Your average team feat. Physical Wall Scizor

This is a team I built with the help of a friend who mind you, must have been very annoyed at how badly I wanted to keep a Physical Wall Scizor. Also, skipping introductions, lyk hu wantz to raed?

Azelf @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Fire Blast
- Explosion
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt

This guy outspeeds pretty much everything except TrickScarfers and I can switch on that to bring a speedy explosion. It lasts atleast two turns, or one (against anti-leads) and I'll probably switch to Scizor on the second turn (against anti-leads) due to extremespeed. The way I use it goes pretty much like this, see anything that can taunt, lay out traps, or baton pass and I'll taunt before they do. If its anything weak to fire, chances are that out of their surprise, I'll blast them instead of taunting / trapping first. Stealth Rock for wear and tear. Explosion for dynamics.

Scizor (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP/6 Atk/252 Def
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Roost
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Toxic / Protect

I was thinking about the perfect method to compliment a Heracross @ Flame Orb and had an idea of using a low speed baton passer. My eyes went almost instantly to Scizor. Good defense, low speed, and high attack. I've got technician to boost bullet punch to base 60 attack to quickly finish an orb sweeper after stalling and for some damage. I originally had Baton Pass over U-turn, but given the disbenefits of not being able to deal some damage, the choice was clear. Sadly this Scizor could be thrashed by a Mean-Looker and its only choice in that aspect. It's perfect for switching back and forth because pursuit does nothing to him due to a) low speed, b) bulk. U-Turn compliments Heracross (as it will get burnt the second it gets into the field) and Infernape (who is holding Choice Specs). Errm. If you aren't satisfied with my description, try it out XD I suck at describing anyway.

Heracross (M) @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Facade
- Close Combat
- Night Slash
- Stone Edge

Ah, Gutsy Heracross. I love this guy. BP/U-Turn in and he gets burnt. Close combat gets a base power of 180 and this is before STAB. I'm not too good at calculations in the pokemon world, but lets just say that he can own a lot of good pokemon with Close Combat. ;) Fires/Fliers types get Stone Edge, Gengar, Alakazam, Mismagus etc. get a stab of Night Slash and Facade ... doesnt really do much but its nice to look at. (AKA, need suggestions for a better move 8D). Even better is when it switches in to Toxic Spikes because the unsuspecting opponent will be very happy with trapping a 'standard' heracross. Well I'll be even more so :)

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 26 HP/252 Def/232 Spd
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Protect
- Wish
- Toxic
- Seismic Toss

WishBliss is an awesome staller. AWESOMEEE. Scizor and Blissey can essentially form the "SkarmBliss" combo in their own right and stall while Stealth Rock and toxic take their tolls. Blissey can alternate between Wish and Protect against more fearsome opponents. I've picked Wish over Aromatheraphy so that my sweepers last longer in the playing field and Aromatheraphy doesn't backfire on Heracross incase Scizor gets a badly predicted Overheat. Toxic is great as it forces switches where we can wish on our good health. Leftovers is a 'duh'.

Infernape (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 26 Atk/232 Spd/252 SAtk
Rash nature (+SAtk, -SDef)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Overheat
- Close Combat
- Thunderpunch

Infernape :). It doubles as a sweeper and revenge killer. If heracross does get owned, it'll most likely be from a dragon and Infernape can 2HKO Dragonites with HP Ice. Overheat is good aslong as it doesn't get absorbed by a Vaporeon / Slowking(or was it Slowbro) in which case I instantly switch to Blissey. Thunderpunch is to give Gyarados a good beating. I want to put U-turn in there to alternate between Scizor's slaps and Infernape's kicks but I dont know where that's going.

Dragonite (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk/6 Def/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Outrage

AHhhhhhhh :) I have to thank my friend (whoose Smogon name I cannot remember at the moment) who told me to ditch Jolteon for DDnite. It's there to pwn the team's holes such as the Latis, most Dragons and some others .__. Lum Berry ensures atleast two rounds of Outrage if he hasn't been parapoisburfrozen or confused yet. I'm not sure why Dragon Claw is there, possibly to be able to combat dragons without being locked into the moment. Maximum power! :D As you can see I dont know too much about this dragonite... or about the metagame to begin with .___.

.. and thats it.

Very interesting, but unfortunately Scizor draws Fire-type attacks like crazy. And Heracross is also weak to Fire. It would probably work better with Guts Machamp. You could maybe even try Swellow if you fit Magnezone onto the team to take out opposing Steels. (Swellow is weaker on the offense but outruns almost everything and has a 140 BP STAB in Facade.)

Salamence is better than dragonite. It can run the same set with more oomph. Since your not using extreme speed or superpower, salamence is better in every way. Why relaxed and not impish? (I think it's impish. Whatever plus defense minus special attack is.)
