This is a standard bulky offensive team relying on strong attackers paired with hazard stacking. Stonjourner, Swalot, and Toedscool form the defensive backbone of the team, checking most of the biggest threats in the tier reliably and controlling hazards. Stonjourner can check most physical attackers, set up Stealth Rock, and threaten the opposing team with IronPress. Swalot absorbs Toxic Spikes and sets its own, can be hard to take out thanks to its awesome bulk, and notably handles Grass-types that take advantage of Stonjourner, Toedscool, and Wugtrio. Toedscool brings a lot of utility with its Electric immunity and Spikes, Rapid Spin, and Knock Off support; Tera Dark with Foul Play also makes it more reliable against Banette and Psychic-types like Grumpig and Gothitelle. Raboot makes good use of these hazards with its ability to threaten opposing Toedscool and chip down the opposing team with U-turn. Wugtrio is able to take advantage of many Raboot answers such as Sandygast, Stonjourner, and Fletchinder and brings speed control as the fastest unboosted Pokemon in the tier. Grumpig rounds up the team by taking advantage of Mareanie, which handles both Wugtrio and Raboot, and helping with Psychic-types with a very threatening Substitute + Nasty Plot set.
