    Yo Layell, normally I'd get on IRC for this sort of shit but apparently my hard drive hates me... anyway, checked the list in the XY thread, and it appears http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/national is using the mad old gen6 sprites without permission. Unless you just forgot to list them and they also forgot to update for weeks.

    It actually is on there somewhere but it's really obscure last time I checked.
    It was just that the one line seemed insulting to those of us who actually prefer PS to Smogon (such as myself). The rest of what you wrote was fine though. And even this one line is just my opinion.

    At first I couldn't really get what you meant with an exact palette swap for Shinies, but I think it means the colors must be borrowed from existing Pokémon sprites. Is that the case?

    Hi, Layell, I'm hook! I run a pokemon rp forum, and I wanted to ask permission to use the sprites from the project here. Site's here: http://kohakuregion.proboards.com/ We have the project credited at the bottom of the forum already, but idk how to credit the individual spriters that don't have a DA account. Should I link their profiles on smogon?

    Also, since shiny pokemon are pretty common for us and not all the shinies are done yet, is there any policy on recoloring the sprites? Or is that something I need to contact the individual spriters about? Thanks in advance!

    Link to the project page should be fine if people are interested in individual artists. As for shinies we are getting to them when we feel the sprite are finished enough to get them. If you really need them feel free to make them.

    Just wanted to ask how you're so good at spriting etc. I use only paint and I got into it a while back and I'm just bad at spriting and freespriting

    I say outdated because it follows a ton of RSE sprites, but aside from colour choice and size of sprites that is generally the same.
    I don't know if this is beneficial at all or w/e but I have ingame pictures of the pokemon screen of the three unreleased legendaries, as in, where it shows the moves and stats and abilities. It is selected on the signature move so you can see what the moves do. I didn't take the pictures myself, b they are high quality.

    Hey Layell, I have a question regarding the XY sprite thread. Since you're the Sprite Leader, I figured I might ask you.
    You see, I have some Shiny sprites for the Mega Charizard that I want to show because of their color palettes, which I based off the XY model colors. Is it fine if I post 'em in the thread? I know the Megazard sprites aren't done yet, though.

    well I have palettes in reserve on the chart, Y is a straight copy of regular so if you feel the x version is a marked improvement there isn't much need to.

    Mega Charizard Y has a more purplish-black body color than regular Shiny Charizard, seen some videos on YT and saw a noticeable difference.
