[OVERVIEW]
Main purpose is to act as a spinblocker on hazardstack teams, being able to stomach both knock offs and draco meteors from cyclizar and threatening damage on galarian-weezing with shadow ball. Additionally functions as a good physical wall with its good physical bulk and chance to burn with scorching sands. Has trouble dealing with super effective special hits from mons like Gengar and Empoleon, and has trouble properly threatening talonflame and noivern since they can heal back the admitedly lackluster damage from shadow ball. Additionally, Palossand has trouble dealing with powerful wallbreakers such as galarian zapdos and crawdaunt, who can 2HKO palossand either with tera or just naturally in crawdaunt's case. Overall tera reliant, and can find itself having trouble finding entry points in games, and since it relies on tera to be a good physical wall, it means that it has to sacrifice being a spinblocker in the process, causing Palossand to have issues with trying to do both things at once.

(working idea for overview, not intended to be whats actually going up)

Set Details
====

Heavy-Duty-Boots lets Palossand stick around for longer when switching in repeatedly, while Colbur Berry allows Palossand to take less damage from Knock Off primarily. Tera Water allows for Palossand to resist super effective Water-type attacks, while Tera Fairy allows Palossand to resist super effective Dark-type attacks. Tera Poison lets Palossand resist Fighting type attacks, while also being able to absorb Toxic from the likes of Umbreon.

IDK where else to put this for now, but Palossand is a really bulky ghost, so teams that benefit from a reliable fighting immune appreciate Palossand. Reliable registeel stopgap, and speaking of gap it's able to obviously switch into a predicted close combat from gapdos, while having the ability to stomach brave birds if the palossand user guesses wrong.

Other Options
====

If running Palossand on teams that rely on Toxic Spikes, Shadow Ball can be substituted for Hex.

Checks and Counters
====

**Water-types**: Pokemon such as Crawdaunt and Basculegion-F are able to threaten out Palossand with their STAB combinations, while taking little risk from Palossand staying in. Gyarados in particular is able to avoid the threat of being burned from Scorching Sands, and is able to setup on Palossand.

**Special Attackers**: Strong wallbreakers such as Gardevoir, Gengar, Hisuian-Goodra, and Armarogue are all able to threaten a 2HKO or OHKO on Palossand.
