Countless days passed, and the mountain was still without a king. The final trainer, Wepwn, had not even had to defeat anyone yet. However, that all changed, when one day, FLCL decided to challenge the mountain. Swiftly and gracefully, he danced his way around the mountain's fearsome trainers, making them all look like mere puppets in his grand scheme. Without hesitation, he dispatched all of them with relative ease. Just when Wepwn was getting bored, FLCL appeared before him, unscathed and ready to finally conquer this deadly monster. Wepwn was originally terrified, as defeating this hellish trainer 3 times in a row would be a tremendous task for anyone to undergo. When FLCL first challenged the 20% lord, he hurriedly made up an excuse in order to train his precious Pokemon some more.

[16:00:42] <%flcl> wepwn.
[16:00:43] <%flcl> mountain.
[16:00:48] <%wepwn> my moms home
[16:00:50] <%wepwn> bye bros
[16:00:52] * %wepwn (wepwn@synIRC-21E782E9.cpe.net.cable.rogers.com) Quit (Quit: )
[16:00:58] <%flcl> sike im still in class

However, soon, he was finally prepared to face his fears, and was ready to take down FLCL and salvage the mountain from the wrath of this deadly player. Their battle could be perfectly summed up by the following graphic:

Brimming with confidence, Wepwn was crushed mercilessly and effortlessly by FLCL. He was just no match for this Pokemon God, who had managed to defeat the entire mountain without a loss. The question remains, can anyone defeat this dangerous assassin before time is up? Or will King FLCL retain the throne, and deny any peasants the chance to receive half-ops in the #rarelyused channel? One thing is certain: it definitely will not be easy, as one false move can spell the end of one's life.

Another day has passed, and another challenger has prevailed. Psychotic was battling ferociously through the mountain's fearsome trainers, his body mutilated as the result of his 2 defeats. However, his determination was unwavering, and he forged ahead, knowing full well the punishment he would face if he were to be defeated. As he made his way to the final trainer, Wepwn, the ghosts of those who had bit the dust during their perilous journeys circled around his head, terrifying him. The ghosts of fearsome trainers such as Pearl and Double01 were almost too much for Psychotic to handle, filling him with an intense fear that was only surpassed by his unfaltering determination to not fall to the bottom of the mountain and become a ghost himself. He reached Wepwn, who was determined to not let another trainer defeat him. Despite being faced with a difficult matchup, Psychotic forged ahead, headbutting Wepwn in the chest and knocking him unconscious. Psychotic had done it; he had reached the pinnacle of the mountain. However, just when he was about to celebrate his triumphant victory, FLCL manifested in front of him, ready to knock this hard-working trainer down to the bottom. FLCL had not even lost a battle in his trek up the mountain, and his confidence terrified Psychotic. However, the latter would not back down, determined to beat this unstoppable monster. Who will win this showdown and become the sole king of the mountain? Only time will tell...

FLCL's undefeated mountain run had been challenged by a badly injured trainer known as Psychotic. FLCL was obviously in much better condition than Psychotic, his confidence shining radiantly at the pinnacle of the mountain. However, he knew that he could not let his guard down, as Psychotic's pure determination and willpower could be enough to knock FLCL into the pebbles below, ending his mountain run in utter failure despite the amazing grace and skill he showed up to this point. Even so, his confidence would not falter, guiding him into a mindset that could only lead to the utter destruction of his foe. In their first fight, Psychotic attempted to circumvent the rules of the mountain, suddenly bringing forth a knife and attempting to stab his opponent with no mercy. FLCL was not one to fall for such petty tricks, however, as he swiftly evaded his opponent's deadly tool and was in prime position to knock Psychotic off of the mountain for his betrayal. However, FLCL was confident he could win even with Psychotic's cheating, dismantling him with a perfectly-timed critical hit to finish off his extremely lucky foe. In the second fight, however, Psychotic pulled out all the stops, innovating sets such as Growth Mega Abomasnow and the legendary Substitute + Slack Off + Calm Mind + Scald Slowking, a set which kept FLCL on his heels throughout the match. However, his Cobalion would not let him down, 'comin thru' with a sweep after a much-needed Iron Head flinch. And just like that, it was over. Psychotic's amazing mountain run, a run he made solely through his determination and willpower, had met its end. His body badly wounded and his determination crushed, Psychotic could not help but to retain his sportsmanship, offering a handshake to FLCL. However, the latter was not so kind, responding with the following:

After crushing the small amount of spirit Psychotic had left, FLCL gracefully kicked him off the mountain, sending Psychotic's body tumbling down a path that led to the pebbles. His mountain run over, one can only wonder whether Psychotic has the strength left in him to try again. FLCL, on the other hand, has proven to be unstoppable on this mountain, completely unscathed and free of injury at his luxurious perch at the top of the mountain. Can anyone take him down?

This is just an update. The mountain will end on Wednesday at 11:59 PM EST if no one defeats FLCL, since it will be impossible for anyone to have served longer than he has, as the official end date for the tournament is the Monday after next Monday. Anyway, I am allowing people to skip complete_legitimacy for now due to inactivity and allowing them to play him later if they make it that far.
