Silly Things You've Seen In Other Metagames

I didn't get a replay before the room expired, but I saw a Camomons battle with Hidden Power + Confuse Ray + Telekinesis + Dynamic Punch Mega Sableye. The team also had CM+Acid Armor Chandelure and Acid Armor Dragalge, but I think the Mega Sableye set really takes the cake.

Fresh batch. Come get 'em while they're hot.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-279208710
Discharge/Double-Edge Jolteon, Dragon Claw/Crunch normal Sceptile (at least holding a Sitrus for Unburden abuse), and Air Slash/Thunder Punch Sashed Charizard, which did stop Hawlucha from completing the sweep.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-279210518
Curious Gengar set. It's Knock Off/Trick a Black Sludge, apparently unaware that it can steal items as well and Knocking Off (instead of taking) Clefable's Leftovers. Right side switches Clefable, then Serperior into Gengar, the latter taking a Sludge Wave to the face, with a Forretress in the back.

Magic Bounce Induced Ragequit #21172.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-279212784
Felled by a Torkoal. How embarassing. Also, there's a reason Smeargle carries Dark Void. And fill out your team, please.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-279213665
No switching here. Highlights include an unnecessary sack of Skarmory, and later Dragonite stays in on Empoleon, Fire Punching. Aaaand Cue the Ice Beam. Also, you'd think the final exchange involves Bisharp Sucker Punching and ending this thing, right? No!

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-279591842 This just happened, and while it's short, it's definitely a gem.
  • An apparent obsession with going fast: Ninjask and Blaziken (one has to wonder what they plan to pass to, if anything), Serperior (which is fast), Sableye (which is Prankster and carries Sucker Punch), Ditto (which HOPEFULLY carries a Scarf), and Swampert (which, albeit with a damage output suggesting an offensive EV spread, is not powerful enough to be a BP recipient).
  • Air Balloon Swampert (probably trying to be a Pdon counter. Even purely in the vein of Air Balloon EQ users that resist Fire, Garchomp seems much better for the job). Uses Ice Punch against Zekrom when it has Earthquake.
  • Taunt/Nasty Plot/Sucker Punch Sableye. Falls to Magic Coat + Psych Up Clefable, after which its owner forfeits and delivers this perfect line on Turn 13:
★pikachuchu2345:Fuck Your Gimmicky Stalling Shit

Since my keyboard is not cooperating, i wont describe these battles rn ;(

Nice and battle stealing (I used said Magic Coat + Psych Up Clefable).

Let me describe these battles then:

First battle:
  • First anti-Klefki measure: physically defensive Volcarona. I hope it also had Flame Body, as Klefki didn't burn in six Foul Plays (11.8% chance).
  • Second anti-Klefki measure: Itemless Hoopa-U with Hyperspace Fury to steal its Leftovers behind Subs.
  • Heal Pulse Xerneas in Singles.
  • Calm Mind + Future Sight Mega Alakazam which can 2HKO Klefki...
  • ...then comes turn 26: instead of breaking the Sub with Surf so that Future Sight hits Klefki, Kingdra used Focus Energy!...
  • ...and happened to carry Leftovers instead of Scope Lens. Alas, Fortuna decided that it shouldn't crit in three tries (1/8 chance).

Second battle: Mew vs. the world, with Flame Charge and Blizzard (rest of moveset is unknown).

My turn I guess. Here I go:

Some pretty crazy seasonal battles:

That's a lucky Mawile.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/seasonalspoopyparty-279692354

Dat Turn 1. Also spamming Trick-or-Treat, which pays off when Da Mimez picks the Ultimate Super Hiper Mega Awesome Beam destroyer of worlds.

My BH adventures with a team shamelessly stolen from AnybodyAgrees :
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-279691218
Magic Bounce Shedinja (with no Baton Pass btw), Simple Tail Glow MMY with no STAB (Tail Glow / Spore / Oblivion Wing / Substitute) and a Focus Sash, LumRest Contrary V-create Mega Latios and Sash Transform Blissey.

Our more traditional stupidness:
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-279835449
Mons are OK, but that movesets... oh well, the infamous non-Mega Charizard is on left's side. Also Heavy Rain fails.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-279836044
Short one. Features mixed Arceus-Dark w/ Dark Pulse and Earthquake, Aqua Ring Primal Kyogre and non-Skill Link Cloyster.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-279834787
When your team's so bad it gets entirely one-shotted by a Volcarona (well, almost). Features Sky Attack Gliscor.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-279832602
Turn 1
The opposing Smeargle used Spore!
It doesn't affect Ariados...
Ariados used Megahorn!
The opposing Smeargle avoided the attack!

