Choiced items are awesome. Even cooler than Mega stones, in my opinion. An automatic boost to any offensive stat of your choice for the entirety of a match- what's not to like? In this otherwise standard XY OU Tournament, you'll be showing off your skill with these items.


Specific Rules

Standard XY OU Tournament, with just a few twists:
ALL items except Choice Band, Choice Scarf, and Choice Specs are BANNED.
Each Pokemon MUST be equipped with one of the three unbanned items.


Single Elimination.
All rounds except finals are best of one; finals will be best out of three.
All matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown!

Clauses

Standard:
Sleep Clause
Species Clause
Evasion Clause
OHKO Clause
Team Preview
Timer Clause
Endless Battle Clause
Uber Clause


Coinflips will be made to determine the winners if the players do not play before the deadline, unless one player is obviously unresponsive.

Deoxys-Speed and Deoxys-Defense will remain legal throughout the rest of the tournament.

Kiyo vs Leftiez

DEADLINE: THURSDAY, AUGUST 7TH

No johning! If your opponent has been inactive for a long time, please post near the deadline specifying so.

Can you please be kind and save the replays and post them here? If you don't want to reveal the teams, then please do it after the finals. That'd be lovely.
 
yeah an extension would be nice, something came up for me today and we weren't able to play

edit: ended up finding each other after all, won with a well timed crit. gg mang and sorry for hax
