How do you control for the Nidoran breeds in gen 4 and the Illimuse/Volbeat line as well? I don't see anything to account for them in gen 4 egg seed search, so do they use a split 50/50 gender ratio or something?

I think that part of Hozu's guide might be outdated as newer versions or RNGr has altered the HG tab to make it easier for users. Just assume that the seeds returned use the same PID frame as the SF calculated in the main window. This is good because you don't need to do chatot flips I guess...

For genderless pokemon just be sure to fill in the slot and subslot, leaving the gender and gender ratio blank is fine.

It's been awhile since I have done HG/SS abuse specifically, but the NPCs never moved during sweet scent as far as I am aware. I even RNGed a Tentacool while staring at an NPCs, and while sweet scenting, he was kind enough to not move a muscle. Platinum, however, those little SoBs run rampant...

Also, do note that when you fight Kyurem for the first time and it fuses, you cannot catch it. If you want to RNG Kyurem, you have to KO the fusion, beat the story line, catch N's dragon, then you go back to RNG and catch Kyurem.
