well, since this is a RATE MY TEAM, lets get this started with pokemon 1: Heliolisk.

Helium (Heliolisk) @ Life Orb
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hyper Voice
- Surf
- Grass Knot

Move descriptions.
Thunderbolt: A nice and powerful stab, at 90 base power. it also has 100% accuracy, which makes it a nice move on heliolisk.
Hyper Voice: same as above, this mon has gotten better with a ok normal stab.
Surf: gets rid of fire types, even though it's not STAB it's still 90 bp, 100% accuracy. also hits ground types.
Volt Switch: a STAB move for momentum, gives you the chance to switch out against anything not a ground type.

Ability Description.
Dry skin: nice to have to absorb water attacks, even though fire hurts you more. also beats crocune which is cool.


EV Spread and Nature Description.
252 special attack: extra power that is nice to have.
252 speed: makes this mon faster. so it can outspeed some things.
4 special defense: so i have an odd hp number.
Timid: with lowering attack, a stat heliolisk doesnt really care about, and raising it's speed so it outspeeds base 108s, is nice for heliolisk.

Everything else:
Life orb: just so it gets more power.
0 attack ivs: so minimum foul play/confusion damage.

Role on the team: a crocune "counter" and a electric type, that has nice coverage. special attacker.

Now on to pokemon 2: Crobat.

Poison Batman (Crobat) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 56 HP / 252 Atk / 200 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Brave Bird
- Defog
- U-turn
- Roost

Move Descriptions:
Brave bird: a powerful move (120 bp) with 100% accuracy, recoil damage and STAB.
Defog: useful for clearing hazards and more: also cant iss.
U-Turn: you are forced to switch out, but with damage too? check. 100% accuracy is nice too
Roost: heals 50% hp, but with the cost of losing ur flying typing for that turn if you outspeed. if it switches in on rox, it's gonna take 25%. brave bird's recoil causes damage. it needs to stay healthy to keep on checking what it needs.

Ability description:
Infiltrator: you bypass substitute, screens and more. cool right? yep, cool.


EV Spread and Nature description:
204 speed with jolly creeps mega pidgeot and noivern and noivern-creeping crobats. speed creeping is nice, rite?
252 attack lets it have as much power as it can with jolly.
48 hp allows it to have as much bulk in hp with still a odd hp number.
4 special defense is just for the odd hp number.
Jolly lets it speed creep mega pidgeot and noivern.


Other description:
black sludge: restores hp like leftovers for poison types, but if it gets tricked away the opponent gets hurt.

Role on the team: hazard removal and mega beedrill check/counter.


well, i guess on to pokemon 3!: shaymin.

Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Seed Flare
- Earth Power
- Rest
- Psychic

Move descriptions:
Seed flare: 120 bp STAB move, 85% accuracy, 40% chance to make target's special defense fall by 2. very good stab.
Earth power: 90 bp coverage move that hits fire types and steel types, with 100% accuracy good coverage move.
Rest: move that heals up all your hp and status problems while going to sleep for 2 turns. combined with natural cure, it's a ok move on shaymin.
Psychic: ok final coverage move for hitting poison types. also hits fighting types.

Ability Description:
Natural Cure: heals status condition when switching out. works ok with rest ... about it? only option, so i have to go with it.

EV Spread and Nature description:
252 Special attack: for more power on moves.
252 speed: to be faster than other pokemon.
4 hp: i like putting extra evs in hp for bulk.
timid: raises speed: lowers attack: not using phsyical attack so with a boost to speed it's nice.

Other description:
Life orb for that xtra power boost, has rest to regen hp.
0 Attack IVS: minimum foul play + confusion damage
Role on team: grass type, another special attacker.

since we're done with this mon, lets move onto pokemon 4!: Doublade.

Dual Wield (Doublade) @ Eviolite
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Sword
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Sneak
- Iron Head

move descriptions:
sacred sword: 90 bp move with 100% accuracy, stat boosts don't matter. fighting type move for dark types is nice.
swords dance: boosts your attack by 2. now you hit harder with all your moves.
shadow sneak: a priority STAB move. only 40 bp, but outspeeds all non-priority moves. also always hits, so that nice!
iron head: another stab move, this time with 80 bp. and 100% accuracy.


ability description.
no guard: DOES. ABSOLUTELY. NOTHING. GOOD. FOR. DOUBLADE. DANGFD.

EV Spread and Nature description.
252 attack, just for as much power as possible.
252 hp for bulk.
4 defense becuz wynaut.
adamant because no special moves, mostly phsyical, and powa.

