[OVERVIEW]

Thanks to its hidden ability, Rock Head, Tyrantrum has access to an extremely powerful Rock-type STAB move with no drawbacks in Head Smash. This, coupled with a secondary Dragon typing, good coverage for Steel-types and access to a great boosting move in Dragon Dance, turns it into a very fearsome physical attacker that can sweep, weaken physical walls, or revenge kill, depending on its set. Tyrantrum's defensive typing also gives it useful resistances to Flying, Fire, and Electric, which, when coupled with its good physical bulk, enables it to switch into Pokemon such as Talonflame. Unfortunately, Tyrantrum is relatively slow for an offensive threat, which leaves it prone to being revenge killed. Its dual STAB coverage is walled by Steel-types, which forces it to rely on coverage to hit them. It's also weak to common types such as Ground, Fighting, Dragon, and Fairy.

Moves
========

Dragon Dance enables Tyrantrum to sweep both offensive and defensive teams once its checks have been removed. Head Smash is Tyrantrum's main offensive move; it hits very hard after a boost and has no drawbacks thanks to Rock Head. Dragon Claw enables Tyrantrum to hit Garchomp and Keldeo, and acts as a reliable STAB move that can serve to finish off weakened threats without having to rely on the inaccurate Head Smash. Outrage can be used over Dragon Claw for much more power; notably, it has a chance to OHKO Keldeo at +1, but it has the unfortunate side effect of locking Tyrantrum in. Earthquake is Tyrantrum's best option for hitting Steel-types, as it deals a lot of damage to Mega Metagross and Jirachi and can even OHKO both at +1 if Tyrantrum is carrying a Life Orb. Fire Fang hits Ferrothorn, but it misses out on a lot of other Steel-types; notably, it cannot OHKO Bisharp after a Dragon Dance without a Life Orb. Superpower hits Air Balloon Excadrill and enables Tyrantrum to beat Bisharp one-on-one, but the Attack drop can be counterproductive to sweeping.

Set Details
========

Rock Head negates Head Smash recoil, making it much easier for Tyrantrum to sweep without knocking itself out in the process. A Lum Berry enables Tyrantrum to set up on status users such as Rotom-W, Heatran, and Talonflame and prevents it from being paralyzed by Thundurus or Klefki. A Life Orb can also be used, as it lets Tyrantrum hit a lot harder, but the recoil damage can prevent it from properly sweeping. Maximum EVs in Attack and Speed are a given for Tyrantrum to sweep more easily. A Jolly nature enables Tyrantrum to outspeed Jolly Bisharp before a boost and every non-Choice Scarf user up to Mega Lopunny and Mega Manectric after a boost. An Adamant nature can be used for more power, enabling it to deal significantly more damage to Hippowdon, Mega Slowbro, Chesnaught, and Conkeldurr in particular and still letting it outspeed everything up to Serperior and tie with base 115 Speed Pokemon, but then Tyrantrum misses out on Tornadus-T, Weavile, and Adamant Mega Lopunny.

Usage Tips
========

Tyrantrum should be kept healthy until its checks are weakened to the point where it can sweep so that it can set up and clean more easily. When using Tyrantrum, do your best to weaken its checks throughout the battle. Try to keep Pokemon that Tyrantrum can set up on, such as Talonflame and Heatran, alive throughout the battle. When Tyrantrum's checks are removed, try to give it a free switch in on one of the Pokemon it can use as setup fodder, after which it can proceed to Dragon Dance and clean the opposing team. If Tyrantrum is particularly weak to the opposing team and will have a hard time sweeping it, don't attempt to do so; instead, just use it to weaken certain Pokemon on the opposing team for the rest of its team.

Team Options
========

Tyrantrum fits on teams that want a Dragon Dance user with a powerful Rock-type STAB attack but can't afford the Mega slot. It also appreciates the support from Pokemon that can remove the defensive Ground-, Fighting-, and Steel-types that check it, either by luring them with Pokemon such as Grass Knot Thundurus or Aerial Ace Bisharp or by just weakening them like Diggersby or Garchomp can. Tyrantrum also wants support from Pokemon that can weaken Mega Lopunny, one of the biggest threats to it even after a Dragon Dance. Garchomp is particularly good, as it can also weaken physical walls such as Hippowdon due to Toxic. Magnezone's ability to trap Steel-types such as Ferrothorn and Scizor can easily pave the way for a sweep.

