I could use a bit of help with this team please. This is my 3rd RMT (I think lol, im too lazy to check)
Aggron @ Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 8 Def / 252 HP / 8 Atk / 240 SDef
Careful Nature
- Curse
- Heavy Slam
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
Mega Aggron is a wall. That is clear. So, I decided to use a RestTalk Set on him. He is a very good late game sweeper, and can definitely do massive damage with heavy slam regardless. The part I'm most concerned about is the EV spread, though I think only minor changes, if any, are needed. Obviously, Aggron is walled by nearly every electric, water, fire, and steel type (at least until he's set up, and sometimes not even then). Of course, the biggest enemy is crits, because those always suck.
Conkeldurr @ Assault Vest
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Ice Punch
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Knock Off
A nice tank, though not in the same way as Mega Aggron. Conkeldurr is usually suicidal anyway, dying usually after killing two pokes. Obviously, Conkeldurr is walled by Azumarill, which is a problem. Conk's other problem is status, which is even more common. Ice Punch is nice coverage, and drain Punch acts as recovery. Priority is always resourceful, and knock off is a great move regardless, allowing me to go up against ghost and psychic types easier. Assult Vest obiously makes it easier against psychics, which are primarily special. All and all, Conk is a poweful weapon.
Alakazam @ Focus Sash
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
Alakazam has always been dangerous. Of course, a Focus Sash most unfortunately be applied due to
Alakazam's low defenses and sucker punch weakness. Psyshock is of course, being used to fend off blissey and chansey, while focus blast, shadow ball, and energy ball are all helpful coverage moves. Alakazam, like Conk, usually takes out a poke or two before going down.
Latios @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Surf
Latios is a bomb. Draco Meteor is it's nuke. Psyshock for the reasons mentioned above, HP fire for coverage, and surf because it is a surprise Heatran never sees coming. Latios is my lead and usually stays alive for a majority of the battle. Latios doesn't have many issues battle wise, though there always is the choice of tbolt over surf, which is something im contemplating. Overall, Latios doesn't have too many noteworthy flaws.
Infernape @ Choice Band
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Mach Punch
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Flare Blitz
Infernape is another choiced poke, but is another one that lasts a while. It is always a great poke to run if not for all the pokes that take resistive damage from it, the full list being: Altaria, Azumarill, Chandelure, Charizard, Dragonite, Gyrados, Jellicent, Mantine, Moltres, Pelipper, Qwilfish, Salamence, Swanna, and Tentacruel. This list can be significantly shortened to nothing with the edition of thunder punch, but I have no clue what move to replace as I find all of them useful. Also, Ferrothorn hurts.
Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 240 Def / 252 HP / 8 SAtk / 8 SDef
Bold Nature
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
- Scald
- Calm Mind
Crocune. I really dont think I need to explain, but since I need to have a couple lines, wynaut. Ok, so some of you may be wondering why i have two RestTalkers. The answer is... I dont really know. I mean sure, one of them is a phsyical attacker/wall and the other is a special one, but other than that, they're practically identical. Of course, water absorb and all dragon, grass, and water types wall it, but other than that, its pretty good. Crocune got its buff back this gen (like all RestTalkers), so I needed to use it. The only part im iffy about is the EV spread really.
