Stupid things i saw on the OU ladder :


choice banded Donphan, with rollout

confuse ray, toxic, venoshock, protect tentacruel

lucario using close combat on my gourgeist


a guy randomly forfeiting after my gourgeist burned his mega-scizor


guy with a rain team forfeiting after i sent out my ludicolo


guy with a standard OU team forfeiting after i sent out my cradily and took only 22% on his garchomp's fire fang.


focus sash salamence


an other guy forfeiting on my soooooo scary cradily


outrage on mega abomasnow


A guy tried to thunder my whimsicot. And i had a light screen.

He then tried to trick my ludicolo as i was behind a sub, twice in a row, and he forfeited...


scarfed mew with u-turn, metronome and explosion

Donphan: Rollout is weird but Donphan can throw around earthquakes and not care about much besides immunities. I've heard worse ideas.
Tentacruel: Little odd but it seems like a fairly effective stall-type set, though I'd think something besides Venoshock would be better in slot 3.
Lucario: No comment.
Burned MSciz forfeit: Lots of people forfeit after losing their Megas low on the ladder. If you play wifi battles at all, you'll see a lot of MKhan/MLuke/MGengar/MBlaziken and a lot of forfeits or DCs if they go down.
Ludicolo: Ludicolo is a boss
Cradily: No comment (probably scarfed; if it was his last pokemon I'd understand. Fire Fang in general is just probably not good.)
Salamence: No comment
Cradily: No comment
Outrage Mega Abomasnow: No comment
Whimsicot: No comment
Ludicolo trick: Low on ladders a lot of people don't understand sub mechanics. also run into this a lot with magic bounce/coat. I've gotten many forfeits at low ranking by bouncing hazards.
Mew: That's... huh.
Mixed galvantula: yeah. hah.
Confuse Ray Rotom-H: I got nothing. Confuse is just people's happy snuggly toy these days I guess.
Physical/Mixed Dedenne: Dedenne in general. Lulz.
mr mime: wat
hax user ragequit: most people who rely on the hax strats are actually not super good, it's a classical example of something that's harder to counter than it is to carry off, so lots of them don't have backup plans or the knowledge or experience to react when the hax strat falls apart.

Random Shit volume 65: Normal Type Coverage Edition
-Aerial Ace Y-zard. Finally, something Air Slash is better than.
-Electro Ball M-Ampharos. Because 45 base speed is an excuse to use it.
-Riolu.
-Double-Edge Garchomp.
-Weak Armor Skarmory with Iron Defense.
-An Ursaring that apparently had never heard of status orb abuse. It had a Quick Claw. And Mega Kick.
-Dragon Breath Goodra.
-Body Slam Pangoro.
-Passing CM boosts to a physical Darmanitan that had Roar.
-Copycat Azumarill.
-Rest+Sleep Talk+Sub+Thunder Fang M-Mawile.
-Said Mawile and the Ditto that Impostered it failing to count sleep turns.
-Acrobatics+Night Slash Scizor.
-Politoed using Perish Song while being the last Pokemon up.
-Dragon Claw normal Aerodactyl.
-Rotom-W taking Gliscor's Toxic Orb after it had activated. Then it got knocked off.
-X-zard using Dragon Claw on Azumarill.
-Another Azumarill had Return. And it still managed to 6-0 the opponent.
-Brick Break+Aerial Ace Salamence.
-X-Scissor Pangoro. It later used Sludge Bomb on a Mawile.
-Slowking using Psychic on said Pangoro.
-I've seen MixApe, but never one with HP Ice.
-Tentacruel with no item.
-Azumarill failing to understand that Jellicent usually has Water Absorb.

To be fair, BellyZard was a thing back before he was actually usable he got his Megas, nowadays... No. Also Giga Impact Chandlelure. At least put Hyper Beam on x.x

I was laddering earlier today in Ubers with a FEAR Rattata on my team. Didn't really expect to get anywhere, especially since I hadn't really played Ubers ever before.
I almost hit the top 500. Half of the matches I played, I only used FEAR Rattata; they ragequit after it killed something every time.

This is the ou ladder thread, and that isn't saying much, as most of the ubers players suck midway and lower on the ladder.

Well, Ubers doesn't really have a thread for their funny stuff, so I figured I might as well post it here. Sorry if I was wrong. And I am aware that Ubers players aren't that good midway through, I had no idea it was this bad until I tried it.

Unfortunately, I can't remember who their sixth member was. The team did not last long, being largely wrecked by a single Ferrothorn with leech seed and protect.
