Doubles Zapdos

Zapdos @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Static
EVs: 144 HP / 112 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Heat Wave
- Tailwind
- Protect

Fast bulky Zapdos provides a fast Tailwind to let its partners fire off strong attacks as soon as possible thanks to Generation 8's new Dynamic Speed Mechanics, which sees Speed changes applied the turn they are used. This Zapdos set fits well on offensive teams; good partners like Expanding Force Necrozma and Eruption Heatran take advantage of moving first. Volt Switch lets you gain momentum and bring in your offensive threats, with Heavy-Duty Boots negating Stealth Rock damage. Heat Wave nails Kartana and Genesect, which Zapdos outspeeds after Tailwind. Traditional bulkier Zapdos are often double targeted for removal, which Protect helps avoid. Maximum Speed investment lets Zapdos outspeed Kyurem-B and Tapu Lele, which lets it set Tailwind before being KOed or stopped with Taunt. Even with minimal defensive investment, Zapdos is still a solid check to Grass-types such as Kartana and Rillaboom.

993, or 991 if you meant Defense

of course, do be mindful with any changes, but obviously we can work things out if needed, eg by cutting that line you mentioned
