ZU Ladder Challenges are back again, so take your heat to the ladder and go get yourself some points.
How does it work? Below are a list of challenges you can do along with the points you get for completing them. The points will be totaled up to determine who is the best ladder player in all of ZU. You don't need to sign up on the thread - you just have to register a ZULC alt and get started.
Rules Unless otherwise specified:
- Battles have to be played on the ZU ladder.
- You MUST have "ZULC" in your username to validate your achievements. Ex : "ZULC Serving". You may use more than one alt.
- You need to win the game to validate your achievements.
- The opposite player needs to have six mons in their team, five mons above level 90 and cannot forfeit or time out when they have more than two mons remaining to validate your achievements. If the achievement is marked as "No forfeit / no time out", the opposite player cannot forfeit / time out at all.
- ZULC cannot forfeit versus each other. If you deliberately forfeit to deny your opponent points you will not be able to get points yourself.
- You are allowed to complete multiple achievements in a single battle
- Replays must be posted in this thread alongside screenshots if required.
- If the challenge says "!Showteam required" please enter the command !Showteam at the end of the battle and make sure this is viewable on the replay
- "Killing" a mon must be done directly (e.g. not through Toxic damage, Leech Seed, etc.)
- In the event of a tied number of points, the higher position will be awarded to the player who has the lowest
KC - Please write the code of the challenge(s) you have done alongside the replay (one line per achievement unless you do multiple in one battle, this makes it easier to track). Also, please include try to include all of your replays in one post for each "release" of challenges - when you have already made a post and need to update it, just edit rather than making a new post. Finally, if the challenge relates to a specific "event" within the battle e.g. killing the opponents mons with a certain mon please include the turn(s) where this happened.

We will start with the list of achievements below. New challenges will be added regularly, and I will post in the thread when they release. I'm open to (serving) suggestions for challenges but please do so in private messages, we will try to keep this thread achievements-related as much as possible.

Monotype Tier - 1 point each, bonus 5 points for completing all types and the tier mascot challenge MType (e.g. MGrass, MFlying) Win a battle with a team of 6 pokemon that all have a type in common (18 types = 18 points up for grabs in total)
M1 Monotype tier mascot challenge: Win a game where you have 12 different types across your six pokemon and Mantyke gets a kill.
Wood Tier - 1 point each, bonus 3 points for completing all challenges W1-6 W1 Birds and the bees: Win a battle using Vespiquen, Combee, and any 4 bird pokemon (make sure you use birds and not random flying type pokemon that aren't birds - Swoobat is NOT a bird)
W2 Extreme anti-poltergeist measures: Win a battle composed of mons without items. !Showteam required. If you acquire an item in any way it will not count.
W3 Chosen ones : Win a battle with a team composed of six mons using a choice item. !Showteam required. Trick/Switcheroo not allowed.
W4 Inglourious BSTerds - Win a battle with the 6 mons that have the highest BST (Regigigas, Articuno, Regiice, Uxie, any Silvally, Electivire)
W5 Braille boyz: Win a battle where Relicanth gets the first kill and Wailord gets the last.
W6 Wood tier mascot challenge: Win a game where Sudowoodo kills an opponent and itself in the same turn with head smash.
W7 SUperbowl: Win a game using only SU (sub-zero used) mons (current list here: https://pastebin.com/24CKyt4t)
W8 Farmyard frenzy: Win a game using only farm animals (e.g. cows, sheep, chickens, dogs, horses, donkeys, etc.)
Bronze Tier - 2 points each, bonus 6 points for completing all challenges B1-6 B1 NFE main: Win a battle using only NFE mons.
B2 Four seasons total landscaping: Win a battle where you get at least one kill during each of the 4 weather conditions (Hail, Rain, Sand, Sun)
B3 Porygon should be ranked : Win a battle using only unranked mons.
B4 GG EZ : Win a battle 6-0. Forfeit not allowed.
B5 Arena trap : Win a battle with a team composed of six mons without switching once. Pivot moves/Eject pack not allowed.
