Introduction
Hello :)
I wanted to do a RMT of my favourite Team for my 1000th post - so here it is - the team you have all been looking for since you got destroyed by it ateast once in your AAA career.
I am not sure if I had the idea for this team myself or if I got inspired but I made this team back in 2024 and it’s still holding up pretty well. The hazard stack part of it is solid into basically everything. Against HO you have Hoodra + hazards, against BO you just have to play better and against stall you Knock + hazard them down.
Boots Zamazenta is probably my favorite mon in AAA. It’s great vs Webs, which is why I prefer Boots over Magic Guard Life Orb — Sword of Ruin basically gives you the same damage boost anyway. Rocky Helmet can be annoying, but it is what it is, git gud :p

Great Tusk is my physical Wall next to Skarmory. Sets rocks and spins Rocks away. Earthquake + Body Press is all it needs. Water Absorb gives it HP recovery and this way it walls Empoleon, Swampert and can recover a bit from Manaphy when it uses Scald. Just be carefull of Ice Beam :p Another option is Wandering Spirit as you can switch in on U-Turn or Flip Turn from Regen Mons and force progress that way.

Skarmory was my Ceruledge counter when it was still around. However it still does the job very well and handles the rising SOR Bramleghast, Moltres, Heatran, Cinderace and non Discharge Iron Moth. I figured that no item is very good vs Roaring Moon as you minimize the damage you take with no item. Rocky Helmet is cool but it gets knocked anyway. Taunt is good vs Croviknight as it tries to defog or roost. You can also run whirlwind but i figured taunt is another good option. Body Press is your main damage tool. Spikes set up hazard pressure.

Zamazenta is the star of the team and the mon I built around. It works both as a revenge killer and a breaker, and I believe 4 Attacks is its best set. Close Combat into Heavy Slam kills non-defensive Scream Tail. Stone Edge keeps Moltres and Zapdos in check, and Crunch handles Pecharunt and Gholdengo. Boots make it a lot more consistent, especially vs Webs, which is why I chose it over Magic Guard + Life Orb.

Unaware Zapdos is my second out vs HO and a good special wall. Full HP and full SpDef lets it handle Nasty Plot Gholdengo and other setup mons like Thundurus, Manaphy or even Primarina. Discharge is nice for spreading para and I chose it over Thunder because I can't even hit Hurricanes. Another option would be Purufying Salt as it handles Choice Specs Gholdengo better and Corrosion Pecharunt.

Pecharunt is the team’s spin blocker. I chose Levitate over Earth Eater as it gets knocked off very quick and with Levitate you only take Stealth Rock and no Spikes damage. The spread lives pretty much everything on the physical side while still creeping some slower walls like Great Tusk. Parting Shot gives momentum and lets you get in Zamazenta safely. Night Shade over Shadow Ball is for the Sub Iron Defense Zamazenta set and its better for consistent damage on Bulletproof mons or Special walls.

Goodra-Hisui is the team’s special sponge. AV + Regenerator lets it eat basically any special hit and just keep coming back healthy, which is super valuable in a meta full of strong breakers. Heavy Slam smacks Scream Tail and Primarina, Dragon Tail to yeet setup mons away and Knock Off is always great utility to strip Boots or Leftovers. Thunderbolt is there so you’re chipping down Corvi and then you can win with Zamazenta :)

Weaknesses:

Technician Loaded Dice Mamoswindle is a really strong breaker vs this team. You have to rely on them hitting icicle spear only 4 times. With that you can try to poison Mamoswine with Malignant Chain from Pechaurnt and recover spam. I also knocked their Loaded Dice off with Hoodra since you live 4 hits but if its 5 hits you lose your Hoodra and probably the match aswell. So get up hazards quick and play smart.

or other Corrosion mons
Corrosion + stall is very tricky to play against. I dont have a replay unfort but if you can get up hazards quick you can win this MU aswell. BUT NEVER LET YOUR ZAMAZENTA get poisoned ! lets your Hoodra or Skarm get poisoned instead.

I like the team the way it is, but there are a couple of swaps you can try. You can run Wandering Spirit over Water Absorb on :Great Tusk:

to steal Regenerator and punish pivots, which can be really funny and useful in longer games. On :Zapdos:

, Purifying Salt is an option over Unaware if you expect Corrosion users or Specs :Gholdengo:
