Yes, this is another UU rmt!

Introduction:

First of all, sorry for my poor eglish, I’m sure that this rmt contains about thousand grammar errors, lol.

This team is second version of my last rmt. I fixed the biggest problems (well, at least tried) and I hope that team has some potential to kill most common UU threads.

The team:

484.png

Pwned @Choice Scarf
Evs: 252 Hp / 252 Spe /4 Sp.Att
Modest (+Sp.Att -Att)
-Thunder Wave
-Thunderbold
-Trick
-Will-O-Wisp

This is skiddle’s leading TrickScarf Banette. I replaced Banette with Rotom to avoid copyright violations ….. Not really, Rotom handles those pesky fightning –types better than Banette, and it can also TrickScarf, so why not to mix them.

*Three reason why TrickScarf is so evil >:D*

1. With Scarf, Rotom outspeeds Swellow and Scyther leads; thunderbold ohkos them. Nasty surprise, huh?
2. Scarf cripples many common Rotom switch-ins, such as Lanturn, Hypno, Gumpig, bulky waters, Seelix, Meganium…
3. Tricking Scarf into wrong Pokemon doesn’t really matter; Scarf is hard to abuse.

Rest stuff is pretty simple; Thunder Wave anything that you can, Will-O-Wisp is for ground –types and pretty popular Hitmonlee. Thunder Wave really helps me to set up stuff like Hitmonchan and Gastrodon. I’m not sure about Evs and Nature, I just copied them from Smogon analysis, lol.

Pedophile @Leftovers
Evs: 212 Hp / 82 Att / 216 Spe
Adamand (+Att -Sp.Att)
Ability: Early Bird
- Focus Punch
- Return
- Substitute
- Sucker Punch

This spot was pretty hard to fill. I tried almost every UU poke here and Kangaskhan seems to be best choice due to Early Bird and Sucker Punch.

I try to pull this out early as possible, usually against support pokemons, like Shuckle. Then I usually Substitute and start hammering. Pretty simple ”hit when you can” -set.

Sucker Punch is pretty important move IMO, because it can finish off some dangerous sweepers, like Jynx. Scrappy isn’t really needed, because Sucker Punch takes care ghosts.

I'm slimy
@Leftovers
Evs: 252 Hp / 4 Def / 252 Sp.Def
Sassy (+Sp.Def -Spe)
Ability: Sticky Hold
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Recover
- Stone Edge

Gastrodon is pretty cool Curser; it is somekind wall and it can also sweep really well.

I try to switch Gastrodon in early as possible and start cursing to see opponent’s Gastrodon counter. When the counter is dead, cursing starts again.

I don’t see point having Ice Beam; If Leafeon or Claydol comes to ruin fun, then they ruins your fun, there is no point to waste moveslot for that.

Gastrodon attracts all sort of status moves, so I desinged the team to take them; Kangaskhan absorbs sleep, Rapidash gets powers from burn and Steelix eats poison.

Rotom + Gastrodon combo walls fightning –types well; Rotom can take Close Combat and Gastrodon can take Stone Edge.

BIG BOSS @Leftovers
Evs: 252 Hp / 120 Att / 136 Sp.Def¨
Imphis (+Def -Sp.Att)
Ability: Sturdy
- Earthquake
- Roar
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge

Umm… Hey it's Steelix!

My little pony
@Life Orb
Evs: 6 Att / 252 Spe / 252 Sp.Att
Mild (+Sp.Att -Def)
Ability: Flash Fire
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power: Grass
- Hypnosis
- Megahorn

I wanted fast and hard hitting Pokemon that can sweep in midgame and Rapidash is pretty much that.

I try to switch this into fire attacks or into weak ice or grass attacks. Works as revenge killer too.

Megahorn usually ohkos Grumpig and Hypno, while Hp Grass does some nice damage against waters. Rapidash has some surprise value too; seems like not many people know what this can throw out. Hypnosis is always acceptable.

Gangsta punching' dude @Life Orb
Evs: 64 Hp / 252 Att / 192 Spe
Adamand (+Att -Sp.Att)
Ability: Iron Fist
- Agility
- Close Combat
- Ice Punch
- Thunder Punch

Another Life Orber, because Choice items aren’t my thing.

