Being Roobushin bait is the premise of one of Clefable's sets that I have written. Holding a Focus Sash, Clefable lures out Roobushin, takes his STAB-Fighting attack, and Counters back. Bye-Bye, Roobushin. Then, while running a Jolly-Clefable to get as much speed as possible, bring Clefable back in on something slower (without priority) and Softboiled the damage away. The last moveslot can be used for Encore to help counter, or a plethora of other options from its movepool.
It's versatility also help it keep its niche over Rankurusu, who lacks many of the options that Clefable can easily make use of.
I understand that Clefable would be lower-rung OU if allowed, but it still has unexpected viability there.
