Axew has been a popular pick in the Little Cup Premier League thanks to its excellent typing letting it check top threats like Hisuian Voltorb and Numel. The most common Axew set is Dragon Dance, but this team aims to catch common checks like Drifloon off-guard with a fast Outrage that can be further boosted by Tera Dragon. Bulk Up Crabrawler is a Pawniard counter and the team's primary wincon, with Tera Steel providing setup opportunities against would-be checks like Wattrel. Alolan Grimer serves as an all-purpose tank and wallbreaker thanks to its strong Knock Off, good bulk, and excellent defensive typing; Tera Grass and Giga Drain let it handle Mudbray in a pinch. Clear Smog Shellos checks Mudbray as well as powerful setup sweepers in Shellder and Numel while freeing up Glimmet to run Spikes. Glimmet punishes physical attackers like Drifloon and opposing Alolan Grimer with Toxic Debris while providing hazards and useful Speed control with Mud Shot.
