Welcome to the Overused tier Team Showcase! This is where you can post your teams, but not for critique, but for showcasing! This thread will obviously consist of high level known teams and underrated teams. Anyways how this will work is this:
- A user puts the team in a format (that I will post later)
- Then they post the team
- Every sunday I will take the best teams showcased in this thread and compile them in the OP and keep them there
- Do not post your team if you're planning to use it in a big tour and/or do not want to get counter teamed
- Do not post your team if you're afraid it will be stolen
- The purpose of this thread is to showcase good teams to the public
- This is not for critique, if your posting it like you want or need it (i.e. "help plz") your post will be deleted
please try not to make your team in all bold unless your computers formatting crashed, in that case, please edit your post once you have the time and/or a stable computer to do so.Team Name: x

Weavile Offense Alpha- by Monte Cristo
This team is the best offense team I've ever built in XY(yes, I am a stall player). Anyways this team revolves around Pursuit weavile and it's huge ability to pursuit or knock off latis before they can even make a move. This team features the infamous Charizard Y + Keldeo core which is used along with weavile to minimize counters to all of them. Hidden Power [Electric] Keldeo is rare, but on this team it serves a good purpose in order to OHKO regular Gyarados trying to switch and set up on Keldeo (before it megas) and 2HKOs standard CB Azumarill or even prevent Belly Drum Azumarill from setting up. Keldeo is also amazing on this team as it eases the Bisharp weakness (incase Mandibuzz fails me).Charizard Y threatens Mega Venusaur and many other bulky pokemon threatening the Weavile-Keldeo core. And in general is one of the best wallbreakers to this date and appreciates pursuit Weavile's ability to threaten Chansey and OHKO Lati@s. The EVs on Weavile are very key as it outspeeds Thundurus and OHKOs with Ice Shard if it is in the 70-76% range, While leaving the rest into bulk in order to live random stuff like (weakened because staying in on Lucario normally is a death trap) Lucario Extremespeed. Anyways the defense core of this team is extremely venemous as between them little physical attackers can muscle through the might of Mandiguss. Especially with rocky helmet. As this team was used to achieve 1200 Elo and 1700 Coil (before I switched to using stall) on the OU suspect ladder, I had to have a DeoSHarp counter, and Mandibuzz can take any 2 +2 hits from Bisharp and Foul PLay + Roost to victory while Taunting and Defogging on the aforementioned Deoxys-D. It's also a great answer to non BoltBeam Deoxys-S which helped while laddering. Amoong is my great answer to Mawile, Azumarill and others. Anyways we get to the last pokemon, Scarf Latias, a rare sight among OU, but it sure as hell is effective. I first realized that, in a ladder full of DeoSharp, Defog is the worst set on Latias. Anyways upon this realization I also noticed my weakness to Mega-Pinsir and Mega Charizard X (eh, Mandi can check them but I added Mandibuzz last) which, with Latias' bulk (lives +2 quick attack while Latios can potentially die, especially with SR) and speed (w/ scarf it can revenge kill Deoxys-Speed, wow RKing Deo-S, what an odd sound that has to it) and great STAB, plus healing wish really helps with getting a secondary Char Y, Keldeo or even Weavile swep. Overall a nice team that I used to get 1700 COIL in order to transition into using stall for suspect reqs.

Even though Drizzle being limited to 8 turns is a disappointment for Politoed, but the return of Swift Swim makes its a blessing in disguise. Bulky Deoxys-S has a niche over max speed Deoxys-S is the ability to always get up rocks and Rain against lead TTars. Deoxys-S also outspeeds both Charizards so that it can always get RD + SR against them. Kingdra and Kabutops are the poster boys of Rain Offense so they are pretty much needed. Kingdra runs enough EVs so that it doesn't get revenge killed by the rare Scarf Latios. 40 Atk to OHKO Thundurus-I with Waterfall if it comes in after Draco Meteor. Low Kick on Kabutops rather than Aqua Jet because even +2 Aqua Jet outside of rain is pretty weak, and in rain, it is fast enough to use Waterfall effectively, Low Kick on the otherhand, eliminates opposing Ferrothorns which are a great threat to Rain offense. Politoed is a must because manual rain teams are automatically at a disadvantage against opposing weather teams. Rain hyper offense usually doesn't need Politoed in more than twice, so offensive Politoed is opted for to break down opposing Venusaur and Ferrothorns to make life easier. Tornadus-I allows the team to defeat opposing Rain teams with Tailwind or go for a sweep of its own with the strongest unboosted Hurricane in the game. Scizor serves as the glue to the team, walling Aegislash, grass types and Sand offense while providing momentum against them.
Rain offense completely relies on momentum to work so it is ideal to make every move one that grabs momentum. Deoxys is the standard lead against everything except (anticipared) Prankster Taunt leads, almost guaranteeing both an SR and RD up before going down. Against Aegislash leads, get SR up, then go to Politoed to Encore the anticipated King's Shield (or go for the Scald), and then get another free switch. Politoed should be kept alive until opposing Tyranitar/Hippowdon dies, with switches to Scizor. Scizor is the standard check to all Sand sweepers in general, and to bulky grasses etc. Against faster teams which I have a bad matchup against, I like to save Kingdra till the end because many players expect Kingdra to not carry RD of its own, usually netting me a surprise sweep with Kabutops at the end