Do I need to say more?

Dmn, I lost my keys seems to be a upcoming player :o

Drifblim's name.

Tip : Don't leave a Krikitune in front of a Clefairy that is using CM. Chances are it will Softboiled just as you're about to kill it
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/pu-279873329
Delelele-WHOOPS!

(What? That was perfect!)

Alrighty, fresh batch.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-279900143
Oh God, right side. Right side. There's also a Refrigerate Aurorus with manual Hail and Blizzard (thus defeating the purpose of Refrigerate Aurorus) and a Drain Punch Clefable. And Yet Another Timer Stall.
(At least it's not Drain Punch Blissey.)

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-279902246
Aqua Jet Keldeo, which does 15% in a last-ditch hit on a Serperior...at +2. Also, Signal Beam Lugia.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-279911440
Dat Spiritomb tho. (Quick Claw Destiny Bond. More Maison nightmares, anyone?)

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/vgc2015-279913353
Encore backfire and an appearance by everyone's favorite Karen-speech poster child.

Aaaand this is why you don't use Slaking ever.

You got the team slightly wrong, the Regigigas is a gimmicky set involving Rest + Harvest and has a physically defensive spread, the Yveltal has Sacred Fire over Will-o-Wisp (even though wisp is probably better because PP), and we didn't get to see the Venusaur. Which is as gimmicky as the rest of the team.

I know, I just made it my personal changes, aka everything is the standard set. Mega Venusaur is the Flash Fire trapper standard set (Roost / Thousand Waves / Leech Seed / Giga Drain).

'Twas the point.

Specially defensive Jolteon

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-280120729
Empoleon, Slurpuff, Aerodactyl, Toxicroak, Mamoswine and Non-mega Salamence, clashing against Tauros, Whimsicott, Hawlucha , Blaziken, Tentacruel and Skarmory.

Lefty here is forgetting something. You know, Imposter.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-280149189
Double-Edge Aguav Berry Deoxys-D. So much wrong with that.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-280145281
Protip: Trying to finish off something with a 4x resisted move does not work. Even with the Life Orb that said target was holding.

Welcome to 1v1, the only standard meta where Trevenant can stall out Kyurem-B.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-280148822
Offensive Sableye, Spiritomb killing itself with Curse, and how not to deal with Cofagrigus.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-280153558
Latios using Psyshock on Scrafty and promptly getting frozen. Also, if you're going to run Sticky Web, you might want a way of dealing with Mega Beedrill, preferably while keeping Talonflame alive.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-280150904
Lopunny and Gallade are much better things to mega evolve than Audino, I would think.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-280150457
Blissey almost sweeps a team of Darkrai.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-280155570
A one turn battle, but still pretty funny.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-280151779
Here's one way to screw over Ambipom: Inner Focus. Later, we see Yveltal abuse the fact that Dragon Rush always hits a Minimized target, but not Garchomp, the mon that gets STAB on it. And it wouldn't be AG without the infamous non-mega Charizard, which only killed Cinccino because Rock Blast missed.

This is just the most embarassing battle of dsm77773 career as a trainer.
Nope man. I had worse battles, as incredible as that might sound. But nobody saved the replay...

You evil, what do you mean with "it worked"?
Also you forgot the "flyquaza new meta" one, I'm pretty sure I saved the replay but I just can't find it.
OMFG YAAAS! Seriously, I love how you only needed two of them to destroy this guy. But there's so much wrong on the other side I can't stand it.
You mean this?
- 4 attacks (Spacial Rend / Moonblast / Searing Shot / Origin Pulse) Snow Warning Milotic hitting Lapras for all that 14% max damage
- Fusion Bolt offensive Lugia
- Sketch Darmanitan
- Victreebel
- Nothing else on the team

NOOOO, you got the room, not the replay!
No, the link is correct -- I saw it earlier. Replays are just down for now.

Summary from memory is that Right kept spamming Normal- and Fighting-type moves, including a Giga Impact from Regigigas, against Left's Ghost-types. Right's mons were also holding non-functional mega stones.
