I always wanted to play for Oceania, but TRC made it very clear that even after all this time, there wouldn't be anything more than a reserve spot for me even before watching me play a single game. That's a slap in the face for someone who's started in more consecutive world cups than any player for any team on Smogon...

you were always fine to show me any of your modern dpp games whenever, or tryout against someone in the irc channel. no, i wasn't going to push aside every other player to start you before seeing you play, because that's obviously not a good decision for someone who i haven't seen play modern dpp. of course you're entitled to tryout but it does make sense for me to not say you have a starting spot in dpp when i have not seen you play dpp in a very long time
