[SET COMMENTS]

Yveltal's great bulk, good typing, and strong utility moves like Snarl and Foul Play make it a powerful Restricted Pokemon in the VGC 2022 metagame. It keeping both of the Calyrex formes in check and ignoring Prankster status moves, such as Thunder Wave from Grimmsnarl, add to its viability. Foul Play lets Yveltal take advantage of the high Attack stats of Restricted Pokemon, OHKOing Calyrex-I and Solgaleo while cleanly 2HKOing Zacian-C without bulk investment. It even 2HKOes some Zacian-C with lower Defense investment thanks to the boost from Dark Aura. Yveltal's immense special bulk with the Assault Vest and access to Snarl make it a good check to the ubiquitous Kyogre, and also to offensive Yveltal. Oblivion Wing is an invaluable tool to heal Assault Vest Yveltal, as well as 2HKOing Amoonguss. Sucker Punch allows for Yveltal KO Pokemon weakened by Foul Play or a Restricted partner, such as Zacian-C.

Zacian-C is an excellent ally Restricted Pokemon for Yveltal, as it takes care of opposing Yveltal, while Yveltal gets rid of Solgaleo and mitigates damage Zacian-C takes from special hits. It can also give Max Airstream boosts to Zacian-C. Incineroar and Grimmsnarl are invaluable partners to help Yveltal stay on the field for long and wittle longer, alongside helping it whittle down opposing teams in the face of threats such as Zacian-C and Regieleki. The Speed investment allows Yveltal to outspeed Zacian-C and Calyrex-S after a boost from Max Airstream. Special Attack investment and a Modest nature bump up its offensive presence, with 68 EVs in specific slightly optimizing the stat. The rest of the EVs are poured into bulk, preventing the 2HKO from Zacian-C's Behemoth Blade after Grimmsnarl's Reflect and Intimidate from Incineroar or Landorus-T. This spread also lets a Dynamaxed Assault Vest Yveltal survive Life Orb Regieleki's Max Lightning.

[SET COMMENTS]

Dark Aura and STAB give Yveltal a powerful Max Darkness after it Dynamaxes, which OHKOes or 2HKOes nearly the entire metagame. Oblivion Wing serves to enable Max Airstream to boost its and its allies' Speed. Its good Speed tier allows it to outrun maximum Speed investment Kyogre and Landorus-T, even when both have a beneficial nature, allowing allies such as Zacian-C to wreak havoc with Intrepid Sword-boosted Behemoth Blades. Heat Wave is mainly used to 2HKO Zacian-C regardless of its bulk investment. Life Orb boosts Yveltal's damage output to crazy levels, giving it a 50% chance to outright OHKO even bulky Zacian-C with Max Flare. This is particularly potent with Tailwind support from Whimsicott. Alternatively, Weakness Policy can be used on bulkier teams with dual screens support from Grimmsnarl or Regieleki, the latter of which can activate Weakness Policy with Volt Switch.

Zacian-C pairs excellently with offensive Yveltal, which can give it Speed boosts via Max Airstream and OHKO the likes of Solgaleo and physically defensive Incineroar, while Zacian-C in return deals with Grimmsnarl and opposing Yveltal. Incineroar serves to protect Yveltal from Zacian-C's and Calyrex-I's assaults. Amoonguss can be used to aid Yveltal against Dynamaxing Regieleki with Rage Powder and against Calyrex-I Trick Room teams with Spore. Landorus-T acts as a secondary Dynamax option and can help deal with sun teams, bringing Lum Berry, Max Airstream, and Intimidate against Groudon to boot.

Yveltal's great bulk, good typing, and access to strong utility moves like Snarl and Foul Play make it a powerful Restricted Pokemon in the VGC 2022 metagame.)(Both sets just have bare descriptions of Yveltal without immediately describing the metagame significance of the set. AV lets Yveltal play a more supportive role and less Dynamax reliant role comparitive to its LO set, and can check special attackers like kyogre and opposing veltal via Snarl.) Its ability to keep in check both of the Calyrex formes and ignore Prankster-boosted moves such as Thunder Wave from Grimmsnarl add to its viability. Foul Play lets Yveltal take advantage of the high Attack stats of Restricted Pokemon, OHKOing Calyrex-I and SolgaleoSwords Dance boosted Groudon, while 3HKOing maximum HP Zacian-C cleanly 2HKOing bulkless Zacian-C and even some with lower Defense investment thanks to the boost from Dark Aura. Yveltal's immense special bulk with the Assault Vest and access to Snarl make it a good check to the ubiquitous Kyogre and also to offensive Yveltal.(Considering AV is the set, it should be explained earlier, re my first comment in the paragraph Oblivion Wing is an invaluable tool to heal Yveltal while it mitigates damage from foes, 2HKOing Amoonguss.(Oblivion Wing gives Yveltal recover, hits Grass-types, and grants Max Airstream; this doesn't make much sense as is.) Sucker Punch allows for Yveltal to pick up KOs on weakened Pokemon and Calyrex-Sby Foul Play or a Restricted partner such as Zacian-C.