B6 Bronze tier mascot challenge: Win a game where Bronzor gets at least 2 kills.
B7 Quick hands: Win a game where you steal 4 of the opponents items, with at least one being stolen through the Pickpocket ability
B8 Chip damage: Win a game where you damage one of the opponent's pokemon with all 6 of yours
Silver Tier - 3 points each, bonus 10 points for completing all challenges S1-6 S1 LC main : Win a battle with a team composed only of the first stage of evolutions.
S2 Flipflops : Win a battle only using pivot moves (Volt Switch, U-Turn, Flip-Turn, Parting shot, Teleport). No manual switching allowed.
S3 Big fish smol fish: Win a battle where you get at least one kill with Wishiwashi when it's schooling and at least one when it's not.
S4 Corner taken quickly: Win a battle after being 6-1 down.
S5 Notorious T.B.G.: Win a battle with a Gloom that gets at least 3 kills (unlike other challenges, these may be through indirect damage as long as the condition was applied by Gloom e.g. Infestation, poison damage, leech seed damage).
S6 Silver tier mascot challenge: Win a battle where Silvally (any form) gets 3 kills with 3 different moves.
S7 Taking the (gim)mick: Win a battle where you get at least 3 kills with a Flareon, Leafeon or Glaceon that has used Shell Smash.
S8 Everyday struggle: Win a game where you KO at least two mons with Struggle
Gold tier - 5 points each, bonus 15 points for completing all challenges G1-6 G1 One move warrior: Win a game using only one move (you can use multiple Pokemon, but they must all have the same one move). !Showteam required
G2 One mon warrior : Win a battle with only one pokemon in your team
G3 Pacifistmons : Win a battle using only status moves. You are not allowed to deal any direct damage. !Showteam required
G4 No u: Win a battle where you kill at least one mon with each of Counter, Mirror Coat, Metal Burst, and Destiny Bond.
G5 What's a king to a god: Win a battle against a "ladder hero" (they must have an ELO of at least 1350, and 100+ battles played). Requires screenshot of the opponent's rank.
G6 Gold tier mascot challenge: Win a battle with Golduck where it gets 4 kills in rain (the kills must be during rain).
G7 Hax giveth: Win a battle where an opponent's mon is unable to make a move 4 times in a row (through paralysis, flinching, confusion and/or infatuation only).
G8 Hax taketh away: Win a battle using only moves with a maximum of 70% accuracy. Accuracy-modifying items, abilities, and conditions are not allowed. !showteam required. (all moves, including status moves, must have a chance to miss so you cannot use moves that target your own mon)
Diamond tier - 7 points each, bonus 20 points for completing all challenges D1-6 D1 Absolute perfection : Win a game 6-0 with your whole team at 100% of their life and no status conditions. No forfeit / timeout allowed
D2 Up all night to get lucky : Win a game using only the move metronome. !Showteam required. Does not count towards G1 or G3
D3 Efficient laddering : Win a game in six turns. Forfeit and time out not allowed.
D4 Worst of the BST : Win a battle with the 6 mons that have the lowest BST (excluding Wishiwashi: Blipbug, Snom, Azurill, Caterpie, Ralts, and one of Cosmog / Feebas / Magikarp). Cannot be completed by beating another team trying the same challenge.
D5 F.E.A.R. me: Win a battle where all of your mons are level 1. !Showteam required
D6 Diamond tier mascot challenge: Win a battle where you only bring Carbink
D7 Field FX overload: Win a battle where every one of the conditions that affect both sides of the field and have multi-turn effects are active at some point (all 4 weathers, all 4 terrains, Wonder Room, Trick Room, Magic Room, Gravity).
D8 Mr Briney's revenge: Win a game where a Wingull called Peeko gets 4+ kills. (must be nicknamed "Peeko")
Bonus - 15 points K1 King of the hill: Be at the top of the ladder at the end of the month (provide screenshot of your account at top of ladder on the last day of the month at 10pm GMT+0). Only accounts with ZULC will actually be awarded points.
