So you want to go see the outside world. Maybe even touch some [CENSORED] while you walk. Don't worry, we'll introduce that word into your mental bank by the end of this course.

STEP 1
Look at yourself.

Do you really think you could go outside?

Well, I've made a simple chart to help you out.

If this chart is too complicated, please forward all questions to my Smogon DMs and Angry react this post.

STEP 2
Rise. Stand. Look at this guy.

Look at this man.

He's older than you and he's standing perfectly straight. Get it together.

Now, this may be a tough step. If you require medical assistance, please don't hesitate to dial emergency services and explain that you could not bring yourself to go outside.

STEP 3
It's time. You're standing. Place one foot in front of the other.

By the way, have I told you about the percentage of people who lived? Have a handy look at this chart.

Speaking of charts, let me introduce you to my sponsor today, FACTOR. I know you all are familiar with them, but if you use the code hidden in this message, you can get the food delivered straight to your chair for free!

Moving on.

STEP 4
But wait! The best thing to do before following through with an action is to do some research. It's why I always read an article on the effects of coffee on the human brain before drinking my Venti Mocha Latte Cappuccino or whatever from Starbucks. And if you're having doubts, hopefully this study will put that to rest.

WHY SHOULD I WALK OUTSIDE?
Walking outside is strongly correlated with health benefits, in both a physical (Lee et al, pp 512, 2008) and psychological (Johannson et al, 2011) manner.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED TO WALK?
Not much, really - you'd need some shoes and maybe a pair of legs. I heard North Carolina had a good market - I saw my missing kidney on Facebook Marketplace the other day. Maybe I'll go check it out.

BUT THE OUTSIDE WORLD IS SCARY. HOW DO I DEAL WITH IT?
Sometimes, you've gotta confront your fears.

I'D LIKE TO SEE YOUR SOURCES, PLEASE.
Sure, here you go.

STEP 5
There's a bit more we need to do. Let's brush up your lexicon. Well, I guess this is step 4.5.

STEP 4.5
Now, for the big word. It may be tough to hear. If you are uncomfortable in any way, shape, or form, you are welcome to exit this guide or skip this lesson.

Grass
Merriam-Webster Dictionary: any of a large family (Gramineae synonym Poaceae) of monocotyledonous mostly herbaceous plants with jointed stems, slender sheathing leaves, and flowers borne in spikelets of bracts
Cambridge Dictionary: a low, green plant that grows naturally over a lot of the Earth's surface, having groups of very thin leaves that grow close together in large numbers

Now, this may all be draining to you. Let's spice things up with a motivational quote.

I'd bet you feel motivated now. Let's take the final step.

STEP 7
It's time. Take a deep breath. Good luck.

What should I do if I only have one functional leg? Or if both legs are only half functional? I'm not currently in this position but I think it's important to be prepared :tyke:

When does volume 2 come out?
as soon as I have the money to publish it
Unironically this thread got me to get out of bed this morning instead of being a lazy bum lol
glad to hear!

try turning your legs off and then on again. heard that helps

As if the mental damage from [CENSORED] wasn't bad enough, you didn't tell me about the physical special damage it deals. I was walking out with my Swampert and then BAM! It fucking died because it tripped over a Knot.

I was able to follow these instructions Step 4.5. However, when I took my final step out of my balcony I plummeted towards the ground from the 41st floor. Because as everybody knows time slows down during life threatening situations I was able to type this post- please do not follow these instructions until this glitch is patched.
