Bug Reports v2.0 (READ OP BEFORE POSTING!!)

Oh my gosh, I'm sorry about that! That was my old team from a while ago. I guess my new team didn't save and I just didn't notice. Thank you...

And apparently I was running Landorus with no EVs at all. No wonder he seemed to be doing so little for me. This team still got me to almost 1500 haha.

I've got another maybe bug. Gengar uses Destiny Bond. Bisharp breaks Gengar's Focus Sash, but faints due to Leech Seed. Thundurus comes out and 1 shots Gengar with HP Ice, and then gets killed by the Destiny Bond. However, Gengar has yet to move. The Destiny Bond should have been from the last turn, and not kill Thundurus.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-131896571 Move 26.

I use Showdown for play testing and practicing for VGC. Still, I can't get a good look at how viable a team is when my pledge combos get screwed up all the time. Major problems:

1) When Greninja uses its pledge first while the pledge goes into Protect, it changes typing. This doesn't happen in the game since it didn't actually attack, but the second pokemon does.

2) If the second pokemon faints from a priority move, the second pokemon doesn't do anything. The expected result is an unboosted pledge.

I have a replay of the second glitch in action. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Fixed

We know pledge moves don't work quite right on Pokemon Showdown as of yet. I'm not sure if the mechanics of pledge moves are fully understood ingame, either.

That said, you can avoid this bug and likely net even more wins by simply not using pledge moves. They're bad.

Terrains aren't supposed to stack together like in this replay. In-game, terrain moves are overwritten by other terrain moves.

This should not matter much in competitive play. But since I have plans for developing a new metagame involving weather and terrain switching, this can pose a problem.

Although I do not have a replay for Rest not working when all other terrains are up, here's a video demonstrating the terrains.

EDIT: Graphical glitch

That's just a visual bug. It should be fixed soon though.

In smogon doubles Ditto can't use transform on anything and only has the option to struggle. I looked back a few pages and didn't see anything on this issue but I just glaced so if its already been reported just ignore this.

EDIT: Not a bug (Assault Vest)

Not a bug. Also, why would you use Limber Assault Vest Ditto?
Because experimenting is actually a fun part of Pokemon battling and so is surprising your opponents. =| Anyway: Thanks for the quick reply, guess it'd be nice to suggest to have it banned with Limber on that battle type since it's literally unusable.

Why would it be banned if it isn't broken/overpowered?

I don’t think you get it… Assault Vest stops you from using status moves, Transform is a status move, so you’re not gonna be able to use it with Assault Vest. Assault Vest is used on bulky attackers such as Kingdra or Conkeldurr.

Found 2 Bugs. IDK if the first one has been fixed yet, since it happened a couple of weeks ago:

Bug 1:
Replay: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/vgc2014-125155200

Turn 2: I volt switch out raichu to kingdra, after poli switched due to an eject button. I swap poli back in, and poli uses scald, when it shouldn't have.

Bug 2:
Replay: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/vgc2014-132930065

Turn 2: I volt switch and assurace the mega gengar, which are both redirected to amoonguss' rage powder. Volt switch goes off and raichu switches. Assurance hits amoonguss, but does way less damage than it should have done. It does less than an iron head from a previous hit on amoonguss (See turn 1). After, I checked a damage calculator and this is what I got:

252+ Atk Bisharp Assurance (60 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Amoonguss: 51-60 (23 - 27.1%)
252+ Atk Bisharp Assurance (120 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Amoonguss: 99-117 (44.7 - 52.9%)

The second one is on an opponent who is hurt earlier in the turn (In this case volt switch). The damage taken be the amoonguss is when assurance is base 60, when in fact it should be base 120, due to volt switch

EDIT: Confirmed

2 replay bugs that didn’t appear in the actual match (I think): http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/randombattle-133158310

Mega Hera’s bench sprite stays on after death, Mega Ampha’s sprite goes small all of a sudden.

Edit: I’ve only now found out that it only happens on second viewing. I went through the whole match at “fast” speed, then did “reset”, played it again, and the glitches happen. Edit: you don’t need to sit through it, simply skipping to the end, resetting, then skipping to the glitched turns will make the glitches appear.

I have a bug report. I don't know if it goes here but my Showdown! name is Poké Professor but the 'é' no longer renders on the site.
It used to but now it does not.

Pok Professor sounds pretty dumb. Is there any way to fix this?

Also it has been confirmed to me that others also see it as Pok Professor.

EDIT: Not a bug (name filter)

If a pokemon with sheer force ability with a Life Orb call a move boosted by sheer force using Sleep Talk, it loses the hp from the Life Orb. I don't know if this is correct, but i don't really think so.
