You thought this was going to be easy?

Whats up guys! This is the first time I've ever tried making a RMT and I really hope you enjoy it. I wanted to make a team that goes around 2 pokemon that I have had tons of success with. Those two pokemon are Latios and Dragonite. Both rip holes in other teams and allows me to have an easier time defeating the opponent. Both pokemon usually defeat at least 2 pokemon on the opposing team with the sets i use. I also wanted to make an interesting team that you don't see too many people use and I've had a ton of success with. The reason I'm posting here is because i want to get many opinions on how i can improve this team. I've had quite a bit success with it (15-2), but i feel like there can be some changes to make this team even better

So, here is a quick preview of my team:

Dragonite @ Choice Band
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
-Outrage
-Fire Punch
-ExtremeSpeed
-Waterfall

One of my favorite pokemon of all time. It destroys teams so easily because of multiscale and its insane attack stat while holding a choice band. I usually lead with this pokemon because many believe i'm going to start setting up and don't expect it to automatically destroy any pokemon going againest it. I usually get 2 kills with this pokemon right off the bat. Sometimes i play risky and go for the fire punch if i think their going to switch into a steel type. Another reason why i lead with this pokemon is because I don't want them to get a chance to set my stealth rocks becuase i don't have a rapid spinner on my team. Overall i love this pokemon and even if the opponent gets stealth rocks up, i can still use this pokemon for its extremespeed for revenge killing.

Latios @ Expert Belt
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
-Draco Meteor
-Psychic
-Hidden Power Fire
-Energy Ball

"Surprise" is the first word that comes to mind when i use Latios. Besides it being a complete monster, it always catches the opponent off guard. Once Latios revenge kills a pokemon, the opponent thinks right away that i'm choiced. The opponent then proceeds to send in a pokemon that can set up, for example, Scizor. Then i completely shock them and change up moves and KO the pokemon. Energy Ball is for Gastro and Swampert that love to switch in. Psychic could be changed to Surf because i do have Cress to deal with fighting types. Overall Its great and its one of my favorite pokemon as well.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
-Aromatherapy
-Softboiled
-Toxic
-Seismic Toss

Honestly, i hate this fatty. But its good. Really good. I use it to have a special wall on my team that can take ice beams for my dragons and take care of any other problems like latios. I do have to be careful that blissey doesn't get tricked with any choice items though. I also use it for Aromatherapy so my pokemon don't have to deal with status problems. Seismic Toss is to deal damage to anything barring a ghost type. Toxic is to slowly destroy the opposing pokemon and force it to switch or just plain out die. Overall Blissey is solid and a great member of the team.

Cresselia @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 52 SDef / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature: (+Def, -Atk)
-Psychic
-Ice Beam
-Thunder Wave
-Moonlight

How in the world is this thing in RU. Cresselia is a beast and something that people shouldn't mess with. I use Cress to take any physical hits from pokemon. A +2 Outrage Dragonite only takes 64% of HP away from Cress and i fire back with an ice beam. Overall its a great pokemon especially when the other player brings a sun team which makes moonlights recovery go to 75%. I dislike the fact it gets less when its raining or there's sand stream but i usually can deal with it. Thunder Wave is also to slow down some pokemon that out speed Dragonite/Latios.

Conkeldurr @ Leftovers
Trait: Guts
EVs: 120 HP / 136 Atk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
-Mach Punch
-Drain Punch
-Stone Edge
-Payback

Conkeldurr is on the team to stop sand teams. He's also on the team because I HATE Blissey and Porygon2. This was originally a bulk up set but i hated the fact that Dragonite always came in and decided to go crazy setting up on me because i didn't have stone edge. Payback is for Latios/Gengar that love to switch in on me. Also if gengar wants to be annoying and disable payback, i can always go for the stone edge. Maybe the EVs need some tweaking or the moves so if anyone has any suggestions, i'll take them. I used to hate when people used it on their teams because i was the one who always used a Sand team and Conk always destroyed me. So thats the main reason why i use Conkeldurr.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 104 HP / 152 SAtk / 252 Spe
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
-Flamethrower
-Stealth Rock
-Hidden Power Grass
-Dragon Pulse

I can see that this pokemon can be the most subject to change. Only real reason he's on this team is because of Stealth Rocks AND to destroy steel types easily. Hidden Power Grass is used to completely surprise Gastrodon or Swampert because they always switch into it to take the flamethrower. Dragon Pulse is used because this set out speeds most dragonites unless their jolly which I don't see that many. He is one of my favorites but i can see why there may be a reason to change it or to change the EV spread. It does work and i love how it outspeeds pokemon like Scizor who would be a problem for this team without heatran.

