This team did pretty well on Shoddy, I won maybe 2/3 of my battles. That was before I added Vaporeon and Weavile. New Pokemon need new strategies, so that's why I'm asking for ratings. Things in bold print are what I need help with the most.
The Team:
Metagross @ Life Orb
Adamant
Clear Body
4/252/0/0/0/252
~Bullet Punch
~Earthquake
~Explosion
~Meteor Mash
This guy is a beast. He will take out at least one pokemon with Explosion, and likely two with STABed Life Orbed Meteor Mash. Bullet Punch if their lead outspeeds me.
Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Bold
Water Absorb
188/0/252/0/68/0
~Ice Beam
~Protect
~Surf
~Wish
I think those EVs came from one of Smogon's sets, but I'm not sure. I mainly want Vaporeon to be able to take as much damage as possible and set up wishes for others. I also need help on his damaging attacks. Protect if he needs to heal himself.
Weavile @ Choice Band
Jolly
Pressure
4/252/0/0/0/252
~Aerial Ace
~Brick Break
~Ice Punch
~Pursuit
My revenge killer. Pretty standard, but I don't really like the Choice Band. I'd rather be able to switch attacks. AA for Heracross, Pursuit for weak ghosts and psychics.
Azelf @ Expert Belt
Timid
Levitate
4/0/0/252/0/252
~Flamethrower
~HP: Fighting
~Psychic
~Nasty Plot
Here's definitely my favorite pokemon of the team. Expert Belt nets it too many KOs to count. If I can get off two/three NPs, this thing is unstoppable.
Togekiss @ Petaya Berry
Modest
Serene Grace
4/0/0/252/0/252
~Air Slash
~Roost
~Substitute
~Thunder Wave
Send this out on slow pokemon and watch the slaughter. Between TWave and Serene Graced Air Slash, many pokemon have been flinched, flinched, fully paralyzed, flinched, KOed. I almost never use Substitute though, I need a replacement. Also, she usually dies before Petaya Berry activates, I'm thinking maybe change it to Lum Berry.
Registeel @ ??? (used to be Leftovers)
Clear Body
Relaxed
252/126/0/0/132/0
~Curse
~Earthquake
~Explosion
~Ice Punch
Registeel is pretty good, but I want to replace him. The reason he's in here in the first place is because he's the best pokemon I've found to take physical as well as special attacks.
Thanks for reading.