Since we all know Deoxys is soon to be banned from ou, and I wanted to play hyper offense still, I built this team around another good hazard layer: Shuckle. This team should always lead off with shuckle, (or a counter to your opponents shuckle counter), so that you can almost always ensure your opponents side has either stealth rocks or sticky web up. Sticky web allows for some slower pokemon on this team to function well, since they won't be outsped by certain threats anymore. Bisharp is my key defog blocker and main setup sweeper. I can threaten my opponent to not defog in fear of raising Bisharp to +2 which is incredibly scary. And since I will most of the time have the +1 speed advantage (sticky web) I felt safe with adamant. Aegislash is my spin blocker and main special attacker. The air balloon can prevent excadrill from being able to touch me, and excadrill is really the only viable spinner besides maybe starmie. I noticed at this point my large weakness to charizard-y as well as Conkeldurr. So I went with azumarill. Assault vest Azumarill allows me to tank a solar beam at around 30% and finish off with waterfall+Aqua jet. I went with superpower over knock off in fear of ferrothorn. Then I decided I wanted more pokemon that benefit from sticky web so I chose one of the best stall breakers and setup sweepers in the meta: Landorus. Landorus would usually be stopped by keldeo and greninja whom I can now beat with sticky web support. The other biggest checks are the latis whom are shutdown by aegislash and are defog bait for Bisharp. My last pokemon is starptor, whom is my nuke mon. With sticky web up I can safely run a choice band and literally nuke everything. I chose final gambit over double edge because I tend not to even use double edge, and final gambit can get me out of situations I would otherwise be threatened in, such as Mega Mawile. I tested this team mainly in the suspect ladder for the deoxys brothers.

Some of my favorite Pokemon are not used much for various reasons, no reliable recovery, bad stats, bad typing, outclassed, etc. For this reason I wanted to minimize those flaws as much as possible and made this full stall team in their honor.
Stunfisk is a specially defensive wall and my main lead as it can reliably set up hazards on a number of leads. It has very respectable bulk and has the coveted electric typing that most stall teams can't afford to run (Zapdos is literally the only other good stallish electric type :/). Discharge can be ran over Thunderbolt if you know you will be playing offense or the sort but generally the small boost in power helps from Thunderbolt.
Mantine is another lesser used stall type mon mainly because of its bad defensive typing and the fact that it doesn't have reliable recovery despite it being a carbon copy of Skarmory stat wise (gj gamefreak...). It's main job on the team is to provide an answer to common stall threats such as Landorus or Keldeo. It has great synergy with Stunfisk and pairs well with Skarmory as they have the same stats just from different ends of the spectrum.
Now onto the boring, standard, fat ass mons that you all are used to seeing. First up is Skarmory. It is my main answer to offensive powerhouses like Landorus-Therian or Garchomp and pairs well with Mantine to provide a duo-Defog core. Originally I had Stealth Rock on over Whirlwind but I was really in need of a phazer and had Stunfisk chllin' with hazards already. I'm in love with Counter Skarmory atm because it is amazing against outrage spam, Azumarill, and Bisharp who might start causing trouble if I let them set up.
Clefable is my Unaware mon and my fairy. It helps out with Heal Bell to wake up Mantine and Stunfisk as they always seem to over sleep when I need them ?_? Flamethrower is to net surprise KO's on Scizor, Ferrothorn, and Skarmory as more often than not they believe I don't have it. Unaware is so valuable right now that you pretty much can't build a stall team without one. Set-up sweepers are just devastating in this meta and unready teams just get popped. Clefable is also my main answer to Kyurem-b as the rest of the team gets hit pretty hard by him. If it doesn't have Iron Head and doesn't get haxxed (big IF on the latter point) I can win 1v1.
Chansey is pretty much a staple on stall, but on semi stall it can be replaced with a nice n clean Mega Charizard X. It's on my team because it's wish supports are godly, it's fat af so it helps wall a lot, and Natural Cure helps a ton in stall vs stall games. Heal Bell is somewhat optional as Clefable also has it but with two Pokemon without reliable recovery by themselves and a third who hates residual damage it can be risky. Toxic / Thunder Wave usually replaces it if need be.
Lastly I was in need of a mega and a grass type. Mega Venusaur fit the bill perfectly so it was added pretty quickly. Having a secondary counter to Keldeo and Azumarill is also amazingly useful and Leech Seed support helps with its lack of passive sustainability. Sludge Bomb is interchangeable with HP Fire but so far I haven't needed to use it when I have Flamethrower Clefable. HP Fire allows beat Ferrothorn and gives you a way to hit Skarmory, but is generally exclusive to balanced teams as opposed to stall.