(Don't forget to talk about Regieleki, you can also talk about the LO eleki set for av veltal.)Zacian-C is an excellent ally Restricted for Yveltal as it takes care of opposing Yveltal while Yveltal gets rid of Solgaleo and mitigates damage taken by Zacian-C.(I think Groudon may be a more relevant or at least better AV Yveltal partner. Solgaleo rlly isn't that relevant, so the reasonings off.) It can also pass Max Airstream boosts to its aforementioned ally. Incineroar and Grimmsnarl are invaluable partners to help Yveltal stay on the field for long and wittle down opposing teams in the face of threats such as Zacian-C or Regieleki.(Incineroar and Grimmsnarl do different important things, seperate them or just nuke grimm. Grimm for example isn't really great at slowing down Zacian-C or Incineroar eleki) The Speed investment allows Yveltal to outspeed Zacian-C and Calyrex-S after a boost from Max Airstream and the Special Attack investment with the Modest Nature hits a stat bump. The rest of the EVs are poured into bulk allowing Yveltal to not get 2HKOed by Zacian-C's Behemoth Blade under Reflect from Grimmsnarl after Intimidate from Incineroar or Landorus-T and also survive a Life Orb Regieleki Max Lightning with the Assault Vest when Yveltal is Dynamaxed.(yveltal isn't rlly a great max option into eleki and not every veltal team runs grimm, eve spread should probably be changed.)

Yveltal has access to a powerful Max Darkness thanks to the boosts from its Dark Aura and STAB which OHKOes or 2HKOes nearly the entire metagame.(This kinda just says yveltal powerful. You could elaborate say it's a strong Dynamax option and try to depict its place in the meta) Oblivion Wings serves to give Yveltal access to Max Airstream to boost its and its allies' Speed. Its good Speed tier allows it to outrun maximum Speed Kyogre and Landorus-T, even when both have a beneficial Nature, allowing allies such as Zacian-C wreak havoc with boosted Behemoth Blades(Mention Foul Play. Yveltal is often used with Regieleki and you can Eletroweb foul play as counterplay to Thundurus and is its strongest attack against Zacian-C)Heat Wave is mainly used to 2HKO Zacian-C regardless of its bulk. Life Orb boosts Yveltal's damage output to crazy levels, having a 50% chance to outright OHKO even bulky Zacian-C with Max Flare.( It's 12.5 to OHKO 252 HP 4 SpD Zacian-C. You could just say it's the best item to boost all of Yveltal's attacks.) This is particularly potent with Tailwind support from Whimsicott. Alternatively, Weakness Policy can be used on bulkier teams with dual screens support from Grimmsnarl or Regieleki, the latter of which can activate Yveltal's Weakness Policy with Volt Switch.(Idt eleki should be mentioned as a screen setter, while it's a fine activator.)

(Don't forget to mention regieleki, one of if not its best partner.)
Zacian-C pairs excellently with offensive Yveltal who can give it Speed boosts via Max Airstream and OHKO the likes of Solgaleo and physically defensive Incineroar(Solgaleo isn't very relevant and no it doesn't OHKO incin. Really) while Zacian-C in return deals with Grimmsnarl and opposing Yveltal. Incineroar serves to protect Yveltal from Zacian-C's and Calyrex-I's assaults. Amoonguss can be used to aid Yveltal against Kyogre, Dynamax Regieleki with Rage Powder and against Calyrex-I Trick Room teams in the Trick Room matchup by underspeeding and threatening Spore with the use of Spore.(Mention Rillaboom, helps with Kyogre and it OHKOes Gastrodon which can yawn Yveltal.) Landorus-T acts as a secondary Dynamax option and can help deal with Regieleki, Zacian-C, and Assault Vest Groudon with sun teams with access to Lum Berry and Max Airstream and Intimidate against Groudon to boot.(Lando doesn't run lum and zard runs charti, so the thing on sun it handles well is mainly Groudon.)

(WP has very little use anymore, think this is safe to remove). Add a mention of foul play and how it can partner with regieleki's screech to be particularly dangerous.
