Team Deadification
This is my 2nd Shoddy team and is mostly focused on bulkiness, but suprisingly, there are few walls. The team is mostly centered around Swampert and his survivability. Not much can sweep through this team well. Without further ado; Team Dedification
Yanmega [Chuck] @ Focus Sash
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 4 Def/252 SpA/252 Spd
Modest (+SpA -Atk)
- Protect
- Air Slash
- Bug Buzz
- Hypnosis
Basic Yanmega lead, will generally leave a dent on anything that its up against. Protect to gain some easy speed. I don't really like Ninjask leads, but they aren't common enough to worry.
Breloom [Balboa] @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 44 HP/252 Atk/212 Spd
Adamant (+Atk -SpA)
- Spore
- Seed Bomb
- Mach Punch
- Leech Seed
My wall-breaker. No wall likes being Spored, Seeded and Bombed/Mached to death. Doesn't mind any sort of spikes, and is great late game.
Dusknoir [Jhafor] @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/172 Def/84 SpD
Impish (+Def -SpA)
- Will-O-Wisp
- Fire Punch
- Shadow Sneak
- Pain Split
If I need to chip away at something, noir gets it done. Almost never goes down without taking something else down with it. Shadow Sheak does 42.9%-50.3% damage to the standard Gengar. That's always a 2HKO with burn or SR. A shadow ball meanwhile does not OTK noir with extra Sp Defense EVs.
Porygon-Z [Phalter] @ Life Orb
Ability: Adaptibility
EVs: 4 HP/252 SpA/252 Spd
Timid (+Spd -Atk)
- Tri Attack
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- HP Fighting
Z is my fav poke on the team. If Z gets a Nasty Plot up, nearly everything is OHKOed by him. Switches into Gengar easily, and if Focus Blast misses, Gengar is dead. Meanwhile, nothing can safely switch in on Z except Ghosts, but the risk getting hit by Dark Pulse.
Swampert [Darghon] @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs 240 HP/216 Def/52 SpA
Relaxed (+Def -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Stealth Rock
Long lasting, good killing all around perfect poke. Pert is the reason Grass is a viable attack type. Works excelently on the team, setting up for more fragile sweepers like Yanmega, Breloom, and, to an extent, Porygon-Z being able to swap in on the Grass Knots. Other than that, Pert can handle anything else pretty well.
Mamoswine [Eto] @ Leftovers
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 124 HP/252 Atk/64 Def/68 SpD
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Stone Edge
Mamo is a bit of a hit and miss with me. I can sometimes sweep anything, but sometimes he will only get off a single Ice Shard. He generally won't come out until the late game when Scizor and Heatran are gone. Probably the most expendable member of the team.
Problem Pokes
Zapdos-Just Annoying, pert doesnt mind it.
Cresselia-Another annoying pokemon, more so than anything else. Z can throw out Dark Pulses okay...
Suicune/Milotic-No T-Bolt, might replace HP on Z for a T-Bolt.