Overall this team works wonders. I'm currently 15-2 with it on PO. I do notice that there are some problems that i have experienced:

Rain Teams:
186.gif

Their tough to beat, i usually do win but its a hard fought battle.

Sand Teams w/ Gliscor:
472.gif

Its just a pain. Unless i destroy Tyranitar fast of course because if i send out Conkeldurr on Tyranitar, he can easily switch into Gliscor. Then if i send out Cress with ice beam, he can send out tyranitar. So its a never ending battle and i usually have to send in Latios on Gliscor and try to take out as much damage with Draco as i can, while hoping TTar doesn't come in. I haven't lost to a sand team but i can see that being a problem. My plan is usually to send in Dnite to take out TTar fast which usually always works because they think i'm going to start setting up. Also if they switch to gliscor, Outrage does 60% to it so i don't think it'll like it that much.

Thank you for reading and please rate. All the opinions are great and helps me a lot. If theres a pokemon you think i should replace please say it, even if its one of my favorites. Thanks!

I like the look of this team except cressilia/blissey seem to get in one anothers way. those fighting-types who have high base attack can carry bug moves to hit that cressilia also. dragonite and latios' seem to be the frontline of your offense, some rapid spin support may come in handy for dragonite and how conkelduur needs gliscor out of the way to make a home run, you could include starmie and replace it with cressilia. starmie also benefits from rain.

scald, recover, ice beam and rapid spin is doing essentially what cressilia was doing bar tanking stab dracometeors/outrages; heatran is better suited to lure those types of attacks.

Starmie @ Leftovers Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 172 HP / 84 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Recover
- Ice Beam
- Scald

- Rapid Spin

Thanks for the advice taylor. I'll try this starmie set out and see if it works. Btw Cresselia actually takes bug moves really well from fighting pokemon, a main reason why i like it, but i do like the idea with starmie getting rid of hazards.

I like the Starmie suggestion, but it seems like Cresselia is a really helpful addition in that his team would have trouble switching into CB Terrakion without it.

Anyhow, SubSplit and SubDisable Gengar can cause problems for this team, especially if Dragonite's Multiscale is broken. Shadow Ball decimates Cresselia while Gengar can use Sub to avoid Thunder Wave and also beats Latios if it wins the Speed Tie. On the other hand, Gengar usually only needs to score a crit and SpD drop or two to outlast Blissey and also does a great job at PP Stalling it. To alleviate this, I think you should put Flamethrower on Blissey over Aromatherapy. Cresselia and Dragonite are the only two Pokemon on your team that truly benefit from it and status can be avoided for the most part if you play smart. In addition to beating Gengar, Flamethrower on Blissey can also catch Ferrothorn and Scizor for a bit of damage; always a useful artifice. Anyways, you might want to mess around with a spread of 252 HP/80 SpA/176 Def if you use Flamethrower, which can OHKO Scizor with rocks up.

Finally, I suggest changing Conkeldurr to a Bulk Up Variant. If the EVs seem to be working for you, then you can continue using them [else, try adamant and 252 Atk], but Bulk Up on Conkeldurr is a much better option that payback, since Stone Edge still crushes Ghosts when boosted. Bulk Up also allows you to gain more insurance against Scizor, whom your main Physical Wall loses to, as well as being able to outlast many other Physical Threats 1 on 1.

I hope I helped and gl with the team!

Thanks for the rating and i'm starting to agree with the fact that aromatherapy might not be needed with Blissey. If i do play smart i can always switch into blissey with natural cure or i can switch into Conkeldurr to get a guts boost. I can even switch into heatran unless its thunder wave. At first i was going to disagree about the bulk up set because of gengar being able to disable stone edge and then im stuck, but then i realized i still have blissey to basically take any hit from gengar and like you said, stall out its pp on its moves, like focus blast. I'll deff try this out and i do believe it'll work, Thanks.
