Yveltal remains a notable threat in the USM Ubers metagame. Its ability to offensively check dangerous threats like Mega Gengar, Marshadow, and Ultra Necrozma is highly valued in just about any team that it is able to fit in. Access to Taunt and Knock Off sets Yveltal apart from other special attackers, as this prevents Yveltal from getting stopped by special walls like Blissey. With a Life Orb, Yveltal is powerhouse that can pressure almost every team, but it tends to struggle dealing with Fairy-types and is less effective when Stealth Rock is up. Mega Gengar is capable of trapping and removing Xerneas and Arceus-Fairy and appreciates the presence of a strong powerhouse. Primal Groudon checks Fairy-types, notably Magearna, which cannot be dealt unless Yveltal carries Heat Wave. Xerneas has a good offensive synergy with Yveltal and can provide Defog support. Other solid Defog users like Arceus-Ground and Giratina-O can fit with Yveltal as well.

I would reword these few sentences, there's a bit of backtrack here, you can merge the two points together to read in a similar way "With Life Orb, Yveltal turns into a powerhouse that can pressure almost every team, but can struggle against teams that employ strong defensive fairy-types such as..." etc.

Xerneas has strong offensive synergy with Yveltal and is worth mentioning outside of the defog role too. Defog Arceus-Water is not very viable atm, I would prefer to mention either Ground or mention it's a strong defensive partner for yveltal, Mega Gengar is single-handily the strongest team option and should be prioritised.

Give examples of Yveltal checks that Primal Groudon is able to take advantage of, Magearna is really important to mention here as it shuts down Yveltal lacking Heat wave.

shouldn't this read as 'Yveltal is highly valued in just about any teams it is able to fit in" this is what I think you're trying to say or is it Yveltal is capable of checking these common threats, therefore making yveltal highly valued to fit in any team?, just a small nitpick but this sentence doesn't read very well and should be reworded.

e: I cleared up the sentence thing with DMDW on discord and I'm happy with it.


add a small sentence about taunt being able to shut down defensive switch ins such as Blissey, if possible, Im not sure what the character limits of these spotlights are, but im sure a small mention wouldn't hurt here.
