Other Silly Things You've Seen On The OU Ladder: V2

People should stop playing that TwitchPlaysPokemon. I am glad there aren't as many Pigeots running around as well. At least Flareon...Nevermind.

Ladder Fantasy VII: Sephiroth Kills Red XIII

- Dusclops vs Dusclops...sigh. Seriously? Needless to say, neither of them amounted to much of anything.
- Donphan vs Donphan. See above.
- Focus Sash Ferrothorn.
- Quick Claw Noivern.
- Your opponent is running a mono-Bug team where the closest thing to an answer to Fire is Volcarona. Said Volcarona has used Quiver Dance and KOed a mon with Fiery Dance, and so has +2 SpA +1 SpD +1 Spe. You have a Ditto. Hmm, what should we switch in here? Oh, I know, how about Cloyster.
- Brick Break Aegislash.
- Outrage Charizard...without a mega stone.
- Sap Sipper non-Banded Azumarill with Ice Punch and no Play Rough. Even that 10% miss chance isn't an excuse, because they gave it Aqua Tail.
- Physical Mega Blastoise with Outrage.
- Frenzy Plant Torterra TWO Frenzy Plant Torterra. This is starting to wear on my sanity.
- Energy Ball + Dazzling Gleam Whimsicott.
- Koffing.
- "Gardevoir traced the opposing Cloyster's Shell Armor! The opposing Cloyster floats in the air with its Air Balloon!" Okey dokey then.
- Said Gardevoir had Dazzling Gleam, too.
- Focus Punch Quick Claw Gengar.
- Iron Head Milotic.
- Aerial Ace Salamence.
- Thunder Fang Hydreigon.
- ChestoRest Deoxys-Speed with Hidden Power Ice. Why.
- Mega Charizard X with the following moves: Flamethrower / Dragon Pulse / Dragon Claw / Iron Tail.
- Boldore.
- Energy Ball and Giga Drain on the same Venusaur.
- Acrobatics and Brave Bird on the same Talonflame.
- Speaking of Acrobatics, giving it to Leftovers Eelektross...not the best of ideas.
- Dark Pulse Weavile. You know, dear, that physical/special split happened over six years ago. And it predates Weavile. "slowpoke.png" doesn't even BEGIN to cover it.
- And then the next match I watch has a Ferrothorn with Energy Ball. How did my desk get that head-shaped crack in it? And what was I doing this morning?

lol, you're talking about Raptor's team. Raptor himself is referring to how his Talonflame got over its confusion and killed two of the opponent's Mons at the +2 it was given, and really weakening a third.

It starts out normal, but then we get to a few oddities:
  • King's Rock Aegislash. Sad thing is, it flinched me on my recovery turn and would have KO'd me if it hit again.
  • Alakazam without Magic Guard. It got KO'd because of it.

-Pidgeot.
-Flame Charge+Extreme Speed Arcanine.
-Foul Play+Dragon Pulse Krookodile. Also with an Apicot Berry.
-Registeel trying to Thunder Wave a Ninjask that had a sub up.
-Espeon without Magic Bounce. It also had Zen Headbutt.
-Machamp with both Dynamicpunch and Brick Break.
-Dragon Dance+Dragon Pulse+Draco Meteor Salamence.
-Of all the dragons you could use on a mono dragon team, why Druddigon?
-Itemless Magnezone.
-Earthquake Latios. Well, that's one way to get around Heatran.
-BLOOD TOTEM (also, another Dark Pulse Krookodile): http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-93564146
-Togekiss attempting to paraflinch a Jirachi to death. How ironic. The problem was, Jirachi was at +6 thanks to CM spam, and when it was able to move, killed Togekiss with Flash Cannon.
-Whole lot of nothing productive here: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/oumonotype-93562742
-Aguav Berries, Bright Powders, and Metronome fails: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-93560833
-If you're going to use Bellyzard-X, you might want to get rid of faster stuff. Like scarfed Darmanitan with Rock Slide.
-Corphish.
-Gyro Ball Glalie. Against Mawile. Actually, Glalie ever.
-Not particularly silly, but Hypnosis missing 3 times in a row is just unfortunate.
-Shed Shell Skarmory. I didn't realize that was still a thing.
-Passing attack boosts to a Foul Play Umbreon.
-Toxic Orb Granbull. Wait, it gets Quick Feet.
-Kingler.
-Mixed non-mega Charizard.
-Non-sashed Alakazam that got outsped by a Megachomp.
-Special M-Gyarados.
-Thunder+Sky Drop Dragonite.
-Thunderpunch+Dragon Claw+Seismic Toss non-mega Charizard.

Druddigon can set up Stealth Rocks and unlike Tyrantrum, has viable Special Defence. Also ability to Glare opponent and hit with priority. That differs it from Garchomp.
