tbh my interpretation is that "cat of the fire"<-->"cat from the fire"; literally it is "of the" which is more like "born from the fire", if we were talking about ppl then it would be from the place, but since fire isn't a place I've always thought "cat from the fire, cat born in fire, cat of the fire, cat of fire" is a logical progression
