So, I've been using this team on PO for at least 2 weeks, and currently, I'm ranked 562/10984 on Smogon, and I was like 900 on the main one, but they reset is, so... Anyways, two players who were higher ranked than I both pointed out my team had some flaws. I would care for some advice, if you'd be so kind.
Cloyster @ Focus Sash
Adamant, 4 HP, 252 Att, 252 Spe, Skill Link
Shell Smash
Icicle Spear
Rock Blast
Ice Shard
If you've never met lead Cloyster, you'll most likely find out what it is too late. Just one turn of set up, and it's at 634 Attack, 478 Speed, and even with halved defence, it's still at 198, which is still decent. The only lead that can truly beat it is anything with strong attacks and Encore, or sandstorm. In fact, even with Encore, if the opponent switches to something w/out priority, I usually win. I've 6-0'd countless people with this guy. The benefit to having him in lead is that I don't have to deal w/ SR, which ruins the whole strategy.
Dragonite @ Life Orb
Modest, 252 Sp. Att, 4 Sp. Def, 252 Spe, Multi-Scale
Hurricane
Thunder
Surf
Ice Beam
Nite gets two 100% acc. moves, both w/ 120 base, and Hurricane has 180 w/ STAB. Surf also gets a 1.5 boost, so it's at 143. Ice Beam beats other dragons in a 1-1 situation, aided by Multi-Scale, which halves all incoming move's power.
Kingdra @ Life Orb
Modest, 56 HP, 252 Sp. Att, 200 Spe, Swift Swim
Surf
Draco Meteor
Ice Beam
Hidden Power Electric
Right now, I'm running a full-out special attacking Kingdra, as I've found the mixed not to be what I'm looking for. This pokemon IS my team. She gives more KO's than everything else. My only qualms I have are the moves. I'm not sure of a good one, so any advice here works great.
Zuruzukin @ Leftovers
Careful, 252 HP, 252 Sp. Def, 4 Spe, Intimidate
Bulk Up
Drain Punch
Payback
Ice Punch
Bulk up user. I put him in because I needed something I could reliably switch into, and still fulfill my team's highly offensive theme. He has 334 Hit Points, and 361 Sp. Defence. His 266 defence goes to 399 w/ 1 bulk up, and his attack goes to 324. Great for both defencive purposes, as well as offensive.
Kabutops @ Choice Band
Adamant, 4 HP, 252 Att, 252 Spe, Swift Swim
Waterfall
Stone Edge
X-Scissor
Aqua Jet
A great revenge killer, in addition to just a plain attacker. He isn't as good a sweeper as he is a revenge killer, but he finds his moments. Mostly great at getting rid of things that have great attack and speed but poor defences, like Infernape, or Gengar.
Politoed @ Leftovers
Calm, 252 HP, 200 Def, 52 Sp. Att, 4 Spe, Drizzle
Surf
Ice Beam
Psychic
Hyper Voice
Come on, you knew this was coming. Toed is probably the thing that surprised my most about this team. A T-tar with little HP or Sp. Def investments in the rain looses to toed, and in the sand, there's still a decent chance for toed to win. Hyper Voice and Psychic are honestly just filler, but his attacking move pool is depressingly shallow.
So, any tips? I've done good so far, but I'd like your opinions. And please, spare me the, "God, drizzle toed is so n00b" comments, as I don't care for pointless statements here.
