Between Sableye, Blissey, Galarian Slowbro, and Avalugg and their ability to Terastallize, stall teams can wall a lot of foes. This kind of stall team in particular has no way to remove entry hazards and instead focuses on using and making use of (idk what this means) its own entry hazards. Chesnaught and Krookodile provide Spikes and Stealth Rock, and Sableye's Knock Off can remove Heavy-Duty Boots. Five out of the six Pokemon on the team have Heavy-Duty Boots themselves to help with the team's inability to remove entry hazards. Galarian Slowbro provides the team with a strong Calm Mind sweeper, an immunity to Toxic, and a Fairy resistance that can be helpful vs Gardevoir. Blissey counters or at least checks just about any special attacker, and with Calm Mind, it beats non-Taunt Oricorio formes and helps deal with Nasty Plot Tatsugiri and Rotom-H. Tera Dark lets Blissey beat Psyshock users like Calm Mind Armarouge, and Shadow Ball hits Ghost-types that would otherwise wall it. Sableye most importantly provides Knock Off, but it can also spinblock Forretress and Brambleghast and check setup sweepers like Slowbro with Encore. Tera Poison allows Sableye to counter Galarian Slowbro, since it will not be poisoned by Sludge Bomb. Terastallization and IronPress help Avalugg check just about every physical attacker, though it often doesn't need to Terastallize on this team. Krookodile, Staraptor, and Mudsdale are some of the physical attackers it checks without Terastallization, and with Terastallization, this extends to the likes of Paldean Tauros-W and Slither Wing. Chesnaught is really simple, as it provides Spikes plus a Wo-Chien switch-in. Tera Ghost could allow it to spinblock in a pinch. Krookodile provides three important things: a Volt Switch blocker, a fast Pokemon, and Stealth Rock. It also could sweep a weakened team with Moxie-boosted attacks. |