Other description:
eviolite: just so it can tank some hits better.

Role on team: a phsyical attacker.


i guess it's time for pokemon 5: vaporeon.

Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Wish
- Protect
- Scald
- Heal Bell

move descriptions:
wish: heals ya next turn, also if another pokemon switches in they get healed.
protect: blocks the next move, meaning you can get the wish health freely. also wastes opponent's pp.
scald: #bansclad scald is a 80 bp water type move with 100% accuracy, and 30% to burn. can really cripple phsyical attackers.
heal bell: clears all status on your team.



ability description:
water absorb: heals ya when hit by a water type move. also makes ya immune to water.


EV Spread and Nature description:
252 hp for maximum bulk.
200 defense i forget.
56 special defense i forget too.
calm for boosting special defense without really much drawback.


other description:
leftovers for recovery over time.
0 attack IVS: minimum foul play/confusion damage

role on the team: wishpassing tank.


well, we're at the end guys. final pokemon: nidoqueen.

Ability: Sheer Force

Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Wave
- Ice Beam

move descriptions:
Sludge wave: 95 bp 100% accuracy STAB move. with no drawbacks. kool move, rite?
Ice beam: a ice type move since they are good in the current meta.
Earth power: a secondary STAB with 90 bp and 100% accuracy. no drawbacks, too.
Stealth rock: entry hazards are so important. this is why i have stealth rock.

Ability description:
sheer force: removes all secondary effects for more power. this includes life orb.

EV Spread and Nature description:
228 speed to speed-creep other things creeping other things creeping honchkrow
252 Special attack for more power
28 hp because all evs left i like to put in hp.
modest becuz no phsyical attacks and more power.

other descriptions:
life orb: no damage with sheer force, also more power.
0 Attack IVS: foul play + confusion damage


role on the team: another special attacker and rocks support.

Hey man! Cool team you have here. Similar to the teams i build myself. Heliolisk is an awesome pokemon :]. the only fixes i would make for your team is to add Volt Switch on Heliolisk over Grass Knot or Surf. The offensive momentum is very good in the Tier right now since not a lot of the meta can take hits from helio. I would also up to the speed of Nidoqueen to 220 to outspeed tentacruel that try and speed creep Honchkrow. Speed creeping a Speed creep XD. You can also run max speed to outspeed the other speedy nidos as they are becoming more popular. The team looks pretty decent. Ill come back and see if i can comment on something else but im leaving so im keeping it short for now.
 
thx! grass knot probably is the worst move, i gotta try it. this team is pretty new too, so any feedback would be very nice. also this post is gonna be edited with other things.

CHANGE 1: Nidoqueen with 40 hp, 252 special attack, 216 speed, modest was replaced with nidoqueen with 228 speed, 252 special attack, 28 hp. suggested by King UU

CHANGE 2: heliolisk with thunderbolt, hyper voice, surf, grass knot replaced by heliolisk with thunderbolt, hyper voice, surf, volt switch. suggested by both King UU and Christo The Gr8

CHANGE 3: all pokemon without phsyical moves have 0 ivs in attack. suggested by King UU

CHANGE 4: Crobat had 200 speed, 252 attack, 56 hp, jolly. now it has 204 speed, 252 attack, 48 hp, 4 special defense. suggested by King UU

Some really basic changes:

1) Crobat should be 48 HP and 4 SpD for two reasons
  • odd HP number is better for roosts and Stealth Rock damage, giving you an extra switch in overall.
  • 4 SpD prevents the rare download from setting up.
  • You need 204 to outspeed all Noivern Creeping bats, as this is now pretty standard.
2) On Heliolisk, run Volt Switch over Surf or Grass Knot, as the moment shift is extremely beneficial alongside Pokemon like Crobat. Further, change the 4 hp to 4 SpD; you always want an odd HP value. Further, reduce its Atk IVs to 0, as to avoid Foul Play damage from Umbreon - do this with Shaymin, Vaporeon and Nidoqueen as well.

3) Contrary to the suggestion of Christo, I wouldn't say the 220 Speed EVs for Nidoqueen are necessary, it's totally up to you whether or not you want to speed creep beyond 242. Usually, 216 EVs (aka 242 speed) will be sufficient. If you actually care to speed creep, hit 245 (aka 228 Speed EVs).

all the suggestions seem to be working well, i'm working on a change log, and will edit them in the team. i have to go now tho, so ill work on them later.
