Tiers
- Tier 1
- Pokémon that dominate a large portion of the metagame. They are either quite powerful or offer great team support, and can fit on almost any team. You can't really go wrong by using these Pokémon.
- Tier 2
- Pokémon that are generally strong and can easily be placed on a variety of teams, but don't have the same level of prowess as the threats in Tier 1.
- Tier 3
- Pokémon that are generally strong, but can be dead weight in some matchups, don't have great matchups vs a lot of Tier 1 and 2, or are only particularly useful for checking a certain team style.
- Tier 4
- Pokémon that have broad applications on a variety of teams but are simply less effective than the Pokémon in higher tiers.
- Tier 4'
- Pokémon that, while good, only fit on a specific team style or require support but are still stronger than Pokémon in tiers below.
- Tier 5
- Pokémon that can do their job on quite a few teams but often struggle to find matchups and situations where they thrive.
- Tier 5'
- Pokémon that serve a specific role and that can only perform effectively on certain teams, often with heavy support required.
