[OVERVIEW]
Zygarde-10% is blessed with Thousand Arrows, a move widely regarded as the best offensive move in the game, making it a premier offensive threat in RarelyUsed. Zygarde-10% has a great STAB combination that allows it to pressure the almost omnipresent Steel-types of the tier while also hitting Pokemon resistant to Ground with Outrage. Zygarde-10%'s Speed tier lets it outpace most of the tier, including the likes of Virizion, Espeon, and Mismagius. Although its immediate power is rather low when compared to other Ground-types such as Rhyperior or even Donphan, Zygarde-10% can fix this with Dragon Dance and Dragonium Z, working wonders as a fast cleaner, or with a Choice Band, offering raw power to wallbreak. However, Zygarde-10% struggles to break past defensive Pokemon like Porygon2, Slowbro, and Cresselia, which have no problem switching into its attacks and forcing it out. It is also held back by its lackluster bulk, meaning it can only switch into or set up on some resisted moves and more passive Pokemon, such as Registeel. It is also very vulnerable to priority users if not locked into Extreme Speed, especially against those with Ice Shard. Having only Outrage as a reliable Dragon-type STAB move also makes it vulnerable to being revenge killed by Steel- or Fairy-type Pokemon, so it has to choose wisely when to use the attack.

Moves
========
Dragon Dance boosts Zygarde-10%'s Attack and Speed to stellar levels, allowing it to outspeed the likes of Choice Scarf Gardevoir, Tyrantrum, and Flygon. Thousand Arrows is a STAB move that can take down Steel- and Fire-types like Registeel, Bronzong, and Ninetales. Outrage is a secondary STAB move against Pokemon that resist Thousand Arrows, such as Shaymin, Virizion, and Golisopod. When paired with Dragonium Z, it can become a powerful nuke to take down defensive behemoths like Milotic, Cresselia, and Slowbro after a boost and some chip damage. Extreme Speed can pick off weakened foes when unboosted and is an option to deal with even faster Pokemon at +1 like Choice Scarf Salazzle and Noivern while also being in a higher priority bracket than other priority moves, such as Golisopod's First Impression and Honchkrow's Sucker Punch.
Set Details
========
Dragonium Z improves Zygarde-10%'s potential as a cleaner, having great power to deal with most checks after a boost. A Jolly nature with maximum EVs in Attack and Speed is preferred to outspeed the likes of Virizion and Lycanroc when unboosted, but Adamant can be a good option to increase Zygarde-10%'s damage output while still leaving it able to outspeed threats such as Shaymin and Ninetales. Examples of notable KOs that can be reached with an Adamant nature include a guaranteed OHKO against Milotic and Umbreon and a 50% chance to OHKO Donphan after Stealth Rock.
Usage Tips
========
When dealing with the likes of Milotic or Mandibuzz, Devastating Drake must be used carefully, as the opponent might switch out to another weakened Pokemon to waste its use. Be sure to remove Steel- and Fairy-type Pokemon before locking Zygarde-10% into Outrage, as they can take advantage of it in that state. Try to find setup opportunities against Pokemon that get forced out or can't do much against Zygarde-10%. Be it after sacking another Pokemon or making use of pivoting, Zygarde-10% can be sent out against the likes of Drapion, Arcanine, or Ninetales to set up on a forced switch. Avoid switching Zygarde-10% directly into opposing attacks, since the chip damage will make setting up much more difficult. Ideally, Zygarde-10% might be preserved to set up in late-game situations, unless it needs to revenge kill an opposing Pokemon.
Team Options
========
Zygarde-10% works great with entry hazard support, especially in the form of Spikes. Roserade, Golisopod, and Accelgor can offer great offensive synergy while stacking Spikes on the field. Knock Off users such as Pangoro, Drapion, and Escavalier are great offensive partners to Zygarde-10%, since they can remove items such as Porygon2's Eviolite and Milotic's Leftovers and weaken checks such as Cresselia, Slowbro, and Uxie, while Zygarde-10% can force out Pokemon like Ninetales and Arcanine. In more offensive teams, dual screens support from Meowstic-M, Uxie, and Electrode can make Zygarde-10%'s setup much easier while also protecting it from most priority moves. Steel-types like Bronzong, Registeel, and Forretress can cover Zygarde-10%'s weaknesses to Ice- and Dragon-type moves while offering hazard support and general defensive utility. Escavalier and Metagross can cover those weaknesses and provide offensive presence and wallbreaking power alongside hazard setting.

Moves
========
Thousand Arrows deals great damage to most neutral targets and forces out offensive threats such as Raikou, Drapion, and Houndoom. Outrage is Zygarde-10%'s secondary STAB move, allowing it to 2HKO most Pokemon that resist Thousand Arrows. Examples include Shaymin, Virizion, and Araquanid. Extreme Speed is a reliable revenge killing measure against faster threats like Choice Scarf Gardevoir, Noivern, Linoone, and Salazzle after prior damage. Toxic is a utility move that allows Zygarde-10% to cripple defensive Pokemon, such as Cresselia, Slowbro, and Tangela, putting them on a timer every time they switch into it.
