OU RMT
As the title says, I'm making new team to use. However, I want to make sure that no specific set can break through my team.
Team at a glance:
Cresselia @ Lefties
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 20 HP / 252 Def / 236 SpA
Nature: Modest (+SpA, -Atk)
- Reflect
- Moonlight
- Ice Beam
- T-Wave
Well, this guy here starts by either setting up a Reflect or crippling the opponent's lead with T-Wave. Later in-game, it serves as special wall.
Reflect to either defend or support.
Moonlight for longer life.
Ice Beam to attack dragons and things like T-Tar. (It does fairly well against it)
T-Wave to support the slower members on the team. Goes really well with Electrivire
Vaporeon @ Lefties
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 188 HP / 252 Def / 68 SpA
Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Surf
- Protect
- Toxic
Vappy is my Toxic staller and Wish supporter. Wish helps the rest of my team to stay alive. Set's pretty common, though. Also, Vappy's my electric attack drawer to Motor Drive Electrivire.
As said before, Wish is to support team or himself
Surf to kill grounds that attack Electrivire
Protect to stall and use Wish
Toxic to poison others that aren't already affected by T-Wave form Cress
Zapdos @ Lefties
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Spe
Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
- Roost
- Thunderbolt
- Heat Wave
- Roar
Zappy is your average and common Zapdos. His role is to phaze others. Don't know what else I can say about him...
Roost keeps him up going
T-Bolt attacks Suicunes that try to set up
Heat Wave to kill annoying Forretress, Celebi, Heracross, etc...
Roar phazes stat uppers and helps shuffle with SR from Gliscor
Electrivire @ Expert Belt or Life Orb (help me decide)
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
- ThunderPunch
- Ice Punch
- Cross Chop
- Earthquake
Well, this was the first guy I wanted on my team, then I centered the other pokemon around it. With T-Wave from Cress, Electrivire can outspeed the opponent pokemon and maybe sweep. And 13 out of 17 super effectives is very impressive already.
T-Punch is the stabber and hits water & flying (BAN ME PLEASE) like Gyarados or Suicune, and Togekiss and Aerodactyl.
I-Punch is the hitter for the dragons and the things like Hippowdon
C-Chop is for beating up stuff like T-Tar, and mainly just hitting steels or neutral things
E-Quake is for hitting the rest that the other moves can't hit.
Gliscor @ Lefties
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Nature: Impish (+Def, -SpA)
- Earthquake
- Roost
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Fang
This guy's here to set up Stealth Rock and wall physical guys, kind of like every other Gliscor. Anyways, since there's a lot of people who try to abuse Sandstorm, why not do the same? 20% SpD is good and Sand Veil helps too.
EQ is for the main stab to actually hit things while walling.
Roost is to stay alive a bit longer
SR is kind of obvious already
Ice Fang to hit dragons and to kill other Gliscor
Azelf @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 36 HP / 252 SpA / 220 Spe
Nature: Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Psychic
- Flamethrower
- Grass Knot
Azelf is here for levitating off incoming ground attacks against Electrivire and can hit back with GrassKnot. He's mostly a late game sweep and after some crippling, he can sneak in a NP for uber sweeping.
NP for boosting obviously. After one, it can 3HKO Bliss with Psychic.
Psychic to hit those Gengars and for major STABBAGE
Flamethrower to take out Skarmory and Heracross
Grass Knot to take out bulkier pokemon like Snorlax, Swampert, or even Hippowdon.
RED IS FOR CHANGES
Please list some pokemon that could pose as a threat to me so that I can make some changes.
