Little Cup Conquest​

Background:

The challenge is a "survival war" in which everyone will receive a team of four random Pokemon of varying rankings in the LC Viability Rankings Thread. From there, players can challenge other registered players to unrated LC battles in an attempt to "snag" their Pokemon. If a player wins, they have the opportunity to take two of the loser's Pokemon and use them in future battles. The loser will then be stuck two Pokemon short. Once a player runs out of non-D-rank Pokemon, they are out of the challenge. The last player standing wins.

Challenging:

Players can challenge any other registered players at any time. This means that all active participants should hang around on #littlecup or in the PS LC room as much as possible or post their usual availability in the comments below. You cannot refuse a challenge unless you have a good reason for doing so. Three days without activity (unless you have a reasonable excuse) will result in a disqualification from the challenge. If any trouble occurs from "johning" or reluctance in general, please contact Champion Fizz, QuoteCS, or TCR. Also, if you lose to your opponent, you must wait 24 hours before rechallenging them. However, if the winner and loser both decide that an immediate rematch is acceptable, they can battle again.

When challenging, both players are allowed a few minutes to teambuild around the other’s Pokemon. For example, if someone has all Fire-types for some reason, and the challenger has a Staryu, they will need to be pretty creative to beat them. All players and their current Pokemon will be displayed below (will be made after registration) that will be updated as frequently as possible.

Before each match starts, both players will declare what TWO Pokemon of the other’s that they desire (this number might be raised as opponents fall). These are what you are fighting over. After a match, I expect both players to comment in this thread stating who won and what two Pokemon were transferred. I also encourage you to post replays for our entertainment.

No matter how many Pokemon you have remaining, you are allowed any D-rank Pokemon. This means that players with only two Pokemon can select any D-rank Pokemon to fill the void, and players with four Pokemon can fill up to six. Players with six Pokemon can also utilize D-rank Pokemon, but there should be no reason to.

Note: Starter Pokémon will be randomized but if someone turns out too overpowered or weak, adjustments will be made.
