Tournament Rules:

  • The banlist for this tournament is the same as the SV ZU ladder on the Smogon University server of Pokemon Showdown, and can be found here.
  • Best of three, single elimination.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown!.
  • Replays are required.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts; get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.

#1 budgetplayer vs #16 TomatoZause - budget won zuwc and he got a highest seed with an amazing GXE. On the other hand, zause's teams and plays in sv have been very underwhelming so far.
#2 Toto vs #15 Lizardu'' - id say toto is the better player, but after seeing that triatglon serie, Im not so sure.
#3 BloodAce vs #14 5Dots - id say both players have roughly the same skill level, but 5Dots has unmatched haxx level.
#4 Joshua12343 vs #13 Scarf Kricketune - idk much about either, but I've seen more of SK.
#5 OranBerryBlissey10 vs #12 Drud - depends on how much they care, but this is looking like Drud's best chance at an eventual ZU Individual.
#6 TBasedGod vs #11 LustfulLice - better player, but the wack and random build from tbg can be deadly in sv
#7 TakingNotesKinda vs #10 fish anemometer - idk much about tnk, but fish is amazing, unless he only cares about opens and get outpreped
#8 havocknight vs #9 eternal ocean - idk either players enough, but havoc has shown more interest towards zu

#2 Toto vs #15 Lizardu'' - this mu would be a lot less close if it was any non-meme generation but that being said, toto is still favored
#3 BloodAce vs #14 5Dots - 5Dots will greed and probably get away with it, he's been playing a lot too but this a close mu regardless
#4 Joshua12343 vs #13 Scarf Kricketune - I would not be shocked if he wins the whole thing, SK is good
#6 TBasedGod vs #11 LustfulLice - wish both of them could win, but seeing as they cannot I'm just gonna bold the better record
#7 TakingNotesKinda vs #10 fish anemometer - only kinda taking notes is not gonna be enough vs one of the top players

#2 Toto vs #15 Lizardu'' - washed vs italy actfisher (forgive but never forget), bolding toto for personal preference but a liza w is just as likely

#4 Joshua12343 vs #13 Scarf Kricketune - i've met sk on ladder a couple of times, while i've never seen joshua play

#6 TBasedGod vs #11 LustfulLice - lice is the goat, tbg builds wack which i sometimes dig. upset is possible but unlikely

#4 Joshua12343 vs #13 Scarf Kricketune - SK has been all over the low tiers apparently, while Josh is a ladder hero. Going with the mainer.
#5 OranBerryBlissey10 vs #12 Drud - OBB vs Drud seems like a cool matchup. Apparently Drud is washed though.
