Thanks for the response -- already managed to upload a Poke to pokecheck in order to get Secret ID. :)

I'm sure this is answered somewhere, but I was wondering if Red Gyarados can be used to determine the Secret ID as described in this guide, or if his shininess is different than something you would find under normal circumstances.

1. Pokecheck.org instructions are self-explanatory. Use pokegts.us/ to dl them w/o ribbons.
2. If this is for online random wifi triples, you're going to get a lot of legit disconnects and then a lot of people just saying "I don't want to spend 20 minutes on this."...
