  1. The Smogon "Suspect Test" Ladder is in full effect! "mark 2"

I've been using the suspect ladder exclusively since its debut on Smogon Shoddy. I really enjoy a metagame of No Garchomp because I don't have to plan my teams out with 3 high defense pokemon with Choice Scarf Ice moves or priority ice moves. I'm not the best team builder in the world, so...
  2. Team No More Heroes! (Pseudo-Sandstorm)

Well the point was to to minimize damage from Bronzong's Gyro Balls. I wanted DD just for the attack boost alone, but I guess in that situation I can switch it to swords dance if he learns it.
  3. Team No More Heroes! (Pseudo-Sandstorm)

The suspect ladder and its lack of garchomp somewhat allowed me to be a little bit more free in making teams. After looking at some of the common leads I decided that I wanted to use a T-tar lead/pseudo sandstream since T-tar doesn't really have any other option for ability other then sand...
  4. CAP 4 CAP 4 - Part 9 (Secondary Ability 2)

After seeing the pokemon animated. I voted vital spirit.
  5. CAP 4 CAP 4 - Ability Discussion

2.having remarkable energy, liveliness, or force of personality It's vital. If you're going to nitpick. At least do it correctly.
  6. CAP 4 CAP 4 - Ability Discussion

I'm going to vote for Vital Spirit. Seems kind of useless to have such a great utility pokemon be put to sleep. Even though I may be jumping the gun. After seeing the animation for Daddy Long Legs the thing sure does look like it has a vital sprit.
  7. CAP 4 CAP 4 - Part 8 (Art Poll 1)

Cartoons Cartoons Cartoons None of the other pokemon really stand out to me in a way that Daddy Long Legs does. After seeing it animated and jacking up Blissey. My choice is made.
  8. Smogon Shoddy is up

Are event moves banned on the shoddy server?
  9. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 13

Alright. All of my teams lately have been sucking. Is there some kind of guide or rules I can use when I construct a team so its well balanced?
  10. Heatoxicroak [1 v 1]

Hmm. Thats a tough call. I'm tempted to say Machamp just to keep the aggresiveness of this team flowing. You may also want to think about taking care of Deoxys-E. I know that thing gives me a lot of trouble.
  11. Heatoxicroak [1 v 1]

I'm interested in seeing how this shapes up as a team. If you're going that far.
  12. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 13

Is it required for a team to have a phys and a special wall?
  13. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 13

Whats the criteria for absorbing toxic spikes?
  14. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 13

Whats a good sturdy resttalker I can use to absorb status?
  15. Gravity Grabbers!

Even through the decreased evasion with Gravity?
  16. Gravity Grabbers!

Crobat @ Wide Lens Timid 160hp/132 SpA / 216 Spe Hypnosis Taunt U-turn Air Slash Fastest taunt in the game really shuts down a lot of leads and a lot of setups. Usually after taunting. I'll uturn to the counter of the Gravity Setup! Clefable @ Leftovers Bold 252hp/152def/104SpA ~Magic Guard...
  17. Using Gravity to its fullest?

Well what I'm looking at now is, Crobat, Clefable, Garchomp, Slowking, Jirachi, Dugtrio. I guess at this point I should make a RMT thread for it though.
  18. Using Gravity to its fullest?

Could you post or PM me the team? I'd really like to compare notes.
  19. Using Gravity to its fullest?

Excellent. That'd be really helpful for comparison purposes. I'm using a team now, since I found out about the gravity increase on shoddy. Its doing "okay" minus a few play mistakes on my end.
  20. Using Gravity to its fullest?

Blissey, Clefable, Dusknoir, Jirachi, Probopass, Wigglytuff all learn Gravity. I'm learning more towards using Clefable as a primary Gravity setup. Then use Jirachi just incase the shit hits the fan. Yeah, I didnt even think about a Garchomp running through my team without any lube. Can a Max...
