They key to the battle is to keep Celebi alive. As long as Celebi is alive and I can keep Salamence covered, I have the advantage. That's easier said than done because of how well the other team is constructed. The most indecisive period of the battle for me was when I had Milotic in against Celebi. It's quite a dilemma to decide: Do I exchange Dugtrio for Celebi? If I do, I lose to his Dugtrio. That would require me to keep Celebi well guarded. If I don't, I am at risk for having my entire team trapped. It was a huge blow that I didn't get the OHKO on Celebi. That would give him a free switch at any point later in the match. Turn 32 would prove to be pivotal, as I recklessly sent in Celebi after my Dugtrio went down. He switched directly to Milotic, giving me the desperate Recover I needed. Had he switched to his Celebi, I would have been unable to move as his Celebi fell. The result would have been a free switch to Dugtrio to eliminate my Celebi.
Now that my Celebi was in good health and I had my coverage against Salamence intact, I was feeling much better about the game. Shortly thereafter, Bluewind would force his Snorlax into battle. Knowing that he did not have Earthquake at this point, I went to Tyranitar. Since he didn't use Curse, I was presented with two options: (1) I could Rock Slide for maximum damage or (2) I could Pursuit in the event that he does not want to risk my Tyranitar's set, which I had kept hidden until this point. By Pursuiting, I could ensure that almost anything on my team could finish it off at a later point. I was fortunate that he switched most of all, since a Curse there would put me into a situation where I would need to risk Celebi. The critical hit was an added bonus to guessing correctly. At this point the only thing left standing was Milotic, where he was unlucky in missing Toxic while getting hit by my own Toxic. It's a shame something like that change the perception of a battle well fought. It ultimately came down to a few key turns throughout where I was able to pull through.
