False Sense

I win a fair share of my battles. As for my experience, I've been playing competitively since Black and White first came out, so I suppose I've got a fair share of knowledge.

My main strength is creating individual sets, rather than whole teams.

First off, I am from Serebii. I've been a leader of quite a number of groups there in the past. When it comes to gaming, Pokemon is my main choice of the day.

Currently, I'm in the US Navy, and have been in it since this December. Right now, I'm also the leader of Assassin's Alliance, which is another social group that's been gaining momentum lately.

As for why I wish to join, I am looking for other good groups to sponsor and partner up with, as well as contribute to. I figure that the more people I get to meet, the more I can both learn from and teach others.

Ok just giving you a quick update. The trip was to Boston, and due to the current state of affairs there the trip is canceled. So if you have anything else you would like to ask, feel free.

This may or may not be my last post until Monday, but yes, I would be an active contributor to the group.

I haven't been able to watch it much. The internet at my school sucks, and I'm super busy (I shouldn't even be on right now, but I am because I'm bad at doing work haha). But I finished episode 3.

Hey I would like to join this Smogon creators organization.

I may be young, but I can definitely hold my own in OU. I have peaked somewhere around 1850 with one team I was working with. Most of my other teams have hit the 1500s, 1600s, and 1700s at least once, but then I would lose a battle and fall down. Currently, my latest RmT would be around that range or even higher, but only if PS didn't give me +3 every win and -10 for 1 loss.

I have extensive knowledge about the metagame, and I usually am testing out unorthdox sets on teams and odd choices for teammates (Lando I and Weavile for example).

I have been competitive for about 8 months, but I knew all about Excadrill's absurd power and Thundurus Incarnate trolling everyone with Nasty Plot + Thunderbolt.

I would love to help out on some projects and even offer ideas (a few months back I had a Ferrothorn set that i featured in one RMT but never really got recognition, because the RMT got few replies).

I am also open to suggestions on how to further strengthen my ideas so one day they might be featured on the analysis!

I’d say I’m pretty good. I’m by no means the best, but I think I can hold my own. I know quite a bit about the metagame but not as much as others because of the experience gap. Anything I don’t know I’m sure I can learn from the group. Thanks.

P.S I’ll be on a field trip for school over the weekend, including tomorrow, so if I don’t respond in a timely manner that would be why. Thanks for understanding.

Well, firstly I have been a competitive player for about a year, with a bit of a hiatus in the middle. Now, the competitive game is my favorite pastime, and I have a new love for the Smogon forums. I would like to join because I think I would like to discuss and have a good time in the group, and perhaps even help on some projects. I also feel that being in the group will expose me to the community I love, and help me meet members of this community.

Huh...I didn't know that about him. I could never join the military, but if that's what he wants to do after school, then I totally support him. Either way, I'll miss him. Still, I feel like he would want us to just continue as if nothing had changed.

Anyway, yeah I really hope he comes back Monday. But military work? That's awful!

I was just about to VM you the same thing...I don't even know how to react to this. He was like the older brother to all of us (though I'm almost positive I'm actually older than him). What are we going to do? Who will run the tournaments? Who will make subtle jabs at Tabuu? Who will write awesome analyses? It's gonna be really different without him.

Yes, I would be active. However, I do have a busy schedule. I will be as active as I can; to be honest, I do not make smogon a # 1 priority X3 I am dealing with a lot. But I will be as active as I can be :3
