hey everyone who is posting here: take a look at the official spreadsheet, specifically the players who got sold for 3k or 4k or even 5k. yeah, people who have won tours and are on the top of the leaderboard consistently, at least. if you fill your team with 30 people who are all 3k who are "okay" at pokemon you're going to lose all your matches. also take a look at the current bidding patterns. quality is heads over heels more important than cheap -- being cheap is just like having a cherry on top at this point.