Moves

Head Smash is Tyrantrum's main offensive move, 2HKOing most offensive threats. Outrage hits Fighting- and Ground-types such as Keldeo, Mega Lopunny, Garchomp, and Breloom. Earthquake 2HKOes Jirachi and Mega Metagross, while Superpower OHKOes Bisharp and Air Balloon Excadrill. Fire Fang can be used to 2HKO Ferrothorn, but the move has low power and misses out on KOing a lot of other targets.

Set Details
========

Rock Head enables Tyrantrum to use Head Smash without taking a huge amount of recoil damage. A Choice Scarf increases Tyrantrum's initial Speed significantly, letting it outspeed most offensive threats. The given EV spread is used in order for Tyrantrum to outspeed as many threats as possible while hitting very hard. A Jolly nature enables Choice Scarf Tyrantrum to outspeed everything up to base 130 Speed Pokemon.

Usage Tips
========

Tyrantrum should be sent in against the offensive Pokemon it checks, such as Talonflame, Mega Charizard Y, Tornadus-T, and Thundurus. However, be careful, as many of these Pokemon carry coverage to hit Tyrantrum with, usually Focus Blast. Tyrantrum's Choice Scarf set somewhat relies on surprise, and you shouldn't expect your opponents to know that it's holding Choice Scarf and subsequently react to that. For instance, if Tyrantrum is up against an offensive threat it can outspeed and OHKO, Head Smash is almost always the best move, as your opponent will usually assume Tyrantrum is a Choice Band or Dragon Dance variant, and instead of switching to a Pokemon that resists Rock-type moves, they will try to KO it with a super effective move. Head Smash is the main move you want to use against offensive teams, as even the offensive Pokemon that resist it, such as Keldeo and Garchomp, will take a good chunk of damage from it. In addition, they will only be able to switch into Tyrantrum once due to their lack of recovery. Against defensive teams, make use of Tyrantrum's coverage and predict around Steel-types such as Ferrothorn and other Pokemon that resist Head Smash. Don't be afraid to sacrifice Tyrantrum against defensive teams if this will enable you to gain momentum and win the battle.

Team Options
========

This set fits on offensive and balanced teams that want a check to faster Flying-, Fire-, and Electric-types that can also threaten offense. It's quite good at weakening Pokemon that resist Ground and Fighting on offensive teams. Therefore, Pokemon that like them weakened can benefit from Tyrantrum's support. For instance, Mega Gyarados benefits from Keldeo and Garchomp being weakened, while Mega Charizard X has an easier time sweeping with Landorus-T and Sand Rush Excadrill crippled or removed. Choice Scarf Tyrantrum slightly struggles against bulkier teams and enjoys support from a wallbreaker, especially one that has a very easy time against Steel-types, such as Mega Heracross or Mega Charizard Y .

Moves
========

Head Smash is extremely powerful and is the main reason to run Tyrantrum. Outrage hits Pokemon that resist Rock and aren't Steel-types, such as Garchomp, Hippowdon, Keldeo, and Mega Lopunny. The last 2 moves are there for hitting Steel-types that resist Tyrantrum's dual STAB moves, such as Bisharp, Magnezone, and Cobalion. Earthquake 2HKOes any Jirachi variant, OHKOes specially defensive Klefki, and deals a ton of damage to Mega Metagross, and Superpower 2HKOes Ferrothorn and OHKOes Air Balloon Excadrill. Fire Fang can be used to handle Ferrothorn better and hit Bronzong, but it is quite weak and therefore a poor move to be locked into. Toxic is usable to weaken physical walls like Hippowdon and Chensaught without locking Tyrantrum into Outrage, but Toxic doesn't hit any of the Steel-types that commonly switch into Tyrantrum, and it can be easily exploited if Tyrantrum locks itself into it. Ice Fang hits Landorus-T and Gliscor, but both take a huge amount of damage from Head Smash already, so it's a poor option.

Set Details
========

Rock Head negates Head Smash recoil, enabling Tyrantrum to weaken physical walls without getting worn down itself. A Choice Band is the item of choice because it enables Tyrantum to hit as hard as possible. Life Orb is usable, but it causes Tyrantrum to miss out on quite a bit of power and the recoil eats away at Tyrantrum's health. Maximum Attack and Speed EVs enable Tyrantrum to be as fast and hit as hard as possible. Jolly Tyrantrum outspeeds Jolly Bisharp as well as Pokemon that commonly Speed creep Bisharp, such as Celebi and Landorus-T. However, an Adamant nature can also be chosen for a higher chance to 2HKO Hippowdon and Chesnaught with Outrage.