Hitmonchan is my great late game sweeper. Problem is that this dude is pretty hard to set up, even in late game, so Rotom’s para support is really needed. However, when it succees, results are amazing; it at least 2 ohkos (almost) everything.

Thread list:

These thingys gives me troubles:

Fightning types: Not that big problem, but still; If i don’t get fightning types burning or if I switch Rotom to Stone Edge or Gastrodon to Close Combat… gg thx bye

Omastar: Under Rain Dance, nothing can switch into.

Jynx: Simply I dont have good counter. Best that i can do is try to Roar it out which is pretty pathetic.

Physical water -move sweepers: Steelix cannot wall them, so best I can do is to try pull out Rapidash or Gastrodon.

I maybe forgot some threads, but those comes to my mind.

So, rate, suggest, flame… Anything, just post a reply :)

One thing I see wrong is that Steelix and Gastrodon have the exact same attacks. You could try replacing Gasty's Stone Edge with Toxic, since you can hit both Steels and Poisons with Earthquake.

You could also try replacing Steelix's Stone Edge with Ice Fang. The only pokemon in the game who resists Ice/Ground attacks are Levitating Bronzong, and you never see him in UU. This way, you can rack up damage with Stealth Rock AND being able to hit anything for at least neutral damage.

For Rotom, I suggest only using 1 status and two attacks. Duel STAB is always a good thing, in my opinion. Replace one of your statuses with Shadow Ball. But that's your decision. If you see yourself using Trick more, use both statuses. If you feel like attacking more, switch to T-bolt/Shadow Ball.

For Hitmonchan, I suggest replacing his Life Orb with a Muscle Band. It gives a slightly lower boost than Life Orb, but it doesn't punch you back in the face (excuse the bad pun) with recoil.

You could try Flamethrower over Fire Blast if you're going to try and abuse Rapidash's Flash Fire ability. More reliability. Life Orb's already giving you more power anyway.

I hoped this helped! ;)

I don't see the point of having two status inflicting moves on Rotom. Switch Thunder Wave with Shadow Ball to take down Claydol and Hypno.

Body Slam over Return on Kangashan, it's personal preference but the paralysis will help a lot in the long run which will give your Kangashan more opportunities to use Substitute and unleash that Focus Punch. It works in a similar fashion to your Rotom's Thunder Wave to allow Hitmonchan to sweep. I do recommend having Scrappy which allows you to hit Froslass and Rotom, Early Bird isn't very reliable.

I would drop Agility on Hitmonchan and give it Mach Punch to give it an opportunity to hit Omastar when Rain Dance is up.

I would switch Gastrodon for another Pokemon since it seems like that most disposable Pokemon on your team. You might want someone to absorb water attacks Politoed, Poliwrath, Quagsire make good candidates. Leafeon, Meganium or Vileplume would also work well considering that your team doesn't have a healer or a way to soak up Toxic Spikes.

i really like doing uu battle

i love using kangaskhan as well as gastrodon

however i think your kangaskhan should run 212hp 252atk and the rest into either defences or speed. and scrappy ability...

kanghaskan is reasonably fast, and the extra attack always paid off in my battles...

gastrodon is also fine, however id run bodyslam and waterfall for better coverage and the always nice 30% of paralysis

i like your lead a lot, i might try that myself ;)

if you saw my RMT you would understand the purpose of the set. The OP is using it correctly.

The trickscarf Banette lead was designed to ruin any early game strategy by crippling their sweeper or wall. Will O Wisp stops physical attackers before they can even move. Thunderwave neuters Persain and other fast leads, while tricking the scarf stops tanks.

If the scarf is not tricked, Banette can stop a pokemon from sweeping you by nailing it with status. The best part is you don't need to worry about type coverage, just paralyze or burn them.

Rotom does a similar job, but I chose banette because of his sleep immune.

Considering how popular my set is, perhaps I should do an analysis.

Anyways, I think Altaria would make a good addition to this team, over Gastrodon. Gassy is sort of redundant with steelix, and Altaria can sponge special attacks and wall fighting types better. Poliwrath could also be considered over Hitmonchan as it provides a water immune and counters Omastar and Kabutops nicely.

I just saw, that my rmt isn't dead, there is even 4 comments, lol :)

I'm too lazy to quote every suggestion, so, I just say generally that there is many well tough and good suggestions that helps me to revamp my team.

Thanks everybody!!11 :toast:
