. He beats so many problem pokemon for X-zard like Mandibuzz, Togekiss, Zapdos, Thundurus, Slowbro, Suicune, Rotom, etc. He handles bulky waters, bulky flying types, and all resists like thundy who he gets neutral hits on thanks to thundys dual type (rotom too).

Latias (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Energy Ball
- Ice Beam
- Psyshock
- Defog

This team needed a defogger, and latias is kinda a blanket check to many pokemon. Energy ball deals with random bulky waters (slow bro, rotom), ice beam gets some much needed ohkos (gliscor, lando-t, lando) and psyshock is awesome because its mixed STAB capabilities.

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- Zen Headbutt
- U-turn
- Healing Wish

Jirachi was also one of my first thoughts for this team, because many faires beat X-zard (Azurill, Altaria). And so I just thought like if I DD, and Maltaria is alive, who can switch into a +1 Maltaria? And Jirachi is awesome for that. U-turn for scouting, and pivoting into setups (again). Healing wish is good because sometimes I like to DD, and sweep a few pokemon then switch out, and then healing wish to rev charizard back up again (Flare blitz hurts). Zen Headbutt for STAB coverage, and beats annoying guys like conk or megasaur

I peaked around 1500 with this team, I just felt like it was too predictable and so often got into 50/50s and lost. I also got beat by strong pokemon like mega lopunny and talonflame, and I really wanted to fit slowbro on this team but couldn't find a spot :/

Hey there! I'd recommend you to use some pictures for the Pokemon, since it will look better and your thread will be more stylized. Focusing on the team, I'd recommend you using a 104HP/220Atk/184 Spe Jolly Charizard, since with 184 Jolly Speed is enough to outspeed Landorus-T Choice Scarf at +1, which is really a problem when using a DD Charizard X. Besides that, I'd run Roost>Earthquake, since Earthquake mostly works for Heatran, which could be managed for Landorus-T or even Latias. I'd also check for something to deal against Landorus-T, since you could use Ice Beam Latias or Raikou, but if your opponent has a Pursuit Scizor your Latias won't survive it, and it could be a problem since you won't know if you hit Landorus-T or Scizor will switch. Raikou on the other hand could manage it, but only if it's not a Choice Scarf one, because Landorus-T will outspeed you, and you are not able to survive an Earthquake, here's the calculation: 252 Atk Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Raikou: 450-530 (140.1 - 165.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Of course you could cripple it with WoW, but it will be hard to make it switch into Sableye since Wow it's pretty common on Sableye.

I hope more people to rate your team, since I am new at rating, but since I also run a Charizard X team, I wanted you try and help you if I could. Good luck, and I recommend you to post a picture of your ladder, since I think if you claim a number you have/should prove it.

Hi there, as mentioned by Farfield, your team might have a tough time against opposing Hyper Offensive team especially against Landorus-T since nothing on your team appreciates a Knock Off or Earthquake. A quick way to patch up this weakness but still maintain the offensive momentum in your team is to change Latias' Energy Ball to Healing Wish so that you can heal something up late game and attempt to sweep again. You don't really need Energy Ball to hit bulky water types because if you have Draco Meteor instead of Ice Beam. With the change in Latias, you can then replace Jirachi's role for Healing Wish and checking fairies to a SpDef variant with access to Wish support, Stealth Rocks and ThunderWave/Fire Punch/Toxic. With Wish support from Jirachi you can use your Landorus-T to check opposing Landorus-T that pose as a threat to your team. Stealth Rocks from Jirachi will also be very valuable to your team as it is actually a key thing you need for a Hyper Offensive team.

Another thing to look out for on your team would be a Bisharp because nothing on your team appreciates a Knock Off from it so you might want to reconsider using Sableye and try replacing it with other stall breakers like SpDef Gliscor with Roost + Swords Dance/Taunt + Earthquake + KnockOff/Facade. The following set can still check Bisharp and a lot more other threats to your team while still providing the same role of stall breaking if necessary through means of Swords Dance or Taunt and being immune to status after activating Poison Heal. :]

Hey there in order to rate your team best I could I just tried it out and heres what i noticed and I have a few suggestions

1)The Latias set : I'd suggest changing the EVs to 72 HP/ 184 sp.attack and max speed. As it stands right now, you team gets worn down by Keldeo and this set helps it out. Also, the current moveset is very limiting when battling, I'd suggest changing Energy Ball and Ice Beam ---> Draco Meteor and Roost. After doing this you can also change it from leftovers to Life Orb to get some KOs u wouldn't otherwise get with that set.

2)Also you need a balance/ offense breaker. As it stands right now, I realized when battling with the team that Keldeo serves a better on the team than jirachi atm, and since Charizard gets worn down quickly since ur not running Roost, you cant always switch straight into it. I replaced Sableye with keldeo to help break balance and Hyper offense easier. With this change you don't lose out on the priority Willo because keldeo naturally checks threats to your team like Bisharp and Mega Gyarados.

Keldeo @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Icy Wind

3) I also noticed that your team needs rocks support and Charizard also appreciates thunder wave support. And since I didnt want to change ur team way too much, i replaced sableye with a very similar mon, that has recover, t-wave rocks and lures in ferrothorn for charizard to get a chance to set up on. I ended up replacing celebi with sableye. Celebi takes dracos from lati twins and recovers them off as well, so U have a solid switch in. Celeb also beats quag on ur team right now.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 232 SpD / 28 Spe
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
- Giga Drain
- Recover

4)The volt turn core of Raikou and lando is very effective and might be even more effective if you had rocks to force switches and rack up damage. As mentioned before by the first comment , would be helpful to change EQ on char x to roost and change the Evs

5)the good thing about the changes I suggested is that, it creates a nice fire water grass core and Keld+Lati beats Charzard Y + ttar.

You dont have to take these suggestions , good luck :]]]]