Usage Tips
========

Head Smash is a low-risk move to use, and it's the one Tyrantrum will be using most of the time. Even if Pokemon that resist Rock are still active, Head Smash enables Tyrantrum to weaken them for the rest of the team. Outrage should only be used when Steel-types are gone and when the opponent's only answer to Tyrantrum is KOed by it. It can be a risky move to use due to the fact that it locks Tyrantrum in, so be cautious. Superpower, Earthquake, and Fire Fang should be used when Tyrantrum's best switch-ins are Steel-types and when using Head Smash against them and therefore giving them a free turn comes at the risk of losing momentum. Send Tyrantrum in against Pokemon that can't threaten it, such as Talonflame, Skarmory lacking Iron Head and Counter, Celebi, and Zapdos. It has a hard time switching in against most teams, so it's a good idea to try to get it on the field via VoltTurn support. Specifically, Magnezone is a great partner for Tyrantrum due to its ability to trap the Steel-types that check it, particularly Ferrothorn.

Team Options
========

Tyrantrum primarily fits on balanced and bulky offensive teams as a way to both weaken physical walls and check Talonflame. Its wallbreaking abilities make it a good partner for physical attackers that benefit from physical walls being weakened, particularly those that can threaten Steel-types, such as Mega Lopunny, Mega Gallade, and Mega Charizard X. Tyrantrum is prone to being revenge killed and requires support from Pokemon that can switch into faster attackers, particularly those that can hit Tyrantrum for super effective damage. Flying-types such as Gliscor and Zapdos are able to handle Fighting- and Ground-types, while Steel-types such as Jirachi and Heatran cover Tyrantrum's weaknesses to Fairy, Dragon, and Ice. Tyrantrum benefits from U-turn and Volt Switch support from slow pivots such as Landorus-T, Rotom-W, and Scizor, which can get it in safely against a variety of threats. It also benefits from faster pivots, such as Tornadus-T and Mega Manectric, which can get Tyrantrum on the field by forcing a switch into a defensive Pokemon such as Clefable or Heatran, which Tyrantrum can then take advantage of.

Other Options
=============

Rock Polish enables Tyrantrum to outspeed Mega Lopunny but misses out on a lot of power compared to Dragon Dance. Stealth Rock is also an option, but Tyrantrum's subpar Speed, typing, and bulk make it a mediocre Stealth Rock setter.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-types**: Steel-types such as Mega Metagross, Ferrothorn, Excadrill, Jirachi, and Klefki resist both of Tyrantrum's STAB moves and hit back for super effective damage. However, they are vulnerable to Tyrantrum's coverage moves, which the Dragon Dance set can freely choose to use against them; Ferrothorn is weak to Fire Fang, Mega Metagross and Jirachi are weak to Earthquake, and Excadrill is weak to Superpower. Counter Skarmory can beat any set that isn't using Choice Band.

**Ground-types** : Ground-types are generally good answers to Tyrantrum due to their resistance to Head Smash, the fact that none of Tyrantrum's coverage moves besides Ice Fang hit them for super effective damage, and their ability to hit it back very hard with Earthquake. Hippowdon and Landorus-T take on most Tyrantrum very well, only fearing a Choice Band-boosted Outrage, while Garchomp can switch into Choice-locked Head Smash fairly easily, severely damaging Tyrantrum in the process, but cannot switch into Outrage at all.

**Fighting-types** : Fighting-types such as Keldeo, Mega Lopunny, Chesnaught, Terrakion, Conkeldurr, and to a lesser extent Breloom can take Tyrantrum's Head Smash quite well and retaliate with a super effective STAB move. However, all of these Pokemon are hit very hard by Outrage.

**Faster Attackers**: Tyrantrum can easily be checked by faster attackers, especially those with a super effective STAB attack such as Mega Diancie, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Altaria, Latios, Weavile, Mamoswine, and more. It can also be checked by naturally faster Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Alakazam, Choice Scarfer users such as Landorus-T and Heatran, or weather sweepers such as Excadrill in sand and Kabutops and Kingdra in rain.

**Priority Users**: When weakened, Tyrantrum can be revenge killed by certain priority moves such as Ice Shard from Weavile or Mamoswine, Aqua Jet from Choice Band Azumarill, Sucker Punch from Bisharp, Bullet Punch from Scizor, and Mach Punch from Breloom. However, most of these attacks are too weak to KO Tyrantrum from full health.

I've been using Tyrantrum since it came out and I think DD should be the first set, it is by far the best; I would put Scarf after it and then CB, which I don't think is very good at all; Tyrantrum can't come in a hell of a lot and its low Speed doesn't help with that. Plus it has to predict a lot around the bulkier teams it's meant to be crushing, which isn't good with hazards and Protect flying around everywhere (have fun Head Smashing into Ferrothorn). DD makes it threatening to both types of teams and removes the prediction aspect against the bulky dudes, keeping the power while also taking away some of their revenge killing options (Scarftar). Scarf is still better than CB imo because of the immediate speed helping it a ton against offense since it revenge kills a hell of a lot of dangerous shit.

As for the DD set, Adamant should never ever be used. I prefer Outrage as the Dragon STAB because it is just brutal but I totally understand why Dragon Claw is first, I think Outrage warrants a mention though. I also like Fire Fang because Ferro is the worst thing ever to be weak to and it's saved me against a few Scizors while unboosted but I get why EQ is the main option.

Very nice work otherwise!

Adamant at +1 can still outspeed Thundurus, Serperior and speed tie 115s, and here are some important walls that you need the nature and Outrage/Head Smash to get past: mixed Hippowdon, Chesnaught, Mega Slowbro, Conkeldur (+1 Outrage 50% OHKO), and you'd need all that and a LO to also get by bulky Altaria, physical Hippowdon, Bronzong, and a few more.

**Steel-types [Add hyphen]**: Steel-types [Add hyphen] like such as Mega Metagross, Ferrothorn, Excadrill, Jirachi, (AC) and Kelfki Klefki resist both of Tyrantrum's STABs moves and hit back super-effectively [Remove hyphen]. Steel-types which lack recovery also tend to get worn down by the Choice Band set, though they generally handle any other set very well. Counter Skarmory can beat any set that isn't using Choice Band banded.

**Ground-types [Add hyphen]** : Ground-types [Add hyphen] are generally good answers to Tyrantrum, thanks due to their resistance to Head Smash, the fact that they are not necassarily hit super-effectively [Remove hyphen] by any of Tyrantrum's coverage moves barring the weak [Space between "the" and "weak"] and mediocre Ice Fang, and their ability to hit it back very hard with Earthquake. Hippowdon takes on most sets very well, only fearing Outrage from the Choice Banded set. Physically Defneisve defensive Landrous-T handles Dragon Dance and Scarfed Choice Scarf sets rather' [Remove apostrophe] well, but can be 2HKOed by the Choice Band Banded set. Garchomp can switch into Choice-locked Head Smashes fairly easily, severely damaging Tyrantrum in the process, but cannot swicth switch into Outrage from Chocied Choice sets or Dragon Dance sets at all.

**Fighting-types [Add hyphen]** : Fighting-types [Add hyphen] like such as Keldeo, Mega Lopunny, Chesnaught, Terrakion, Conkeldurr, (AC) and to a lesser extent Breloom can take Tyrantrum's Head Smash quite well and retaliate with a super-effective [Remove hyphen] STAB move. However, all of these Pokemon are hit very hard by Outrage, and can be worn down by the Choice Band set. If they are weakened, the Dragon Dance set can usually outspeed them and finish them off with Dragon Claw without needing to predict around them.

**Faster attackers**: The Choice Band set can very easily be checked by faster attackers, especially those with a super-effective [Remove hyphen] STAB attack like such as Mega Diancie, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Altaria, Latios, Weavile, Mamosine Mamoswine, and more. The Dragon Dance and Choice Scarf set are far less vulnerable to faster attackers, but they can still be checked by naturally faster Pokemon like such as Mega Lopunny or Mega Alakazam, Choice Scarfers users like such as Landorus-T and Heatran, or weather sweepers like such as Excadrill in sand or Kabutops or and Kingdra in rain.

