Dark Type Pokemon are immune to the effects of Prankster boosted moves. In this case, Sableye's Will O Wisp is Prankster boosted. If he mega evolved, he would be able to burn you as normal. The is a Sun/Moon mechanic change.
I thought something was wrong when Scrafty was immune to Prankster Thundurus Thunder Wave. Didn't know that change, thank you.

My Dragon-type Arceus in random battle was encored to use Earthquake; but the Z-move option was there, I tried to use Devastating Drake (was an option) and it used the Ground Z move, despite having the Dragon z crystal

So uhh... Eevee can use Extreme Evoboost even after its been taunted. I assume this is a bug, for EE is a status move. I suspect the battle engine may only see the physical movetype of EE's source move, Last Resort, so it bypasses the taunt status condition.

It's Z-Status: they cannot, to my knowledge, be taunted.
E:
"Can a Pokemon use a Z-status move if they're taunted?"
Surprisingly, yes.

Instruct should fail if it is used on a Z-move: (Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGGseNmbBU0 This is already listed on the S/M OP of the Mechanics Research thread.)

However, as you can see here (turn 2 of Replay): http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7vgc2017-491408945, instead of failing, Instruct calls on the base move of the Z-move.

Turn 2 I deal damage with Phantom Force then use Instruct to use Phantom Force again to become semi-invulnerable. Turn 3 I could select and use any move. This shouldn't be possible, right?
I don't think that the restrictions on Instruct have been coded yet; they're probably pending full research.

Found a bug with pixelate Sylveon and breakneck blitz (most likely works with other normal type changing moves too) - it shows up as a fairy move but deals normal damage http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-492470387 http://prntscr.com/dgvyr4 Not game changing at all but it's still a bug :)

Edit: You can see quick attack still hits Chandelure, showing that it does have pixelate

Edit 2: I know it shouldn't affect the Z Move's type but it is showing up as a fairy move (in the attack selection screen) which is not intended.

-ate does not effect z-moves, so it stayed normal type. This is not a bug. The only issue is in the client, which shows it as fairy.

At least in Random Battles, if you choose a move and change it before your opponent moves, it picks the first move you picked.
So, for example, let's say you and your Raichu picked Focus Miss Focus Blast and you quickly change to Thunderbolt. The prompt says Raichu will use Thunderbolt next. When it is your turn, Focus Blast comes out, despite all the information to the contrary.

My Monotype team is no longer valid because "Ondag (Turtonator)'s item Custap Berry is unreleased" despite the fact that before today I could use the team, and that Custap Berry was released in gen IV.

Custap Berries can't be found in Sun and Moon, and there's no way to transfer items from previous generations, even through the Pokebank.

So I encountered a fairly gamebreaking bug the other day that could use some fixing. In the picture below, I had just knocked out the opponents Scizor, but instead of making me wait while y opponent chose his next pokemon, it forced me to chose a move, as if my opponent already had a pokemon out. I am unsure of what was happening on my opponent's end, but I think it is clear that something was preventing him from choosing his next pokemon. In the end, the clock ran out and I was given the win (not really thee way one wishes to win).

Uhhh I haven't even touched the cartridge yet but I played a match with some funky mechanics. I went to use a Cutiefly's Moonblast with a Fairy Z-Crystal and got Encore'd, which resulted in Cutiefly being locked into Quiver Dance and using a Z-Quiver Dance (even though the Z-Crystal is Fairy). Is that accurate?
I also found the same bug. Jumpluff had Grassium Z and was locked into Acrobatics. Despite not having the Flying Z-Crystal, it still used the Flying Z-Move

Shedinja got poisoned by toxic in the last turn of this battle when misty terrain should have prevented it from being poisoned. https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pokebankdoublesou-492773508
While GnralLao mostly answered this, the reason is that during the semi-invulnerable turn of Fly, Dig, or in this case Phantom Force, the pokemon is no longer affected by Terrain, so when Toxapex poisoned Shedinja during that semi-invulnerable turn (being able to due to being a poison type) it was because Shedinja was not under the effects of Misty Terrain at that point.

(Note: I was Test alt MaM SM in the replay)
So in Mix and Mega, I use Greninja and faint a pokemon to transform Ash-Greninja. But after that when I mega evolve, it reverts to normal Greninja and only applies the blastoisinite stat changes to normal Greninja (when I hovered over Greninja after the mega evo, it had 377 speed, which is regular Greninja's max speed and water shuriken only hit 2 times). Ash-greninja shouldn't revert if its ability it changed (i.e. Mummy), so I don't think this is supposed to happen.
