My Team At A Glance
After constant switching out and in of team members for the search of a unique team that brings plenty of strange synergy I made a team that I can be proud of. Thanks ahead of time for any criticism, comments, ect.
Sableye@ Leftovers
Ability:Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 Sp. Def
Nature: Calm
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Taunt
- Foul Play
After playing ruby and sapphire I fell in love with this little guy, a cool design and awesome typing, but it was terrible overall. Finally since dw and other upgrades in it's arsenal it has become my favorite lead in competitive battling. WoW is to cripple any offensive pokemon and wear down bulky ones, priority recover is obvious, taunt is to stop boosters, entry hazards and other taunt users, and lastly foul play to take advantage of offensive pokemon as well as psychics. It's purpose is to be annoying as possible and it gets the job done well.
Slowbro
@ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
Evs: 252 Hp/ 252 Def/ 4 Sp. Atk
Nature: Bold
-Scald
-Psychic
-Flamethrower
-Slack Off
The bulky physical tank of my team. Regenerator is an amazing plus to Slowbro's longevity especially when slack off is around to provide a safe and annoying switch against an opponent. Scald is for STAB and and burn chances, psychic for fighting types/STAB, and flamethrower is for the abundant steel types all over OU. I considered ice beam at one point but in the long run I like this sets coverage. the use of regenerator works great with it's counter-part Amoongus who will constantly switch in for eachother's weaknesses and health.
Gliscor @ Toxic orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Evs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spe
Nature: Impish
-Swords Dance
-Earthquake
-Ice Fang
-Protect
Another great pokemon who has been supplied with the gift of health from poison ironically, swords dance is for the set up EQ for STAB and to wipe out annoying heatrans, ice fang to take out dragons, and protect for a little health boost when it's needed. It's a pretty standard set but works wonders when teamed up with my duo of regenerators who guarantee a safe switch into gliscor and support when it's needed.
Amoongus
@ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
Evs: 252 Hp/ 140 Def/ 116 Sp. Def
Nature: Bold
-Spore
-Giga Drain
-Clear Smog
-Protect
This generation has finally done it for me, releasing an awesome designed mushroom pokemon that resembles a poke or master ball, Amoongus is a diamond in the rough and I plan to take advantage of it. Regenerator was already explained but the reminder is it's amazing, Spore is to stall and stop my opponent in their tracks leaving a wide range of options for me, Giga Drain is to take out gastrodon and gain some hp, clear smog is used to wipe out boosts a pokemon would go for and works awesome because of the abundant hp Amoongus packs, and protect is for a little bit of hp and scouting moves. A great team member for Slowbro and the team as a whole.
Tyranitar
@ Lum Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
Evs: 4 Hp/ 252 Def/ 252 Spe
Nature: Jolly
-Dragon Dance
-Stone Edge
-Fire Punch
-Earthquake
Tyranitar my all time favorite pokemon never lets me down, sand stream provides a little damage towards my opponent and is used to alter opposing weather teams to my advantage, Dragon Dance is for the boosts while stone edge is STAB and fire/flying types, fire punch for a steel check and EQ since it's a staple move that deals high daamage. T-tar is one of my sweepers and takes advantage of it's berry against cripplers.
Lucario
@ focus Sash
Ability: Inner Focus
Evs: 4 Hp/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spe
Nature: Adamant
-Swords Dance
-Extreme Speed
-Bullet Punch
-Close Combat
An all out sweeper, one swords dance usually guarantees a ko or sometimes a full team sweep, lucario gets the job done, paired with strong priority moves, a devastating close combat STAB and use of focus sash it rarely lets me down. There's plenty of stories Lucario brings to the table and because of that remains a staple on my team.
That Sums up my annoying team, thanks for reading