**Priority users**: When weakened, the Dragon Dance set can be revenge killed by certain priority moves such as Ice Shard from Weavile or Mamoswine, Aqua Jet from Banded Azumarill, Bullet Punch from Scizor, and Mach Punch from Breloom. However, most of these attacks are too weak to KO Tyrantrum from full health.[/quote]

[OVERVIEW]

Thanks to the release of its hidden ability, Hidden Ability, (cut all the fluff b/c you're not supposed to reference generational shifts) Rock Head, Tyrantrum has acess access to an extremely powerful rock STAB Rock-type STAB move with no drawbacks in Head Smash. This, coupled with a secondary Dragon typing STAB, good coverage for Steel-types [Add hyphen] and acess access to a great boosting move in Dragon Dance, turns it into a very fearsome physical attacker who that can sweep, weaken physical walls, or revenge kill depending on its set. Tyrantrum's defneisve defensive typing also gives it useful seful resistances to Flying, Fire, and Electric, (AC) which, (keep comma) when coupled with its good physical bulk, (AC) enablies enables it to switch into the likes of Pokemon such as Talonflame. Unfortunately, Tyrantrum is relatively slow for an offensive threat, (AC) which leaves it prone to being revenge killed. Its Dual dual STABs coverage is walled by Steel-types, which forces it to rely on coverage to hit them. It's also weak to common types like such as Ground, Fighting, Dragon, (AC) and Fairy.

Moves

Dragon Dance is the primary move of the set, it enables Tyrantrum to sweep both offensive and defensive teams once its checks are have been removed. Head Smash is Tyrantrum's main offensive move,; [Remove comma, add semicolon] it hits very hard after a boost and has no drawbacks thansk thanks to Rock Head. Dragon Claw enables Tyrantrum to hit Garchomp and Keldeo, (RC) and acts as a reliable STAB move which that can serve to finish off weakened threats without having to rely on an the inaccurate Head Smash. move Outrage can be used over Dragon Claw for much higher more power,; [Remove comma, add semicolon] notably, it has a chance to OHKO Keldeo at +1, but it has the unfortunate side-effect of locking Tyrantrum in. Earthquake is Tyrantrum's best option for hitting Steel-types, [Add hyphen] as it deals a lot of damage to Mega Metagross and Jirachi and can even OHKO both at +1 if Tyrantrum is carrying a Life Orb. Fire Fang hits Ferrothorn, but misses out on a lot of other Steel-types,; [Add hyphen, remove comma, add semicolon] notably, it cannot OHKO Bisharp after a Dragon Dance without a Life Orb. Superpower hits Air Baloon Balloon Excadrill and enables Tyrantrum to beat Bisharp one-on-one 1v1, but the Attack drop can be counterproductive to sweeping.

Set Details
========

Rock Head negates Head Smash recoil, makling making it much easier for it Tyrantrum to sweep without knocking itself out in the process. A Lum Berry enables Tyrantrum to set up on Status status users such as Rotom-W, Heatran, and Talonflame, (RC) and prevents it from being paralyzed by Thundurus or Kelfki Klefki. A Life Orb can also be used, as it lets Tyrantrum hit a lot harder, but the recoil damage it takes from it can prevent it from properly sweeping. Full offensive EVs Maximum EVs in Attack and Speed are given for Tyrantrum to sweep more easily. A Jolly nature enables Tyrantrum to outspeed Jolly Bisharp before a boost and every non-scarfer Choice Scarf user up to Mega Lopunny and Mega Manectric after a boost. An Adamant nature can be used for higher more power, enabling it to deal significaly significantly more damage to Hippowdon, Mega Slowbro, Chensaught, (AC) and Conkeldurr in particular, (RC) and still lets letting it outspeed everything up to Seperior Serperior and tie with base 115s Speed Pokemon, but misses out on Tornadus-T, Weavile, and Adamant Mega Lopunny.

Usage Tips
========

Tyrantrum should be kept healthy until its checks are weakened to the point where it can sweep, (RC) so that it can set up and clean more easily. When using Tyrantrum, Do do your best to weaken its checks thoughout throughout the battle. Try to keep Pokemon which that Tyrantrum can set up on, such as Talonflame and Heatran, alive throughout the battle. Once Tyrantrum's checks have been sufficiently weakened to the point where it can sweep [Sentence seems incomplete]. If Tyrantrum is particularly weak to the opposing team and will have a hard time sweeping it, don't attempt to do so, ; (change to semicolon) instead, (AC) just use it to weaken a certain Pokemon on the opposing team for the rest of the its team.

