  1. Apprentice Program - Round Thirty Five

I'm trying to get in touch with Lunar Fang so we can battle.
  2. The Musical Talent of Smogon

I've played the trumpet for 6 years, the bass for 4, and I've just recently gotten around to seriously practicing the guitar. Also, I wouldn't really call myself a drummer, but I can jam fairly well and I've sat in for a friend on a gig or two so I'm fairly competent.
  3. Lookin for some recommended music from some cats who have the funk.

Oh I forgot to mention the Dirty Dozen Brass Band as well. I saw them live with Modest Mouse over the Summer, and believe you me, they're mind blowing. If you don't mind a little bit of hiphop intermingled with your funk, the Youngblood Brass Band are a good choice as well. Some of their...

In no particular order, the albums I've personally enjoyed most are as follows: Destroyer - Trouble in Dreams Islands - Arm's Way Kaiser Chiefs - Off With Their Heads Of Montreal - Skeletal Lamping (Going to see them in Asheville, NC on January 4th. Anyone else going?) Sigur Rós - Með suð í...
  5. Lookin for some recommended music from some cats who have the funk.

Definitely Parliament, Funkadelic, and P-Funk. Anything involving George Clinton is pretty much guaranteed as well. A lot of older Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind, and Fire is pretty funky as well. Bootsy Collins can also bring the funk. Tower of Power is a must, as is Sly and the Family Stone.
  6. Now Playing 2: The Return of Music

I'm only listening to the best hip-hop album ever: Float by Aesop Rock.
  7. Breaking up

Step 1: Get, "I Don't Want to Get Over You," by The Magnetic Fields Step 2: Listen to, "I Don't Want to Get Over You," by The Magnetic Fields Step 3: Repeat step 2 Step 4: After a while it'll be ok. :)
  8. So, what have you read recently?

If you're a sophomore/freshman in high school this book will be extremely good and you'll have fond, fond memories of it. If you're any older it'll probably seem bland and immature. Just a heads up. I read it my freshman year of high school and I have very fond memories of it.
  9. So, what have you read recently?

I just finished Sellevision by Augusten Burroughs by recommendation of my girlfriend and it was a decent, short, and entertaining read. While the individual events that occur in the book are interesting, the overall story that conjoins these events is fairly lackluster. I plan on starting The...
