Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Mega Diancie is one of the most threatening Pokemon in the OverUsed Tier as it has ridiculous Offensive Power and enough speed to speed tie with Latios and Latias. After Mega Evolving, Diancie receives the ability Magic Bounce giving it an immunity to status moves such as Thunder Wave and Will-O-Wisp and can also reflect opposing entry hazards. Despite this, Mega Diancie crucially loses it's Bulk for it's Offensive Power making it take some major damage when taking hits.
Thundurus (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice] - Flash Cannon
- Thunder Wave
This is pretty simple. While Thunderbolt does a lot to Mega Diancie, Flash Cannon allows it to OHKO it from full HP safely. Flash Cannon also gives nice general coverage for Fairies, and while Sludge Wave / Bomb is better for this, Flash Cannon still gets the 2HKO on Clef most of the time.
252 SpA Life Orb Thundurus Flash Cannon vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Diancie: 411-484 (170.5 - 200.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Thundurus Flash Cannon vs. 252 HP / 84+ SpD Clefable: 203-239 (51.5 - 60.6%) -- 91.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Normally, Diancie outspeeds and OHKOs Garchomp with Moonblast. However, with a Roseli berry equipped, Garchomp can survive a Moonblast and KO back with Earthquake. If you want to use this to lure in other Fairies such as Clefable, then you can use Poison Jab.
224 SpA Mega Diancie Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Roseli Berry Garchomp: 204-241 (57.1 - 67.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Garchomp Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Diancie: 302-356 (125.3 - 147.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
This is the regular Klefki set, but with Flash Cannon instead of the more conventionnal Play Rough/Dazzling Gleam (or even Foul Play). Since Klefki can't do much against M-Diancie due to her ability Magic Bounce (not to mention Klefki's pitiful Atk and SpAtk stats), M-Diancie would normally be a great switch-in that would bounce back some Spikes or a Thunder Wave at Klefki. However, when Klefki is equipped with Flash Cannon in its fourth and final moveslot, it can catch M-Diancie off guard and swiftly OHKO it. The cool thing is you don't have to predict M-Diancie switching in to effectively lure it (sure it'd be better, but such a scenario can't always occur): it also works in 1 vs 1 situation since Klefki is only 3HKOed by HP Fire (or 4HKOed most of the time if Earth Power is used instead (cuz Magnet Rise)). So yeah. It's a cool yet simple lure.
32 Atk Mega Diancie Diamond Storm vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Klefki: 89-105 (27.9 - 33%) -- 91.5% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
224 SpA Mega Diancie Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Klefki: 120-142 (37.7 - 44.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
Without Flash Cannon:
0- Atk Klefki Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Diancie: 48-57 (19.9 - 23.6%) -- possible 5HKO
0 Atk Klefki Play Rough vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Diancie: 75-88 (31.1 - 36.5%) -- 62.3% chance to 3HKO
0 SpA Klefki Dazzling Gleam vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Mega Diancie: 75-88 (31.1 - 36.5%) -- 62.3% chance to 3HKO
With Flash Cannon
0 SpA Klefki Flash Cannon vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Mega Diancie: 300-352 (124.4 - 146%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 29 HP
- Iron Tail
- Knock Off
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
Iron Tail is an interesting move on Weavile, as Diancie enjoys coming in on it after something dies due to Weave normally lacking means of one-shotting it. However, Iron Tail allows it to lure it in after scoring a kill and OHKO it immediately. It also deals more damage to Clefable, guaranteeing a 2-hit or something (i can't honestly remember what spread this is versus) and guaranteeing the OHKO on specs sylve, which is nice considering that fairyspam (which often does carry sylve) gives darkspam a lot of trouble for what should be obvious reasons. It exchanges this extra power for accuracy and damage v.s. Azu, although it still struggles to come in on the move consistently regardless due to being easily worn down.
252+ SpA Rotom-H Hidden Power Steel vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Mega Diancie: 256-304 (106.2 - 126.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
P.S. This trick is hellish if you enter on a monster weak 4x to Overheat i.e. Ferrothorn/Mega Scizor because the opponent can think that Mega Diance is a safe switch-in (even if it has already Mega evolved). The opponent can think Diance can tank a Fire-type attack thus lowering Rotom's SpA granting itself a free Calm Mind ===> but you clicked HP Steel...
or even
252+ SpA Rotom-H Discharge vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Mega Diancie: 127-151 (52.6 - 62.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (2 times in a row: the first on the switch and the latter you outspeed the Fairy with Scarf)
The microwave oven is so underrated it is a crime not to consider it more despite the competition with its washing machine form being even better than it.
Normally, Rotom-H suffers from the detrimental effect of Overheat which forces it to switch more than necessary thus making Volt Switch even more predictable than usual.
This set uses a more aggressive approach than the usual one with max EVs is SpA + Modest nature and with Discharge replacing Volt Switch because it still has a good 30% chance to paralyse the opponent. HP Steel is the key to OHKO Mega Diance with little effort.
You can even use Choice Scarf to use Discharge + Discharge without hoping in the 30% chance.
Other stuff hit decently well by HP Steel and harder than STAB Discharge (not many, but it's worth to mention that, towards opponents weak 2x to Steel, Discharge and HP Steel have similar power thus not revealing what HP is unless you face a monster 4x weak to it):
252+ SpA Rotom-H Hidden Power Steel vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Altaria: 120-142 (41.2 - 48.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252+ SpA Rotom-H Hidden Power Steel vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Kyurem-B: 136-162 (34.7 - 41.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO (Rotom-H may win if it uses Will o' Wisp on the switch)
252+ SpA Rotom-H Hidden Power Steel vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Mamoswine: 210-248 (58.4 - 69%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ SpA Rotom-H Hidden Power Steel vs. 212 HP / 0 SpD Solid Rock Rhyperior: 151-178 (35.6 - 41.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery and burn damage

Wow! That's pretty creative to say the least. However, I'm not sure your Overheat + HP Steel calc is useful as M-Diancie outspeeds and OHKOes Rotom-H with Diamond Storm after it's been hit by Overheat.
Mega Diancie is considered a solid switch-in to Charizard X one time if it is at full HP because +1 Flare Blitz is unable to net the KO:
+1 252 Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Flare Blitz vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Diancie: 180-213 (74.6 - 88.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
However both Earthquake and Iron Tail are clean OHKOs. Iron Tail is less for Mega Diancie and more for Mega Altaria, but has the benefit of still hitting Diancie. It's a successful lure because Charizard rarely carries these moves so a full HP Diancie is generally pretty safe once it's been established that it's Charizard X and not Y.
Sorry for the delay (I got really tired last night and fell asleep early), but voting starts now and will end in about 36 hours (still ending at the same time as usual).