Team Options
========

Tyrantrum fits on teams which that want a Dragon Dancer with a powerful Rock-type STAB attack, (RC) but can't afford the Mega Slot slot. It also appreciates the support from Pokemon who that can remove the defensive Ground-, (AC) Fighting-, (AC) and Steel-types [Add hyphen] that check it, either by luring them like with Pokemon such as Grass Knot Thundurus or Aerial Ace Bisharp do, (RC) or just weakening them like Diggerby Diggersby or Garchomp can. It Tyrantrum also wants support from something which that can weaken Mega Lopunny, one of the biggest threats to it, even after a Dragon Dance the DD set. Garchomp is particularly good, (AC) since as it can also weaken phsycial physical walls like such as Hippowdon thanks due to Toxic. Magnezone's ability to trap Steel-types [Add hyphen] like such as Ferrothorn and Scizor can quite easily pave the way for a Tyrantrum sweep.

Head Smash is Tyrantrum's main offensive move, it 2HKOs 2HKOing most offensive threats and is a must on any Tyrantrum set. Outrage hits Fighting- and Ground-types [Ground-types, not "Ground- types"] like such as Keldeo, Mega Lopunny, Garchomp, (AC) and Breloom. Earthquake 2HKOes Jirachi and Mega Metagross, while Superpower OHKOes Bisharp and Air Baloon Balloon Excadrill. Fire Fang can be used to 2HKO Ferrothorn, but the move has low power and misses out on KOing a lot of other targets.

Set Details

Rock Head enables Tyrantrum to use Head Smash without taking a huge amount of recoil damage. A Choice Scarf increases Tyrantrum's iniçtial initial speed Speed significantly, letting it outspeed most offensive threats. The given EV spread is chosen used in order for Tyrantrum to outspeed as many trheats threats as possible while hitting very hard. A Jolly nature enables Choice Scarf Tyrantrum to outspeed everything up to base 130s Speed Pokemon.

Usage Tips
========

Tyrantrum should be sent in against the offensive Pokemon it checks, such as Talonflame, Mega Charizard-Y [Remove hyphen], Torndaus-T Tornadus-T, and Thundurus. However, be careful, sicne as many of these Pokemon carry coverage to hit Tyrantrum with, usually Focus Blast. Tyrantrum's Choice Scarf set somewhat relies on surprise effect, and you shouldn't expect your opponents to know that you're Scarfed it's holding Choice Scarf and subsequently react to that. For instance, if you're Tyrantrum is up against an offensive threat Tyrantrum it can outspeed and OHKO, Head Smash is almost always the best move, since as your opponent will usually assume Tyrantrum is a Choice Banded or Dragon Dance variant, and instead of switching to a Rock resist Pokemon that resists Rock-type moves, they will try to KO it with a super-effective [Remove hyphen] move. Head Smash is the main move use you want to use against offensive teams, since as even the offensive Pokemon that resist it, like such as Keldeo and Garchomp, will take a good chunk of damage from it,. [Remove comma, add period] In addition, they and will only be able to switch into Tyrantrum once due to their lack of recovery. (AP) Against defensive teams, make use of Tyrantrum's coverage and predict around Steel-types tyes like such as Ferrothorn and other Rock resists Pokemon that resist Head Smash. Don't be afraid to sack sacrifice Tyrantrum against defensive teams if this will enable you to gain momentum and win the battle.

Team Options

This set fits on offensive and balanced teams that want a check to faster Flying-, Fire-, (AC) and Electric-types [Add hyphen] which that can also threaten offense. It's quite good at weakening Pokemon that resist Ground and Fighting resists on offensive teams. Therefore, Pokemon which that likes them weakened can benefit from Tyrantrum's support. For instance, Mega Gyarados benefits from Keldeo and Garchomp being weakened, while Mega Charizard-X [Remove hyphen] has an easier time sweeping with Landorus-T and Sand Rush Excadrill crippled or removed. Scarfed Choice Scarf Tyrantrum slightly struggles against bulkier teams and enjoys support from a wallbreaker, especially one that has a very easy time against Steel-types, (AC) [Add hyphen] like such as Mega Heracross or Mega Charizard-Y [Remove hyphen].