Set Details
========
Choice Band greatly increases Zygarde-10%'s raw power and damage output. A Jolly nature with maximum Attack and Speed investment is needed to outspeed threats such as Virizion and Lycanroc-D. When running an Adamant nature, Zygarde-10% can 2HKO Slowbro, Uxie, and Porygon2 with Outrage after Stealth Rock but fails to outpace Pokemon such as Virizion.
Usage Tips
========
Most of the time, Zygarde-10% will use Thousand Arrows due to its great capability of hitting most Pokemon on the tier. Outrage is a great tool to break opposing Pokemon that resist Thousand Arrows such as Shaymin, which can allow Zygarde-10%'s teammates to win the game later on as they are removed from the opposing team. However, be aware of Steel- and Fairy-types that can come into Outrage and knock it out. Against faster Pokemon and setup sweepers, Zygarde-10%'s partners must get these Pokemon weakened enough so Zygarde-10% can revenge kill them or clean with Extreme Speed. Toxic is a great way to give Zygarde-10%'s walls a hard time, since the likes of Slowbro and Cresselia will be forced to recover way more often. Zygarde-10% must be aware of which move it locks itself into, as it can be taken advantage of by opposing Pokemon, especially those that usually carry Protect, such as Bronzong and Registeel.
Team Options
========
Fighting-types like Machamp, Pangoro, and Toxicroak can be great partners to Zygarde-10% due to their access to Knock Off and Ice-type coverage, which allows them to take on common defensive roadblocks such as Tangela, Cresselia, and Donphan. Drapion is a great partner to Zygarde-10%, as it can trap most Psychic-types with a Choice Band set, such as Slowbro, Cresselia, and Uxie, and beat other checks such as Donphan, Porygon2, and Tangela with its Swords Dance + Waterium Z set. Raikou, Swellow, and Yanmega can offer wallbreaking power and utility with Volt Switch and U-turn, as they can pivot Zygarde-10% in safely against their own checks and counters, such as Registeel, Tyrantrum, and Bronzong. Mega Abomasnow and Vanilluxe greatly appreciate Zygarde-10%'s ability to take out Steel-types, while they can reliably beat Slowbro and Milotic. Setup sweepers such as Barbaracle and Cloyster are great alongside Zygarde-10%, as it can weaken common defensive Pokemon so they can clean the game later on. Roserade, Forretress, and Accelgor can set up Spikes on the field, which makes Zygarde-10%’s work easier due to the chip damage its checks take every time they come into the field while Spikes are up.
Other Options
========
On Choice Band sets, Earthquake's greater damage output can guarantee a 2HKO against Mega Blastoise and offer more damage against various threats without getting locked into Outrage. Superpower can be used to pressure the likes of Porygon2 and Umbreon.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Defensive Walls**: Blanket defensive walls like Donphan, Cresselia, Slowbro, and Umbreon are able to avoid a 2HKO from Zygarde-10%'s Choice Band-boosted Thousand Arrows or take a boosted Devastating Drake with appropriate investment and beat it with Earthquake, Ice Beam, or Foul Play. On the flip side, Zygarde-10% can get past these defensive Pokemon with Toxic, entry hazard support, or prior chip damage.
**Grass-types**: Tangela, Shaymin, Virizion, Tsareena, and Mega Abomasnow can switch into Thousand Arrows and threaten Zygarde-10% with their STAB moves, though Tangela is the only one of them that can also take a Outrage or Devastating Drake on the switch. Mega Abomasnow can reliably revenge kill Zygarde-10% with Ice Shard if it is healthy enough to take an Extreme Speed, while Shaymin can pack Hidden Power Ice to OHKO Zygarde-10%.
**Faster Pokemon**: Despite Extreme Speed's great neutral coverage and damage output, offensive threats such as Noivern, Salazzle, and Choice Scarf Gardevoir can revenge kill Zygarde-10% if they come safely onto the field. Choice Scarf Tyrantrum is even better at revenge killing Choice Band Zygarde-10%, as it doesn't mind taking an Extreme Speed.
**Priority Moves**: Since Zygarde-10% has poor defensive stats, it can be easily taken out by priority from Mega Abomasnow, Golisopod, Lycanroc-D, Donphan, Comfey, and Arcanine with some prior damage, though Lycanroc-D and Donphan are the only ones usually safe from Zygarde-10%'s own Extreme Speed if weakened enough.
**Steel- and Fairy-type Pokemon**: Although they don't like to come into Thousand Arrows, Steel- and Fairy-types such as Bronzong, Registeel, Metagross, Stakataka, Gardevoir, and Florges can deter Zygarde-10% from using Outrage and beat it should it do so.
