[AOT Round 2] Group Did You Always Exist?: Maxim vs Rainman Legends

Someoneelse

Why am I here?
Bring 4, Pick 3 Singles. You PM 4 Pokemon to the ref from your profile, but the battle will be 3vs3 singles. You will choose and send out your mons as the battle develops.
ASB Arena
Strict 72h Disqualification.
One warning per player. First warning (any tag after DQ interval is passed) resets the timer. If the player passes DQ interval a second time, DQ can be called, giving the player one hour to post (with full orders / Pokemon, just saying "orders coming watch this space" doesn't suffice) after DQ is called to rescind it. If one hour passes, the player is DQ'd regardless of the ref posting or not. User calling DQ must tag DQ'd player. Referees please tag the combatants when you have finished your reffing. Players, if you know you're going to be away you better post a Leave of Absence BEFORE you leave, or give a very good reason in case of an emergency. DQ time won't pass during a valid LoA. Frosty will say this only once: don't test him
78 days Time Limit: After 78 days Frosty reserves the right to forcibly end any matches that don't seem like ending anytime soon. Said matches will be judged by the voters. This Time Limit ends at March 16th. The number of days was increased to account for multiple matches and holidays.
Infinite Recoveries/Chills per Pokémon.
Three Substitutions per player excluding KO Substitutions.
One Mega Evolution
Switch = OK
Abilities = ALL
Items = ON.
Arena: ASB Tournament Arena
Ubers Rule:
Mewtwo and Victini may be used in battle, but they will take up the mega slot of the player. Other Pokemon may be included in this list as the tournament progresses.

Rainman Legends:

Mr. Mime (Gogo) (M)
Type:
Psychic: Can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

Fairy: The consecutive move usage penalty for using damaging Fairy-type moves is reduced to two (2) from four (4).

Abilities:
Soundproof: Pokemon with this ability emit their own powerful electrostatic or sound-dampening field, making them immune to sound-based moves other than an ally's or their own Heal Bell. (Known sound moves: Boomburst, Bug Buzz, Chatter, Disarming Voice, Echoed Voice, Grass Whistle, Growl, Heal Bell, Hyper Voice, Metal Sound, Perish Song, Relic Song, Roar, Round, Screech, Sing, Snarl, Snore, Supersonic, Uproar.)

Filter: This Pokemon has a special energy barrier that reduces the Base Attack Power of any opponent's super effective attack by two (2).

Technician (H): This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their one-hit or two-hit attacks that normally have 6 or less Base Attack Power to have their Base Attack Power on each hit multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, Double Hit to from 4 per hit to 6 per hit etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack that has its BAP increased by Technician is increasedy one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) Base Attack Power, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2). Because Technician is a multiplier on single hit moves, its effect is applied to Base Attack Power before any additive effects. Technician only applies to combos in the rare case that an initial hit will have 6 or less BAP.

Mawile (Zantetsuken) (F)
Type:
Steel: Immune to Sandstorm damage, immune to Poison/Toxic status, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, making them susceptible to Poison-type attacks and Poison/Toxic Status.

Fairy: The consecutive move usage penalty for using damaging Fairy-type moves is reduced to two (2) from four (4).

Abilities:
Hyper Cutter: This Pokemon always keeps its claws/teeth/pincers extremely sharp, and thus cannot have its attack reduced.

Intimidate: When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing their Attack stage (and adjusting the natural stage) by one (1). If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as a Command, and will affect all opponents.
Activate Intimidate - 5 En - Lowers all foes' Attack (and adjusting the natural stage) by one (1) stage. Only usable if a foe entered play this round.

Sheer Force (HA): At default this Pokemon can energize all its attacks with a secondary effect (These are damaging moves that either lower the target's stats, raise the user's stats, or inflict a status condition on the target). The Base Attack Power of every move with a secondary effect increases by two (2), but they will never have their usual secondary effect. When toggled, no effect.

Dragonite (Bahamut) (Male)
Type:
Dragon: -1 BAP on incoming neutral attacks Dragon itself would resist (e.g. -1 BAP on Aqua Jet against Garchomp.) Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.
Flying: Immunity to Ground attacks and the Arena Trap Ability except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Will always hit foes with Dig (except other Flying types) and Dive. Cannot be hit by Dive unless the attacking Pokemon has a size class greater than four (4). Unaffected by Spikes or Toxic Spikes. when switching in. Able to hit Pokemon in the evasive stage of Bounce, Fly or Sky Drop with single target moves that hit Pokemon on the field regardless of position.

Abilities:
Inner Focus: When an opponent attempts to flinch this Pokemon, it stands firm and continues its attack. If it has another ability that would be activated by flinching, that ability activates.
Multiscale (H): This Pokemon has sturdy scales to protect it from an opponent's attacks. If this Pokemon is at their maximum HP when a round starts, all damage done to this Pokemon by attacks with BAP during the round will be halved.

Round One

"Aah, Kitsunoh and Dragonite, two very strong Pokemon. I'm shivering just seeing them."
"Sounds like someone needs to toughen up."
"Ah, probably. Looks like more forbidable battlers waiting in the wings too. Remind me why we're here again?"
"Because it's a fantastic battle, that's why. Now man up, and let's watch it!"

Moments later...

"Eeeek!"
"What, it's just a bit of rain, ah."
"EEEEEEEEEEEEK!"
"Ugh, it'll stop soon enough. Anyway, unlike Quinn here, Dragonite's fire's strong enough to do some decent damage to its opponent despite the rain and the lack of its Expert Belt, which was useless anyway with Frisk. Kitsunoh knocks off the belt and does some funky trick to equalise their healths. Now, I think-"
"Help me already!"

Round Four

"We're finally back, everyone."
"Yep! Unlike that Dragonite, it's well out of here!"
"And a formidable Mawile in its place. Its Mega Evolution will- wait it's not Mega Evolving. Interesting decision here."
"Mm. Gardevoir sets up a wall, but it's not protecting it from that barrage. Ouch!"
"Yep. And Gardevoir shoots some fiery rings at it's opponent, but some of it is blocked by the rain. Not sure how that works."
"Water puts out fire. We saw that before."
"Right. Mawile then throws some rocks up around Gardevoir, which do no damage. Useful."
"Gardevoir now shoots a much stronger blast of energy at the Steel-type, knocking its health down a fair bit. Mawile retaliates with a whack with its jaw, the attack being lessened by the shield."
"And, finally, the rain's clearing. I can go outside again!"