Head Smash is extremely powerful and is the main reason to run Tyrantrum. Outrage hits Pokemon that resist Rock resists that aren't Steel-types [Add hyphen], (AC) such as like Garchomp, Hippowdon, Keldeo, (AC) and Mega Lopunny. The last 2 moves are there for hitting Steel-types [Add hyphen] that resist Tyrantrum's dual STAB moves, such as like Bisharp, Magnezone, (AC) and Cobalion. Earthquake 2HKOes any Jirachi variant, OHKOes SpD specially defensive Klefki, (AC) (no, don't add the comma) and deals a ton of damage to Mega Metagross, and Superpower 2HKOes Ferrothorn and OHKOs Air Baloon Balloon Excadrill. Fire Fang can be used to handle Ferrothorn better and hit Bronzong, (AC) but it is quite weak and therefore a poor move to be locked into. Toxic is usable to weaken physical walls like Hippowdon and Chensaught without locking Tyrantrum into Outrage, but Toxic doesn't hit any of the Steel-types [Add hyphen]that commonly switch into Tyrantrum, and it can be easily exploited if it Tyrantrum locks itself into it. Ice Fang hits Landorus-T and Gliscor, but both take a huge amount of damage from Head Smash already so it's a pretty poor option.

Set Details
========

Rock Head is the best ability for Tyrantrum, since it negates Head Smash recoil, enabling it Tyrantrum to weaken physical walls without gettting getting worn down itself. A Choice Band is the item ofr choice since because it enables Tyrantum to hit as hard as possible, and becuase Head Smash is the move it will want to use most of the time. Life Orb is usable but it misses out on qute quite a bit of damage power and the recoil eats away at Tyrantrum's health longevity. Maximum Attack and max Speed EVs enables Tyrantrum to be as fast and hit as hard as possible. Jolly Tyrantrum outspeeds Jolly Bisharp asd as well as Pokemon that commonly speed creep Bisharp like such as Celebi and Landorus-T. However, an Adamant nature can also be chosen to score 2HKOs on Hippowdon and Chesnaught with Outrage more easily.

Usage Tips
========

Head Smash is a low-risk move to use, and it's the one Tyrnatrum Tyrantrum will be using most of the time. Even if Pokemon that resist Rock Rock resists are still active, Head Smash enables Tyrantrum to weaken them for the rest of the team. Outrage should only be used when Steel-types [Add hyphen] are gone and when the opponent's only answer to Tyrantrum is beaten by it. It can be a risky move to use due to the fact that it locks Tyrantrum in, so be cautious. Superpower, Earthquake, (AC) and Fire Fang should be used when Tyrantrum's best switch ins ["switch ins", not "switchins"] are Steel-types [Add hyphen], and when using Head Smashing against them and therefore giving them a free turn comes at the risk of losing momentum. Send Tyrantrum in against Pokemon that can't threaten it such as Talonflame, Skarmory lacking Iron Head and Counter, Celebi, (AC) and Zapdos. It has a hard time switching in against most teams, so it's a good idea to try to get it on the field via VoltTurn support. Specifically, Magnezone is a great partner for Tyrantrum for due to its ability to trap the Steel-types [Add hyphen] which that check it, particularly Ferrothorn.

Team Options
========

Tyrantrum primarily fits on balanced and bulky offensive teams primarily, as a way to both weaken physical walls and check Talonflame. Its wallbreaking abilities makes it a good partner for physical attackers which that befetis benefit from physical walls being weakened, particularly those that can threaten Steel-types [Add hyphen] like such as Mega Lopunny, Mega Gallade, and Mega Charizard-X [Remove hyphen]. Tyrantrum is very prone to being revenge killed, (RC) and requires support from Pokemon that can switch into fatser faster attackers, particualrly particularly those that can hit tyrantrum Tyrantrum super-effectively [Remove hyphen] (the correct term is for super effective damage). Flying-types [Add hyphen] such as Gliscor and Zapdos are able to handle Fighting- and Ground-types [Add hyphens], while Steel-types [Add hyphen] like such as Jirachi and Heatran cover Tyrantrum's weakeness weaknesses to Fairy, Dragon, (AC) and Ice. Tyrantrum stongly benefits from U-turn and Volt Switch support from slow pivots like such as Landorus-T, Rotom-W, (AC) and Scizor, (AC) which can get it in safely against a variely variety of threats,. [Remove comma, add period] as well as fast ones like It also benefits from faster pivots, such as Tornadus-T and Mega-(RH)Manectric, (AC) whcih which can get Tyrantrum on the field by forcing a switch into a defensive Pokemon like such as Clefable or Heatran, (AC) which Tyrantrum can then take advantage of.

