Monotype You Relicanth Deal With This (SS Water)

Introduction
Hey Guys! StarBlim here this is my first Rmt ever so be gentle ;-;. This Team was built around a Pretty cool mon in Relicanth Which I find is a great suicide lead for SS Helping preserve Politoad, Checking threats to ss Like Zard-Y And offensive Venu while adding additional pressure to other types with rocks. With that said and done id like to present my team!
The Team

In Depth
relicanth.gif

Relicanth @ Custap Berry
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Atk/ 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Head Smash
- Yawn
- Rain Dance
The Mon that the team is based off of Relicanth. It brings a good amount of support to this team having rain dance to help perserve Politoad,Rocks to help vs flying And other rock weak types head smash to check Charizard-Y do half to offensive mega venusaur so hp flying keldeo can come in and revenge.
swampert-mega.gif

Swampert-Mega @ Swampertite
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 HP/ 252 Atk/252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide/Rain Dance
Mega Swampert Was an obvious choice since I knew I wanted to build SS, I went for Edge Slide beacuse i didnt want have trouble with mons on poison while having to deal with mega venu. Used slide aswell for getting zard Y on switch in, While Ice Punch is used for dragons and flying mons like Dragonite p.s Could also use rain dance in zard switches.
politoed.gif

Politoad @ Eject Button
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Encore
- Scald
- Perish Song
- Rest/Focus Blast
Politoad is the main Rain setter for obvious reasons, having the ability Drizzle makes getting rain up verry easy while eject button makes it switch out on contact so it doesn't take alot of Unessicary damage so it has more chances to set rain, Encore Can lock set up mons in one move so I have have a free switch in to any of my Sweepers/Attackers.
keldeo-resolute.gif

Keldeo-Resolute@Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spa / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Surf/Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power Flying
- Secret Sword
- Icy Wind
Specs Keldeo Is a strong wallbreaker and it rain it does even more damage helps break things like evio core the grass core and flying with rocks are up its a great mon to have on any water team.
kingdra.gif

Kingdra@Choice Specs
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 HP/ 252 Spa / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Surf/Hydro Pump
- Dragon pulse/Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power Grass
Kingdra, King of Horses the last SS Abuser on this team kingdra is a strong Specs user with a Good amount of coverage being able to hit gastro/Seis while hitting other Dragon and Water weak mons.
cloyster.gif

Cloyster@Choice Scarf
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Spear
- Rock Blast
- Rapid Spin
- Explosion
Scarf Cloyster Is mon that I like to use to Beat/Hurt grass since most people don't expect scarf cloyster it can easily deal with breloom and other grass threats that could carry sub like Whimsicott, Cloyster also helps vs fire (ik im a bad person for cteaming fire so much).

Threat List

Grass
venusaur-mega.gif
breloom.gif
cradily.gif
All of these mons can cause serrious problems for Water or in general are annoying Venu Can Almost Solo if you don't have a check, Breloom punches holes threw your team if you don't have rocks up which you can't set vs breloom and Cradily absorbs water Moves which might force you out depending on what mon is out.

Psychic
slowbro.gif
alakazam-mega.gif
gardevoir.gif
Slowbro can be a huge problem for this team especially if it has twave+Cm which Could just win at +2. Mega-Alakazam and Gardevoir are kind of obvious why there threats tracing Swift Swim and possibly having Energy ball/Moonblast is devastating.
Ground
seismitoad.gif
excadrill.gif
hippowdon.gif
Seismitoad can be a threat since it can switch in on Predicted water Moves and posibly use grass knot which can either ko or hurt most of my mons. Excadrill & Hippo Combo can hurt my team since it gets rid of my rain and I have no ground resist/Immunity.
Water
azumarill.gif
rotom-wash.gif
volcanion.gif
Azumarill is a problem since it hits alot of my mons verry hard with band and with its move pool it can hit everything hard. Rotom-Wash can be a problem especially since dual status isnt uncommon so what ever it cant para it can burn which can be problematic. Volcanion absorbs water Moves and often carries hp grass which is annoying since one of my better checks for it x4 weak to grass.
Fire
charizard-mega-y.gif
victini.gif
Charizard-Y can stop rain and spam solarbeam or other strong moves while weakening water Moves which is annoying.Victini can carry Bolt Strike and eball which covers most of my team pretty well.
Conclusion
Its a verry fun team and easy to use and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

Cool team but a couple things that stick out that need to be changed

Cloyster seems a bit out of place on this team. I feel Cloyster has no place on an offensive Swift Swim Water team even if it isn't Shell Smash. Cloyster-->Starmie also has access Rapid Spin and it outspeeds majority of what Choice Scarf Cloyster is being used for such as Serperior, Latios, and Mega Diancie. Life Orb Starmie fits perfectly as it has a great movepull with coverage moves such as Ice Beam and Thunderbolt. Starmie also serves as a great Mega Venusaur check with Psychic over Psyshock as it does more damage to the common Mega Venusaur spread. Starmie also has Analytic which gives Starmie a 30% boost if the opponent switches.

Only nitpick I have with Keldeo is Surf--->Scald. Simply put Scald is better on Keldeo 95% of the time because of 30% chance to burn. Scald allows you to punish switches into Pokemon such as Latios, Slowbro, and Jirachi.

On Kingdra I feel like Hidden Power Grass is out of place as the team has multiple ways to deal with Gastrodon depending on the EV spread. For the last move either Dragon Pulse or Hydro Pump. Hydro Pump allows you to run a more powerful water STAB. Dragon Pulse allows Kingdra to hit Dragon types for consistent damage without worrying about the drop from Draco Meteor
Good Luck with the team!!!

Hey nice team, just have some suggestions.

1)
I know you wanted to build around relicanth, but why not just go for kabutops? It has access to rocks, SS, a better speed tier, as well as stone edge and knock off, to deal with flying, fire, and psychic types. Also ur team desperately needs something that can get rid of slowbro as to avoid the twave on every mon of yours.

Kabutops @ Life Orb/Focus Sash
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock

+2 252 Atk Life Orb Kabutops Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 232+ Def Slowbro: 346-408 (87.8 - 103.5%) -- 25% chance to OHKO

2) I would definitely recommend just running Surf/Hydro/Draco/DPulse on Kingdra. Ice Beam is really not needed, it doesnt really hit much, and dpulse outweighs the benefits. Surf is needed for reliable STAB, and Hydro is needed to get the crucial 1/2hk0's.

3) Also would like for you to add ice shard > explosion on cloyster, as your team lacks any form of priority bar custap berry, and having atleast some form of priority is necessary at times.

Also I feel like one of the flaws in ur team is that you are building to beat grass way too much. That is why 2 of the threatening types to this team are types you should have an advantage to. Ground and Fire should not be that big of a problem, but since you are very focused on beating grass, they become one.

Good luck!

Thanks For the suggestion but one of the main reasons why I'm Adamant on keeping Relicanth Is because it's the only way I can beat venusaur since it does 2ko Offensive Venu. It allows the other part of my venu Check HP Flying keldeo to come in and revenge and I did already add Starmie so Natural Cure will help alot vs Slowbro so Twave spam doesn't just win, Also I have used Kabutops before and I will say that I found this worse then Relicanth weird ik but It just feels lack luster all around Sorry For this paragraph Xd.