Other Options
=============

Rock Polish enables Tyrantrum to outspeed Mega Lopunny but misses out on a lot of power compared to Dragon Dance. Stealth Rock is also an option, but Tyrantrum's speed Speed, typing, and bulk make it a mediocre Stealth Rock setter.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-types [Add hyphen]**: Steel-types [Add hyphen] like such as Mega Metagross, Ferrothorn, Excadrill, Jirachi, (AC) and Kelfki Klefki resist both of Tyrantrum's STABs moves and hit back super-effectively [Remove hyphen] for super effective damage. However, they are vulnerable to Tyrantrum's coverage moves, which the Dragon Dance set can quite freely choose to use against them; : [Remove colon, add semicolon] for instance, Ferrothorn is weak to Fire Fang, Mega Metagross and Jirachi are weak to Eathrquake Earthquake, and Excadrill is weak to Superpower. Steel-types which lack recovery also tend to get worn down by the Choice Band set, though they generally handle any other set very well. (don't cross-reference) Counter Skarmory can beat any set that isn't using Choice Band banded.

**Ground-types [Add hyphen]** : Ground-types [Add hyphen] are generally good answers to Tyrantrum, (RC) thanks due to their resistance to Head Smash, the fact that they are not necassarily hit super-effectively [Remove hyphen] by any of Tyrantrum's coverage moves barring the weak [Space between "the" and "weak"] and mediocre Ice Fang none of Tyrantrum's coverage moves besides Ice Fang hit them for super effective damage, and their ability to hit it back very hard with Earthquake. Hippowdon and Landorus-T takes on most sets Tyrantrum very well, only fearing a Choice Band-boosted Outrage from the Choice Banded set.

(don't cross-reference)

**Faster attackers Attackers**: The Choice Band set Tyrantrum can very easily be checked by faster attackers, especially those with a super-effective [Remove hyphen] STAB attack like such as Mega Diancie, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Altaria, Latios, Weavile, Mamosine Mamoswine, and more. The Dragon Dance and Choice Scarf set are far less vulnerable to faster attackers, but they can still It can also be checked by naturally faster Pokemon like such as Mega Lopunny or Mega Alakazam, Choice Scarfers users like such as Landorus-T and Heatran, or weather sweepers like such as Excadrill in sand or Kabutops or and Kingdra in rain.

**Priority users Users**: When weakened, the Dragon Dance set Tyrantrum can be revenge killed by certain priority moves such as Ice Shard from Weavile or Mamoswine, Aqua Jet from Banded Azumarill, Bullet Punch from Scizor, and Mach Punch from Breloom. However, most of these attacks are too weak to KO Tyrantrum from full health.

Always!
I'm a little iffy about this check because you missed a lot. However, you nailed the stuff that you did catch. There was a lot to change from the very beginning, and you obviously worked hard on this AM check. I'll stamp it for now, but make sure to be more careful next time.

===================

It can also be checked by naturally faster Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny or and Mega Alakazam, Choice Scarfer users such as Landorus-T and Heatran, or weather sweepers such as Excadrill in sand or and Kabutops and Kingdra in rain.

**Priority Users**: When weakened, Tyrantrum can be revenge killed by certain priority moves such as Ice Shard from Weavile or Mamoswine, Aqua Jet from Banded Choice Band Azumarill, Bullet Punch from Scizor, and Mach Punch from Breloom. However, most of these attacks are too weak to KO Tyrantrum from full health.

If you are mentioning Aqua Jet from Banded Azumarill as problematic for a weakened Tyrantrum, shouldn't also mention Bisharp's Sucker Punch as well, since it hits Tyrantrum harder than CB Azu's Aqua Jet (and no, Aqua Jet does not hit Tyrantrum super effectively)?

252 Atk Life Orb Bisharp Sucker Punch vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Tyrantrum: 142-169 (46.4 - 55.2%) -- 67.2% chance to 2HKO
252+ Atk Black Glasses Bisharp Sucker Punch vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Tyrantrum: 144-171 (47 - 55.8%) -- 78.5% chance to 2HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Tyrantrum: 103-123 (33.6 - 40.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
